I like RImmel and often use their cosmetics. I use eye liner a lot, and I thought the two ended pencils would be a great idea, one pencil with two different colours. The soft kohl kajal pencils are a bargain price and available from supermarkets. they are soft and easy to apply and get a smokey smudged efect. Sadly however, and maybe it is because it gets really hot here, the eye liner does not stay even an hour on, and either melts into unattractive smudgey lines down my face or completely disappears.

I was eager to try this out after reading about it shortly after it had been released here. I bought it and used it on cleansed, moisturised, skin with susncreen applied. The pigment was a very gold tone that looked a bit odd, but it was very sheer so blended out. At first it did provide a glowing dewy look, however within an hour of train travel to get to work, it started to become patchy. I was loathe to apply pwoder to set it as I wanted to see if it truly made my skin glow and hide imperfections. By the time I got to work, it was a summer day of the average 35 degrees celcius, and other than a few patches of shine there was no product left on my face. did it melt? The next time i used it solely as a prmer underneath foundation whcih I set with powder, it was no different than my usual primer and it has less sun protection then the primer I normally use. Will not buy it again.

This product comes in a very thick feltpen like barrel,. The applicator has a good pigment flow and makes the eyeliner easy to use for precise lines. PROS The thick applicator provides a dark intense definite line and is easy to use It is easy to create not only cat eye or winged liner styles, but decorative swirls and cobweb styles. The pigment is a gorgeous raven black and I love both the applicator and the pigment. CONS What I am disappointed with is that it does not last long. It starts to smudge within a few hours of applying it and by half way through the day it has completely gone

This palette has an amazing selection of different shades and finishes with neutrals, golds and burgandies in matte, frost and some glittery hues. The shadow glides on smoothly and stays on all day. It blends with ease and the colours compliment each other and a variety of skin tones The box is sturdy and the eyeshdaow remains together without breaking and spreading everywhere, even when it is shoved in my work bag My goto eyeshadow

I have waist length hair, frequently dyed (bright purple, jet black, green... many dyes. many dye removers, bleaches, redyeing ..), wavy and easily tangled. These little vials of treatment oil go a long way - light weight, leaves hair glossy, easy to brush and style and longterm use gives healthier looking hair. I use a few drops on the ends of my hair daily, and also use a larger amount on the length of my hair after dyeing it and after shampooing. This is my go to hair product and I highly recommend it

A single use package - but I got two uses out of it by carefully sealing it up to keep it fresh. The Andalou Instant Age Defying Face Mask Pod is a pleasantly fruity smelling light weight face masque. I found it cooling and calming to the skin and also my face did feel smoother and looked brighter after use. The ingredients state that there are fruit juice enzymes included which, according to the packaging, exfoliate dull, dry skin cells to help support the skin to have a rejuvenated appearance. To use, smooth it on to cleansed skin and leave on for up to 20 minutes, washing with cool water. I was happy with how it felt and the refreshed feeling it gave my face

Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye treatment does seem to reduce puffiness and dark circles. Noticably fresher under eye skin in the morning although the fine under eye lines are still present albeith feeling and looking smoother. The treatment does not irritate skin or eyes which is a plus. The applicator is not very useful though, its a stick thing on the lid that dips into the product. I find it does not easily get product out and may benefit from a better design.

I am a qualified herbalist and make a lot of my own oil infused herbal treatments for skin and hair. As I am really busy with my actual day job I do not always have the time (or patience) to prep rosehips and then have them infusing in oil for ages to then filter, clarify and bottle in sterilised containers. This is where Trilogy rosehip oil has been an amazing find for me. It has quality ingredients, nothing 'nasty'in it, and a small amount goes a long way. It is great for cuticles, ends of hair as well as face and neck.

In a small convenient to carry tube this primer has some sunscreen properties as well as creates a matte base for foundation. When in a hurry rushing to get ready for work (or because of laziness, who can say?) I have been known to use this as is as a foundation/sunscreen on its own finishing off with some translucent powder. There is no dominant odour or fragrance which I find is good, as it can be quite irritating having scented products (or odoriferous products) too close to my nose. The primer is lightly textured and quite a thin fluid although it does have some viscosity. It absorbs well and I find it does not leave any greasy blobs and it seems to find its own level creating a good even coverage with a minimum of effort on the face and neck area. The primer does provide coverage or blurring for fine lines and some blemishes but it is not a concealer so does not completely hide blemishes. I am unsure if when used with foundation it helps the makeup stay on longer, I have never tested with primer versus without. I like this primer and I think with the added benefit of a sunscreen it is beneficial as well as supporting aesthetics.

Some would think that alabaster white skin is a good thing, however I would recommend not trying to keep it with this sunscreen, unless you want zinc residue alabaster white skin. Yes it is dry touch, and also drying to the skin. Although I carefully applied a small amount and rubbed it in well, after half an hour of wear I could see white smears of the sunscreen start appearing on my face as I sweated. My skin also felt dry after using this sunscreen. It was in no way sheer, the white residue remained and left a white sheen on my face until I removed the sunscreen later in the day. Deciding to give it another go, I tried it again, on a cool day, in case the sunny hot day was too much for the sunscreen to handle. On a WIntery day I again tried the sunscreen. Again it stayed visible on my skin, not sheer but white, and made my skin feel dry. No doubt the sunscreen just does not work well with my skin as I have seen others rave about how great it is.
