If you like a thick and some what stiffening cream product to help define and shape your curly or wavy hair than the Bed Head Curls Rock Amplifier is for you. For me, this products thick consistency unfortunately wasn't for me. I used it on various hair washes, using the hair diffuser and a natural drying process and the results were not helping to define my curls the way I like them to look which is soft, smooth and defined. After towel drying my hair after washing, I dispensed at least 1cm on my hand and spread it through my hair from roots to tips as advised. Straight away I found the consistency too thick and sticky on my hands which made my hair feel really heavy. I scrunched my hair and also used the diffuser to help my curls shape and this is where I saw how the shaping effect took place. It almost felt like my hair was drying with a hair spray in it. So if you like an enhanced shaping for your curls this is when you'll see it happen. I would highly recommend this product if you like your curls sharp and defined, but if you like your curls soft and defined maybe use a little less product.

I have wavy hair and I always look to add a bit more fullness and volume when blow drying as well as ensuring that it is tangle free and this KMS added volume leave in conditioner works really well for me. It is super light weight to use and my hair ends do not feel heavy with product. I just towel dry my hair after using shampoo and conditioner and lightly spray it over my hair. When combing through, it helps with tangled hair by gently coating the strands and making it softer to glide through. I then blow dry my hair using both hot and then cold air on my roots to gain a fuller volume. It has a lovely fresh clean scent too which adds to the clean smell and feel of my hair after washing.

I have used the Manicare Soothing Eys Gels are few times now and they are very refreshing for Summer and anytime you may have eye or even headache pain. It is refreshing and cooling to the eye and sinus area as it sits comfortably on the eye socket when lying down. I just keep it in the fridge and take them out when I need a little cooling pamper session. I love the fact that they have a little storage pouch that you can zip lock shut and keep clean within the fridge. After work is a great time to use too as I'm always in front of the computer and it helps with tiredness and puffiness to the under eye area. I found that I do replace these within six months as sometimes I have had the gel dry out which was a little strange to me as the was no puncture hole in them. I get them when they are half price too at the local chemist as it's a great treat for me and I love the cute cucumber design on them.

I am very happy to be trialing the Firming Face Serum by Weleda as it is my first time using the brand and product range. It has been a really nice change to use certified natural skin care with organic pomegranate seed oil and maca root peptides to help firm my skin and energise cell activity. Although I found the scent of this product to be quite strong at first, it has grown on me and I find it refreshing and zingy, exactly like a fresh pomegranate. It is a nice change for a facial serum that I will use during this summer. It is very light weight to use and does not feel heavy even through humid weather, where my skin can feel oilier. I gently pat the serum onto my face after washing and then apply my daily moisturisers as recommended. My face has felt plump and it has given me a nice dewy radiant look during the day. I will be looking into other Weleda products due to their natural skin care approach as this facial serum has felt positive on my skin.

I like using the Bio-oil on my upper legs and torso during winter especially for added hydration and moisture. I use roughly a twenty cent coin size of Bio-oil for my upper legs and massage it in until it is absorbed. I find that it penetrates into the skin easier after a shower once my skin is a bit damp. The Bio-Oil leaves it nice and supple with locked in moisture. I like that my stretch marks on my upper thigh a left supple and hydrated. I don't find that they are reduced in appearance, however I am happy that my skin has extra hydration over this area making it feel looked after.

I have used the Eau Thermale Avene Hydrance Optimale Aqua Cream-In-Gel and it is absolutly wonderful in creating a hydrated and moisturised barrier for my skin during the day. It has a very light weight feel on the skin which is lovely if you don't like heavy creams. The gel like formulation also makes it feel like you are keeping a spritz of the thermal Avene water on your face all day. It glides onto and absorbs really easily into the skin making it also feel plumper due to the hydration it keeps locked in. I love the visual simplicity of the jar and its branding too. A great light-weight cream if you like hydration during the day.

The Dr Lewinn's Gentle Facial Polishing Gel is an exceptional gentle exfoliant that can be used for my sensitive skin. I usually buy this from the chemist and it was in the chemist that I could try the sample of exfoliant on my hand. I decided to purchase and have never looked back on a different quality to use. I love the Jojoba wax beads and it helps with circulation of blood flow on my face while scrubbing it. it is really gentle as I also do not put to much pressure. I use once a week only to help with skin clarity and polishing. The chamomile ingrediant has a lovely fresh and delicate scent and leaves a soft, moisturised feeling on my face. It is great to use as it also helps with my moisturiser to absorb well into my face and create a hydrated barrier.

I was given The La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5 balm to try in return for my honest opinion. This product was perfect to use over these couple of weeks. It is an ultra repairing soothing balm and I used this on my face twice daily, especially around my nose. During this trans-seasonal weather my nose becomes very dry and skin very flaky around nostrils and the bridge. It is a soothing cream and is very easy to apply. The surface of the skin can be white in colour if the balm is not massaged in well as it has zinc as an ingredient so remember to work in well. It creates a lovely barrier and my skin feels like it is healing as dryness is reduced. I also love the size of the product. It is handy to bring to work or on my travels and the lid seals very well. The La Roche-Posay range is very helpful in hydrating the skin and this balm is great to include with the rest of my products. I trust this brand for my sensitive skin as it does not irritate of tighten my skin. Thanks Beauty Heaven for this sample.

The Dove Three in One Serum Conditioner is an intensive repair for damaged hair which has a sweeter perfume scent than the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner. It leaves a salon like fragrance to your hair once dried. I used this serum conditioner in replacement of my normal conditioner as recommended on the tube. Once massaged into the lengths and ends of my hair I left it on for one minute and rinsed. The result was beautifully silky soft ends, a different feel in comparison to the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner. The consistency is also more oilier making it silky when coming out of the tube and when applied, therefore you can see and feel the smoothness quite easily. I really liked using this serum conditioner, my hair felt highly moisturised and strands individually nurtured. Thanks Beauty Heaven for supplying this Dove hair care range to try.

I really found an improvement on the length of my hair when I used the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner for damaged hair. I applied a ten cent coin size of conditioner after I thoroughly washed out the shampoo from my hair and I massaged it in concentrating on the length and distributing down to the ends. After waiting about two minutes I rinsed it out and found it really easy to work with. It didn't feel heavy on my hair or feel like it was thick with residue. The texture and consistency stays on the hair well too. My hair felt silky smooth when wet and was very easy to comb through my curl. When dry, my hair felt light and smooth. I was very impressed with the overall feel of my hair and it looked less damaged on the ends as it was moisturised thoroughly.
