Cellular Lift Expert Night Cream felt nourishing on first application. Using this night cream in conjunction with its due day cream, I was hopeful for power couple results! My skin is late 30's showing signs of loss of firmness and dullness. The cream comes in quite a little stylish pot, which means you also have to touch the product to scoop out the required amount, I think a little spatular would be a great addition if you had a spare one to help with keeping the product clean and fresh. I much prefered this night cream over the day cream as I felt personally it absorbed better into my skin and didnt impact my ability to use make up the following day. The light scent is quite nice and doesnt linger too long. I didnt find that the cream transformed my skin over night as per claim, I felt hydrated though in the morning. My skins density didnt seem to improve as much as I had hoped and lacked seeing results to lift. I did find the cream application may eventually be too heavy for my skin, as towards the end of the trial weeks, I did get some break outs on my cheek and forehead areas. This is unusual for me, but cleared fairly quickly . Long term, its a nice moisturiser but it didnt hit the claims for me. Price is fair and good for those just begining to use a day/night cream combo.

Reviewing Cellular Lift Expert Day Cream SPF15 lasted the 4 weeks, this time frame gave my skin time to adjust and plenty of time for results to be seen. I felt excited to trial the Nivea cream based on previous good results with Nivea products, however this time the claims from the brand didnt quite live up. I didnt feel my skins strength or structure improved during the trial. I applied daily in upwards strokes but failed to see any visible lifting results by the end of the trial period. I liked the signature scent of the Nivea cream, and found the little pink pot to be visually appealing, the price for the amount of product was very fair. Long term, i found my skin started to break out from the use of the cream as it was rather heavy for my skin. I did enjoy not having drier winter skin during this trial and i attribute that to the moisture effect of the cream. I felt I still needed to wear sunscreen with the lower level of protection offered by the cream , added to my extra steps of my morning routine. I found I couldnt wear my usual make up over the cream as it was just to slipery for my products to stay all day. Long term I dont feel the product was right for me, currently in my late 30's and early signs of aging skin.

I am forever on the quest for a conditioner that won’t weigh down my fine hair but also keeps its moisture locked in so I was keen to trial the new Aveeno Fresh Green Blend conditioner. I usually wash my hair daily, and find that I usually wake up the next day needing to wash my limp hair again to achieve that fullness at the crown . Whilst using the Aveeno Fresh Green Blend, I managed to stretch my daily hair wash to every second day. I have fine hair and thinning hair, together with the shampoo from this range, I felt my results were thicker, fuller locks. I also Color my hair and found the level of moisture not quite enough, which was the only downfall. My hair did drink it in and if there had of been a longer lasting moisture level to the conditioner, I would have rated this product higher . The scents is quite light but fast to disappear once hair is dried. Long term I don’t think the conditioner is going to provide enough hydration. The blend is quite gentle and I feel confident with the Aveeno brand knowing it has no sulfates, colours or parabens.

Aveeno is a brand I am familiar with regarding good skincare, and am excited to say, will now be a brand I associate with good hair care too. Aveeno’s Fresh Green Blend Shampoo worked well on my often combination , fine hair. I felt the scent was a reminder of green tea and didn’t last too long once dried. I found the lightweight results I have been searching for. My hair was much fresher the following day with less limpness and didn’t have its usual needing a wash again look. I think long term the shampoo has been a little bit drying on my dry ends, definitely apply and work into the roots of the hair , avoiding the ends. I usually wash and dry my hair every day, and found that with this shampoo, I was able to skip a day and keep the fullness looking fresh. I appreciate the no sulfates, no dyes or parabens. I think it’s important to cut down on additives where possible. Being blonde, I think the colourless shampoo really helped me to maintain my brightness and cleanness to the blonde.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Lift and Firm Day Cream is a smoothing hydrating partner in a dynamic duo of the Advanced Ceramide range. The 50 mil pot would be best improved with a product applicator as I prefer not to use my finger to get the product out of the jar. This day cream provided an improvment to my skins hydration levels daily. Whilst this product is also a thick cream, skin simply drinks this in and begins to plump and firm. Slightly pink in colour as compared to the night cream, with a noticible different scent , there is no confusion between the two pots of products. I didnt enjoy this scent of the day cream and it was a slight turn off for the product experience. Long term, I am unsure if this day cream would be appropriate for my following make up routine, as I felt I appeared more oily when foundation was applied over. This could be improved perhaps with a foundation change to a more matte finish potentially. I noticed this day cream is also $10 cheaper in the RRP. I did much prefer this cream in the night formula. I did see a change in my skins hydration furing the trial period, and felt the best lifting and firmness results showed around week 4 of the period of use. Long term I feel the results will continue to improve and adress my areas of concern for my skin.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream is a luxurious 50ml pot of results! Golden in packaging and quality pot set the tone for the high quality of the night cream. The cream is quite thick, think stiff peaks yet easily and light to spread over the face and neck. Whilst this white cream is thick, the absorbancy is high and cooling to the skin. Using this product, my skin began to feel more hydrated, softer and firm by week 4 of the trial. I did also use this cream in combination with the day cream from the same Lift and Firm range. I prefered the scent of this cream to the day cream. I found the soft clean scent to be only short lasting but more pleasurable to smell then the day cream. Long term I felt the results really became clear around week 4. Using every night during the trial phase, results just became better and better. I prefered waking up to my skin after use and found the visibility of the lift and firmness to be at its best in the morning. Long term I feel for my skin, the results will be even better. My skin is lat 30's, showing signs of maturing with fine lines, It has lost some elasticity especially around the jowl area, and this range has commenced addressing this area of concern for me. The price range is reflective of the products ability to deliver results.

L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal melts into the skin! With claims of waking up to new skin cells and improved skin radiance, I was excited to give this serum a go. My skin is mid to late thirties, combination skin depending on the weather and my hormones. I have visible ageing to the skin with fine lines and a loss of firmness beginning. I noticed right away how luxurious this serum felt, reminding me of a serum from a top dollar brand immediately, however with a more friendly price tag . I found the ease of use enhanced by the dropped lid however these kind of lids on products don’t tend to be my favourite. Applying in the evening for my first application, I noticed how smooth and silky the serum applied. Immediately absorbed into the skin. My skin began to look hydrated and plump as the weeks went on with morning and night use. I did have some break outs at the time, but would not contribute this to the product. I found during the day the product didn’t effect my make up wear and possibly helped to provide a smoother base for products such as foundation and powders. Around week 3 I noticed my skin looked much fresher, softer and full. 3-4 drops is definitely enough for for coverage. There is a very light scent to the serum which I felt didn’t linger once product was dry. I’ll definitely finish this product quickly with the twice a day application.

Cetaphil is a well trusted brand in my home and with previous products I have used, however this Sun Ultra Light Lotion spf50plus failed to deliver. I found the product to be opposite of light in texture and application. I used the same amount of product per application as any regular sunscreen and found I had to work it into the skin a lot to get it to absorb. The texture is that of regular sunscreen and quite oily considering it’s oil free and suppose to be a ultra light lotion. This product was not suitable for my face long term at all. I was not able to wear under make up and it was quite obvious that I had sunscreen on my face. I was disappointed that the uvb and uva protection didn’t live up to my expectations. I was exposed to sun for 1.5 hrs and came away whilst not red from the sun but clearly outlined with sun damage from my clothing wear I was not covered but wearing the lotion. The smell is fine, it’s a light sun cream smell and is not noticeable after a while wearing. I think the product would stain clothes if they were light enough. The colouring has a light yellow lemon tinge to it.

Schwarzkop Hair Mascara really impressed me with their shade of Dark Blonde hair mascara. I have coloured hair, however my grey hairs do come through. I often wear my hair tied up so those greys are very obvious at times. Being that my hair is a mix of blondes it can be very hard to find something which belends seemlessly with the colour blends my hair dresser creates. The applicator brush made it easy to apply and tame those hairs into line with ease. I really liked how natural the hair seemed to dry with the product in. I had compliements asking if I had just had my hair done! I have lots of fine hairs, generally those are the ones coming through grey so I was a tad nervous to apply the product to my clean styled hair. I found however the producted didnt add extra weight. There is a scent to the mascara however it doesnt last once the hair is dry.

Glow Labs Rosehip oil Plus was a nice gentle suprise for my skin. I have always been skeptical and tended to avoid 'oil' type facial products as I can hormonally be oily in my skin from time to time. I often worry placing an oil on my skin would be to heavy, clog my pores and cause a break out possibly with long term use. Well, I was kindly suprised to find that the Glow labs oil was not guilty of any of the above. Instead my skin felt nourished, hydrated and protected. I used the oil as an additional skin care product in my nightly routine. I didnt felt the product soak into my skin when applying, I felt the residue was still on my skin in the morning. Which provided hours of hydration over night, this was great as during the summer months we sleep in air con and this can dry my skin greatly. I didnt find any reduction into my fine lines or wrinkles. My skin was feeling lighter and brighter though which may be the result of the Vitamin C. This product suggests it can be added to your foundation for a dewy look. I found this didnt blend well into my foundation and infact impacted the ability of my foundation to hold on my skin.
