La roche posay Cicaplast B5 Serum is a serum that claims to help dry and sensitive skin regain its moisture level and repair any dryness and redness. Panthenol is the hero ingredient here, otherwise known as B5. It has been researched and has proven to heal wounds and repair irritated skin. Unfortunately the other main ingredient is dimethicone which is a silicone. Silicone traps the moisture and sits ontop of the skin. This is also what gives the serum its silky feeling. I used this serum for a week and although it definitely did help my skins dryness and minimal redness, I did not like the silicone sitting on top. I tried this during both day and night and prefer to use it in my morning routine as it also acts like a primer. If you're using this at night, make sure you use your water based serums first before adding this as the silicone will prevent your skin from absorbing other ingredients.

I tested the Dove moisturising body wash. This body was came in a big bottle with a handy pump. I have used this body was in the past for myself and my family. It does not irritate sensitive skin. I have a child with mild eczema and it has helped him. It leaves the skin soft, nourished and moisturised. It does have a scent however we actually like it. Some people may find it too strong. We used this for a week in place of our normal body wash. We used with a soft body sponge. It foamed up really nicely and washes clean with no residue. Overall, I will continue to purchase Dove body wash when it runs out.

I have used the Aveeno skin relief lotion together with the body wash. They are the dynamic duo of dry, itchy skin relief. The lotion does not leave the skin greasy. It sinks into the skin quickly and leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth and comfortable. I used this on my son who has sensitive, dry and itchy skin. It did not cause a reaction, which is a winner in my book, and actually relieved the itch! I highly recommend using both the lotion and body wash together to combat dry and itchy skin concerns. The fact that it is natural and effective means I will be repurchasing again.

I have been looking for a natural body wash to help my sons sensitive skin. He had dry, itchy skin which is exacerbated by soaps and washes that claim they are natural but are not. Then this body wash came along. Aveeno is brand I trust and their Skin Relief body wash is amazing. It does not leave a film or residue after washing it off. It keeps skin soft, smooth and moisturised throughout the day. It relieves the itching! I used this together with the lotion and they did what they promised. I will continue using these on my son and will purchase again.

Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream is a must have for aspects of life, especially those of a working mum. My hands are constantly dry from hand-washing. Whether dishes-no judgement, kids, clothes, shoes, this cream cures my hand dryness and what is even better is that it actually still continues to moisturise even after I have washed my hands. I have never experienced a hand cream that actually stays on, without feeling greasy, after washing my hands! I keep this hand cream close by at all times and even my kids have begun to use it. It contains natural colloidal oatmeal which actually sooths dry hands and helps them stay moisturised and comfortable.

Not sure about the v2. This stung my eyes and did not have the same effect as the original. The formulation has definitely changed and in my humble opinion, for the worst. The texture is almost like a light gel and comes in a very heavy, but luxurious screw top jar. I must say, it does look nice in the bathroom. The glass is the same colour as the flagship advanced night repair serum bottle. I used it over anr, which is still amazing. Just a tiny amount goes a long way. Tapping it in gently around the eye, and eyelid. As mentioned, it did sting my eyes and I have never experienced this with other eye creams. It did however provide enough moisture around the eye area. I persisted for a month, however could not tolerate it any longer. It is now being used as a very expensive lip treatment! Personally, unless the original formulation returns, I will not be respurchasing this anytime soon.
