I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant and have been using this butter since I first found out I was pregnant. I did alternate with some oils but found the oils would stain my bedding and wouldn't absorb as nicely into the skin - this would make wearing clothes a little unpleasant too. But I like this butter for it's consistency and feel on the skin once absorbed. My skin on my belly feels extremely soft, even my husband noticed it. This is exactly the result I want and prevents the drying and itchy skin you can get in pregnancy. So far really happy with it and no stretch mark in sight yet which I am scared of since my mother got them really bad early on in hers. I'm really enjoying this and hope it continues being as great as it has been so far.

I do have a skin type that is considered to be oil to combination. The oiliness definitely comes from my T-zone mostly. However in drier and colder months my skin can tend to get dry, rough, texturised and dehydrated. I will usually switch up my skincare routine during these times to give my skin more of what it needs. This is the type of product I would use probably only in the warmer months when my skin gets oilier. It is more of a fluid type of consistency rather than something richer, creamier and heavier. This can make the application a little messy if you aren't careful with the fluid coming out of the tube. The packaging and presentation of this product isn't something exciting or eye catching but if you know what you're looking out for it's identifiable easily. There is no real scent or fragrance to this that I notice other than a typical 'clean skincare' type of scent. The application is easy, with it being quite spreadable on the skin when using it. It also absorbed easily into my skin afterwards without too much wait time. I will say I felt it didn't quite give the 'hydrated' feeling I seek in the colder months as now. For this, I tend to prefer to use this in the morning and use a creamier, heavier moisturiser for overnight. I do think that is something I'll enjoy using more in the warmer months too. It's not a bad product by any means, it just means I'll reserve it for the warmer seasons when my skin will be happier :)

I think when people see 'gentle cleanser' they think it is a product that is not going to be as effective as a traditional cleanser, which has been my experience at times. This was the total opposite! I have an oily-to-combination skin type that tends to get dry during the colder, drier Winter months. It is usually at this time I'll look to switching up my cleansing routine to something more gentle and/or hydrating. This would fit the bill. It is a simple, no bells and whistles kind of product that just does what it's meant to do. Whilst I wouldn't go so far as to say it's an exciting product, it is dependable and I think would be suitable for all skin types. The formula and fragrance-free nature of it would lend itself to a product that those with sensitive skin would be able to use. The result for me using this product was refreshed, clean and soft skin. It didn't feel too rough or dry after use that can come with some more traditional type cleasners on the market. It seemed to clean the skin well without stripping it. Using it was easy and pleasant. There is not much negative to say about this other than it's just an 'exciting' product but it is affordable and does what is promised.

A lot of the time you hear gentle cleansers just don’t do enough to cleanse the skin but this was opposite! It had a nice consistency, was great to apply and use and the result was a refreshingly clean and soft face without that stripping feeling. The fragrance-free formula will be great for people with skin sensitivities. It’s just overall a super simple, no fuss cleanser that really does the job without needing to try to hard. I think this is a great alternative to traditional cleansers for people who seek something gentle but with the same effectiveness at cleaning the skin as harsher cleansers. The end result is happy, refreshed, cleansed skin that doesn’t feel dry, rough or stripped.

I’m really into satin lip finishes at the moment and find them to be that sweet spot between wanting a similar longevity offered by matte lip colours but with the comfort and more natural finish of a cream lipstick finish. The shade range is fantastic and it has an array of gorgeous autumnal colours but can still be worn year round. I’ve always thought Nude By Nature creates beautiful colour ranges for all their colour cosmetics and they definitely carried it through in this product. The formula is a more slippery satin type than I was hoping for, but it’s still beautiful on the lips. It can be harder to achieve sharp crisp lines with this formula, and does tend to move around on the lips so it doesn’t have as much of a staying power and I would have liked but I’m still happy with it. It’s very comfortable to wear which is a massive plus. I would recommend to wear this product only when you have the opportunity to touch up for the rest of the day because I would get worried that it could get messy throughout the day, especially if you’re eating! Overall though I really liked the product and it’s a nice change up from all the matte lip ranges on the market.

I always like the idea of lip primers but putting them into practice is another story. I get all excited about using them and will do for the first few times but then they sit at the back of my drawers and I don’t even remember I have them. What that tells me, is that for me specifically, lip primers aren’t necessary in my routine because I don’t feel like I am missing out when I don’t use them. In saying that, this is a nice lip primer. It does it’s job and what is promised. It smooths out any lines in my lips and gives them a moisturising base for lip colour Application. I don’t think it’s a necessary step especially for the sheer lip balm also in their range, but it could be nice to add in when you’re wearing a drying matte lip colour (which I don’t tend to wear anymore).

A hugely pigmented lip colour is not always what I want when I comes to day to day wear. Sometimes I desire only a light sweep of colour across my lips that still cares for them and I think this is what I got from Nude by Nature with this product! I chose the shade Nude, which I specifically chose because it doesn’t have a characteristic Nude shade. It’s every warm and looks apricot/orange but this is what I was after and I really like the shade. The packaging is in the beautiful signature Nude by Nature rose gold style and is sleek and lightweight, making it the perfect handbag companion when space is limited. Owing to its moisturising and sheer formula, it can be streaky upon application but I correct this by blotting my lips lightly with my finer tips to even out the streaks. I wonder if this would appear worse with the darker colours in this range but for my barely-there Nude shade it wasn’t too much of an issue. Overall I really enjoyed this for an everyday, light sweep of colour and it has a moisturising formula that my lips enjoyed.

I used an epilator for my hair removal before trying this device out but I've always wanted to try an at-home laser hair removal device. I must admit the price did put me off and I also think at $899.95 it won't be accesible for most people to go out and buy. In saying that, it will be worth it if you're someone who is generally terrified and/or nervous to go a salon for these sort of treatments. Firstly, the tecnology behind these devices and ones you'll see in a salon means that you will have to wait longer and perform more treatments at home to get a comparable result. This is because of the type of laser and the strength of the laser, making salon devices unsafe for use by those who aren't qualified in administering this treatment (not to mention hugely expensive). However these home devices use a different set of waves and are safer for people who are untrained to use them in their own home. However I don't mind waiting longer or performing more treatments, since the benefit of using it in my own home can outweigh the negatives. One thing I'll mention is that I wish there was a larger attachment for larger areas. I understand that it comes with a smaller attachment for areas such as the bikini line, but when I was doing my legs I started to feel fatigued and agitated by having to spend so long treating such a large area with a small head. It made the process tedious and had me crying out for a larger attachment. I also think that for people who haven't experienced salon laser removal before (I have), it can be quite confusing and confronting using this device and the instructions should probably be a little more detailed. As for results, I think a longer period of trial to see if it makes such a big difference. So far, the difference isn't huge but I think with more time I'll see better results. My hairs are quite fine to begin with, and although they are dark, thicker hair tends to work better with laser hair removal. That's going off the leg area by the way. Nevertheless I am definitely going to keep using the device and overall I still did enjoy using it so far.

My partner and I generally struggle to reach a consensus on what scent of body wash we use in the shower, given I am a sweet tooth and like fruity, candy scents while my partner enjoys fresh, subtle and more savoury scents. We received this body wash in Ginger and Basil which I thought would suit my partner but wouldn't appeal to my tastes. In the end however, I think this scent was the perfect balance between sweet and savoury and we both really enjoyed it. It was fresh, lively and not too overpowering. Based on the name of the body wash, I did expect this to be more clay-based then it was. I didn't really get the 'clay-ness' of the product when using it. Not saying it wasn't enjoyable - because it was - but I was intrigued by the name and hoped it was more of a clay-based wash than it was. The brand is well respected, easily accessible and affordable for Australian households. Overall, we really did enjoy using this product and I am keen to try the other scents now.

Out of all four masks I was able to try from Garnier - this was perhaps my least favourite. I'm not sure if this was cut differently to the others or something, but I couldn't get it to sit nicely on face. The eye mouth area was the most difficult to arrange on my petite face, however I do understand that one size and shape will not suit everyone so I wasn't too bothered by this. This is quite a strong fragrant mask, so I wouldn't recommend it to people who either don't like fragranced products or are sensitive to them. It doesn't bother me really, but I am mindful of others who would be. I guess overall I just didn't feel like this did much for my skin other than leave it feeling and looking oily. It would be okay to use before bed or during a day at home, but if you're expecting to go somewhere after using it I think you'd have to either wash the residue or blot it away. I didn't get much of a glow from it - but it did feel like it was offering some sort of hydration.
