I wasn't expecting all that much from this product, but it surprised me! It offers two-in-one functionality with a sponge on one side, and an exfoliator on the other side. Personally I wouldn't use it as a sponge - I use bar soap and I prefer the lather I can get using soap with a loofah. However, I'm confident it would offer a great lather when used with a body wash instead. The exfoliating side was brilliant! Gentle enough for regular use, I used it for a quick exfoliation of my extra dry areas; knees, elbows, ankles whenever I showered. It comes with a handy strap to help with grip, and can be used in either hand. The strap is also useful for hanging it up to dry. The exfoliation side is made from recycled polyester which is also good knowing its made from an environmentally conscious material - every bit helps! For more hardcore exfoliation in preparation for tanning or hair removal I would use something more abrasive (the Manicare exfoliating gloves, or a tanning exfoliating glove), but for an everyday smooth-over this is a great option.

These gloves offer a super convenient, easy to use option for an in-shower exfoliation. The gloves are made from a recycled polyester which offers superior sustainability. The idea is that you wear the gloves on your hands while showering or bathing and use wherever you require exfoliation: areas of thickened or dry skin, in preparation for hair removal, in preparation for tanning, etc. I loved that the gloves gave me flexibility and accuracy over my exfoliation - I was able to get into every crevice and those hard to reach places! It offers good exfoliation, I would say a 4/5 compared to the 5/5 of a more roughly textured tanning exfoliation glove. I did find the gloves slightly tight and difficult to get on in a hurry - but I do have extremely large hands! I also would have liked the addition of a little loop coming off the wrists to be able to hang them off a hook to dry, rather than hanging over the top of the shower. Overall, these are a good option for exfoliating. I do like that there is one for each hand - this is actually quite a time saving feature as you're able to cover twice the amount of surface area, as compared to a single exfoliation item.

I was quite dubious as to whether this product would work for removing hair. But I was excited to try as I 100% live in the "time poor" category - we're a FIFO family and I gave birth to my 3rd child at Christmas. On average I manage to shower about 3-4 times per week, and I definitely don't have time to shave during those showers!! So when I trialled the Crystal, I had about 3 weeks hair growth. I've also had long term issues with severe ingrown hairs, which worsens with waxing, so I'm limited in hair removal options. I used the exfoliating glove the day before, as recommended. I first tried the Crystal while breastfeeding on my couch! I was pleasantly surprised that it did indeed remove my hair painlessly! It needs quite a bit of pressure and a circular motion. It feels great in the hand and is easy to grip. What I loved most is I could do small sections at a time throughout my day when spare minutes popped up - this is brilliant for my current circumstances! I actually did my entire legs over 2 days haha. It may have taken me longer due to the 3 week growth that was already there. I also liked how the Crystal exfoliates at the same time, which leaves the skin very smooth and minimises ingrown hairs. I did not experience any irritation, but I can see how that could happen if you went over the same area too many times or with too much pressure. I also found that it did not work on certain areas of my legs e.g. on my knees, the backs of my legs where I couldn't quite apply to right amount of pressure, and the tops of thighs where I couldn't get my skin taught enough. But it removed enough hair that the next time I showered I could quickly and easily shave the missed patches without it being a half hour job! I found the regrowth was slower and softer compared to shaving regrowth, which is great. I haven't had a chance yet to try the Crystal on shorter regrowth, so I'm not able to comment on its effectiveness on short hair.

Thank you to BH for allowing me to participate in this product trial - when I saw it was an SPF product specifically designed for oily skin AND it was water resistant, I was very excited! The tube is a generous 100ml, and I always appreciate a bottle that sits on it's lid - so much easier to get every last drop of product. The lid shuts tightly which is great for beach bags etc. The fluid is your typical white sunscreen, it has a light, runny texture and flows easily. It was easy enough to apply to the face but does take a bit of work to spread around. I found it left quite a strong ghosting, and then the effort to spread around and rub out the ghosting ended up making my face quite pink - I would recommend applying this 10-15mins before makeup if possible. Unfortunately I found this left my skin looking quite shiny and feeling greasy - not what I was hoping for. My powder foundation did apply quite well over the top, and I didn't become more shiny than usual throughout the day, so that was good. I trialed this product with makeup for a day in the office, and without makeup for a hot sunny day at the zoo. I found it a bit heavy for a day indoors, but it was great for the outdoors and my face was well protected from the sun.

Thank you to BH for the opportunity to review this lovely product! I have oily skin with the typical enlarged pores, rough texture at times, and often reddened appearance. This cream was such a lush addition to my morning routine. It's light, absorbs easily and quickly, makes a great base for sunscreen and/or makeup, and has a lovely soothing effect. I first started using this during a particularly rough hormonal breakout and I found this cream so soothing and calming. It has a light fresh fragrance. The only thing I didn't love was the packaging - I'm all about practicality and the tub is wider than necessary and takes up too much space in my bathroom cabinet haha, plus I don't love dipping my fingers into tubs of cream due to contamination - give me a quick and easy pump bottle any day! But apart from that I loved this cream and it felt like a little treat every time I applied it. I found my skin stayed more matte throughout the day and my makeup was long lasting.

I received this product to trial (thanks BH!!), unfortunately it was during Perth's wettest July on record, so not the best time to be trialing a sunscreen, but I still used it and was impressed with it's shine control properties. Starting with the packaging, it's a very convenient 50ml bottle with secure flip top lid - extra bonus points for being able to store upside down! Great size for every day use but also small enough to chuck in a toiletries bag for gym/travel (what's travel?). The product is a creamy white, as expected of a sunscreen. It applies smoothly and spreads easily (an advantage that chemical barrier sunscreens generally have over physical barrier sunscreens). It blended in well and did not leave any ghosting. I tried applying it on it's own, as well as mixed with a little tinted moisturiser, and both applications styles worked really well. The texture is slightly, I don't know, powdery, which is lovely - you can kind of feel the mattifying/powder/oil absorbing properties within the cream. Makeup applied smoothly over the top, no pilling whatsoever! I honestly can't comment on the SPF protection of this product, because I've barely seen sun in weeks, BUT I have used Nivea sun products before and have absolute faith in the quality of their SPF. What I CAN comment on is the SCF (shine control factor) - it is BRILLIANT! I have very oily skin that is glowing before I even arrive at work, especially if I'm wearing sunscreen, and this product really went the distance. At lunchtime I barely had a glow, which was really impressive. I've deducted one star for my only complaint - the smell. It's certainly not offensive, but it is quite overpowering and at no point could I "forget" that I was wearing sunscreen, because I could constantly smell it! Which is a shame, because the lightness and feel of the product should have meant I could forget I was wearing it. Just the smell was the constant reminder. This would not stop me from re-purchasing, because otherwise it is great!

To give you a snapshot, I haven't seen a hairdresser in 7 months, my hair is long (mid-back), thick, oily roots/dry ends, and at best I brush it maybe once a week (#mumbunforthewin!). My hair was not looking good. I was therefore pretty excited to receive this treatment to trial. I was also a little nervous - I've never used a leave-in cream before and have usually avoided them as I assumed they'd be too weighty and heavy for my thick, oily hair. The bottle is a generous 200ml with a pump style lid. I probably wouldn't trust the secureness of this lid if I was travelling, but it was fine in the bathroom cupboard/drawer! The bottle has a good amount of squeeze in it so you can easily control how much product you're using. The treatment had a typical white, creamy texture, and it had a really luxurious smell that reminded me of a salon treatment! I used about a 50c piece sized amount in my palm, rubbed it between my hands then worked it through my towel-dried hair, focusing on the ends which were showing the worst amount of damage from my neglect. It was easy to work through the hair and smelled so good! If I was styling my hair (rarely), I would then brush out my hair and blast dry it with a hairdryer before running the brush through it again. This whole process was definitely made easier when using this cream! If I wasn't styling my hair (usually) I would then gather up my tresses into a haphazard mum-bun on top of my head. But I felt good knowing my hair had at least been treated and was appearing healthier, despite the mum-bun. Every time I used this it was following the matching conditioner and leave-in treatment cream as recommended - please refer to my other reviews for more info on those. I really thought this cream would be too heavy for my hair but I was pleasantly surprised - it absorbed beautifully and really seemed to penetrate my hair, leaving it smooth and weightless. There was no stickiness or oily residue whatsoever. As a complete package I have been thrilled with the results of these products. With just two weeks of use my hair appears healthier, stronger, easier to brush out and manage, with less breakages. My styles last longer (a ponytail is a style, right?) and the subtle smell lingers beautifully. As a busy working mum this has given me great results for very little effort and I will definitely be purchasing this again.

The bottle is a typical Loreal shape, I love this design because you have the option of standing the bottle on it's lid to get every last drop of product. Easy to grip in the shower and easy flip lid to operate while still being secure. The conditioner had a typical white, creamy texture with an incredible thickness. A little goes a long way and it had a really luxurious smell that reminded me of a salon treatment! It worked through my hair easily (something not all conditioners manage to do with my thick hair). I only applied to mid-lengths and ends due to my roots tending to be quite oily. Every time I used this it was following the matching shampoo and followed by the leave-in treatment cream as recommended - please refer to my other reviews for more info on those. As a complete package I have been thrilled with the results of these products. With just two weeks of use my hair appears healthier, stronger, easier to brush out and manage, with less breakages. The bottle is a typical Loreal shape, I love this design because you have the option of standing the bottle on it's lid to get every last drop of product. It had a really luxurious smell that reminded me of a salon treatment! It worked into a lather very easily and was easy to work through my hair. My only criticism is that it seemed to foam up a little too much - every time I used it I would discover a mound of foam had bubbled up from the drain in the middle of my bathroom floor! Easily fixed though. Every time I used this I followed with the matching conditioner and leave-in treatment cream as recommended - please refer to my other reviews for more info on those. The tube is a generous size and perfect for keeping in the shower - the design means you store it lid side down so you can make the most of every drop of product! The packaging is great, eye catching, and easy to operate. The product itself is a wonderful thick consistency; a medium grey colour with speckles of exfoliant dotted throughout. It has a fresh earthy scent typical of clay based washes. I have oily congested skin so I was really excited to try this out, it felt like it was tailor made for me! The first time I used it was over the bathroom sink to wash my face before bed; I probably wouldn't use it for this purpose again because it was quite messy and the consistency means you need a lot of water to wash it off your face and hands- best to keep this one for use in the shower! I loved using it in the shower, if I was having a quick shower I would use it just as a face wash, if I was washing my hair I'd leave the wash/mask on for a few minutes for extra deep cleansing benefits. I loved that the product can be used in both ways. I also loved that it has very gentle exfoliating properties, meaning if I'm in a rush I don't have to use a scrub as well. The beads are very smooth and rounded providing a gentle exfoliation perfect for everyday use. This wash left my skin feeling fresh and well cleansed, without any tightness or stripped feeling. It's a perfect everyday product for people with oily skin and I highly recommend it!
