This Loreal Revitalift Filler Eye Serum with 2.5% Hyaluronic Acid & Caffeine comes in a cute purple glass bottle with a silver twist cap, looks very much like a slightly taller nail polish bottle. The this eye serum is a highly concentrated formula containing hyaluronic acid and caffeine, designed to smooth and plump the eye area as well as visibly reduce the appearance dark circles and puffy eye bags, which unfortunately I have. It comes with a unique applicator wand which features 3 small stainless steel beads wrapped in a silicone like band. The unique applicator is designed so that you can gently apply, roll/massage the wand around the whole eye area including the eyelids as suggested. The cold beads are not only cold to the touch giving a cooling effect but also help to de-puff. The serum is clear and very fluid like, almost like water. It is super easy to apply. I tend to use the wand to apply and massage the entire eye area and then use my finger tips to tap and absorb any excess serum. It does leave a slightly tacky feeling and I do find it can cause a tiny bit of creasing under makeup, so I prefer to use this at night time. After using this serum for about 3 weeks, I have noticed my eyes look less tired and more refreshed and my under eye circle and bags are less obvious. The effects are quite minimal and given it's such an easy serum to use, I will continue to use.

Aveeno’s Oat Milk Blend Conditioner comes housed in a beige coloured squeeze bottle with a bronze coloured flip top lid. The design is simple and the choice of beige and bronze colours are perfect for this product that features two keys ingredients being oat and almond milk. As with the shampoo, this conditioner has a pleasant oat/almond milk fragrant scent that’s non-overpowering. The conditioner is a creamy white consistency and absorbs easily into wet hair after shampooing. It helps to soften and detangle hair and rinses out with ease. I have been using this shampoo/conditioner duo for the past month or so and really enjoying the gentle formulation that’s soothing, calming as well as nourishing for my dry hair. This is a great conditioner that’s not heavy and leaves hair feeling soft and hydrated.

Aveeno is a brand that I like and well known for their soothing, calming oat based skincare body washes and lotions, a product that I love using during the colder winter months when my skin is super dry. So I was very keen to try this oat based haircare range. This shampoo comes in a beige coloured bottom with a bronze coloured flip top lid. The design is simple and the neutral colours of the packaging to the cute white outlined design at the front are perfect for this oat based shampoo product. The shampoo is a creamy pearlescent off white colour and somewhat a thicker consistency formula. It has a pleasant, non-overpowering but fragrant scent that I would typically associate with oat/almond based beauty products. The shampoo has a nice lather but perhaps not as bubbly rich lather that I prefer. It feels gentle and soothing on the scalp and rinses out with ease. The think the combination of soothing oats and nourishing almond milk really makes this a great gentle shampoo that cleans well while being nourishing. I have been using shampoo for about a month now and have enjoyed it. It cleans my hair well without leaving it feeling completely stripped and dry. I would recommend this for those who have dry hair or a sensitive scalp.

I was very excited to trial the Lady Jayne Salon Pro Rechargeable Straightening Brush as the idea of a portable straightening brush that helps to reduce frizz sounded exactly what I needed. Unfortunately on first use, I was massively disappointed. Firstly, the brush comes in a nice black box with a storage pouch, usb charging cable and a product/instruction leaflet. The brush is a great portable size, feels nice in the hand with some weight like a quality product. As per First Time Quick Guide on the box, I charged it for 3 hours before first use. It was easy to operate/turn on and off and change the heat settings ranging from 120 to 200 degrees. I have mid length quite wavy, messy and frizzy hair and unfortunately this brush did nothing for me. Going by the name "Straightening Brush", I expected it to straighten and smooth my hair but after brushing small sections of hair at a time, my hair looked about the same. There was no straightening effect and it barely reduced the frizz. I was disappointed and quite shocked as this may be the first product that I have trialed that failed massively in giving results that it claimed. Perhaps it's just my crazy hair? I feel like if you are after a product to straighten your hair, it's probably best to stick with a traditional hair straightener and I wouldn't waste my time using this brush. This product might be better suited to leave in the office/handbag for a quick touch up on already straightened hair.

I have quite dry and sensitive skin and often look for extra moistersing/hydrating and calming products when it comes to bodycare. Colloidal oatmeal is one of my favourite skincare ingredients which I like to see in my bodycare products, so I was very excited to be a part of this DermaVeen Calmexa Bath Soak trial team. I have tried a few DermaVeen products in the past and know this brand features collodial oatmeal in a range of its products designed specifically for those with sensitive, dry and itchy skin. This bath soak comes in the form of a finely milled powder, formulated with 100% natural colloidal oatmeal/oat flour and packaged in a resealable pouch with a plastic spoon enclosed. The design is clean and simple. The product is free from fragrances, parabens lanolin, soap, artificial colours and dyes, alcohol and sulphates, making it ideal for those with sensitive skin/conditions. To use, simply add 4-5 spoons into the bath, give it a stir and relax for 15-20minutes. I haven't had a bath in years, so this has been quite a relaxing and pampering treatment. There is a slight oatmeal scent which I find calming and pleasant. After using this I find it really helps to relieve my dry and itchy skin and provide the much needed moisterisation. My skin is looking much healthier and feeling much softer/better. It's a product I will continue to use, especially during those colder winter months when my skin is at its worst. Definitely a great product for those who want to relieve dry, irritated, itchy skin and having a relaxing experience while doing it.

I'm always on the lookout for a great sunscreen but often find many on the market to be super greasy/sticky and leaves a white cast. This Dermaveen Daily Nourish Body Moisteriser SPF 50+ may well be my new favourite. Love the high SPF and that it helps to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays which is very important with Australia's harsh sun. I have got somewhat sensitive and dry skin and have always loved products that contain collodial oatmeal as I find it nourishing and soothing. I love that this sunscreen not only contains this key ingredient but is also fragrance, paraben free and does not contain lanolin, artificial colours, dyes or alcohol. I'm sure this ticks the boxes for a lot of people, particularly those with sensitive skin or are sensitive to heavily fragranced products. The formula of this sunscreen is like a body moisteriser and not at all like your typical sunscreen that can often be thick and heavy and pain to blend in. This one is easy to apply and blends easily into the skin and doesn't leave a nasty white cast. It leaves a slight healthy glow and doesn't feel at all sticky/greasy or heavy, pretty comfortable. Pretty amazed with the formula and love that it is also 4 hour water resistant and can be used on the body as well as the face. Definitely will recommend to family/friends and will repurchase.

Nude by Nature Renewal Daily Facial Oil comes in a simply designed elegant white box and is housed in a beautiful 30ml frosted glass bottle with a white dropper. It looks very nice with all my beauty products on my vanity. The facial oil is a lovely pale yellow translucent colour and quite a watery formula. Enriched with MagNUT Sense Oil, Ocea Defense (I'm not entirely sure what they are) and grape seed oil, this facial oil claims to be lightweight and non-greasy whilst helping to nourish and retain moisture and soothe fragile skin including those with sensitive skin. I have to agree that this is probably one of the most lightweight facial oils I have tried. I love the more watery formulation as it makes it very easy to apply and quick to absorb into the skin. There is a very mild fragrance that's pleasant and non-overpowering. Only 2-3 drops is required and once applied, my face feels super soft and nourished without a heavy greasy feeling. It doesn't feel sticky and my face doesn't look shiny which is great especially when I tend to layer on other skincare products. It can be used morning and night, alone or under moisteriser/makeup. On days when I've been in a rush, I just apply a few drops after toner and don't bother with any moisteriser afterwards and it's nourishing for my skin. Complexion just looks nourished and healthy, and it has been great for these past few weeks when I've constantly had the heating on. This is definitely a product I will continue using on a daily basis and would recommend for those looking for a nourishing and lightweight facial oil.

Nivea's Naturally Good Micellar Face Wash with organic Aloe Vera comes in a clear with a slight grey tinted 97% recycled plastic pump bottle and contains 140ml of product. The packaging/design is clean and simple and the green design on the front label looks fresh. It's a good size for my shower caddy and the pump bottle makes dispensing/using the product super easy in the shower. Also good to see it has an expiry date noted on the back label. The gel cleanser is a semi-clear/semi opaque formula with a fresh clean/aloe vera scent that's pleasant and non-overpowering. It contains 99% ingredients that are of natural origin and 1% of other ingredients to ensure formula stability and safety. The consistency is what you would expect from a gel cleanser, neither too runny nor thick and only a small pump is required to generate a nice foam to gently and effectively cleanse the skin. I have normal skin and this cleanser works well for me. After massaging this onto my wet face and rinsing off, my face feels fresh, clean and comfortable without feeling taut or tight. So far I've been enjoying this cleanser and will continue to use daily.

I've got naturally black hair and don't have many greys that I could see, so this Schwarzkoft Hair Mascara isn't something I need right now. However, to me this is quite a smart product for those who want a very quick, convenient and easy way to quickly touch up any grey hairs. Coming in a sleek black/purple box and mascara tube, this product would be ideal for those who want to quickly cover any white/grey hair strands/roots. Its compact tube makes it easy to throw into the handbag for quick touch ups. This hair mascara is very much like a normal eye mascara with a silicone brush head to help provide precise application. Only a light hand is needed to apply the product and it dries relatively fast to provide natural colour/coverage. I wouldn't necessary recommend this for those who have a full head of grey hair as that would be impractical.

I love beauty oils and this is Glow Lab Rosehip Oil + Plus is another great addition to my night time skincare routine. Housed in a simply designed white box, this powerful rosehip oil blend is housed in an 20ml amber glass bottle with a hygienic and convenient dropper dispenser. This oil is rich in essential fatty acids and enriched with Vitamin C and contains no parabens, sulphates, phyhalates, silicones, SLS/SLES, synthetic dyes, coamide dea and mineral oil. It is designed to provide not only provide antioxidants to combat fine lines and wrinkles, but the addition of Vitamin C helps to reduce the appearance of scars and boost brighter skin tone. I love that the oil isn't fragranced and versatile to be used on its own after cleansing/toning, mixed in with your moisteriser or foundation for a more dewy finish. Just a few 2-3 drops is needed, and it provides the needed moisterisation my skin needs. Recently with constant wearing of face masks, my skin has been a bit more irritated and dry and I find the addition of this nourishing rosehip oil helps to combat this.
