This is a beautiful conditioner. I really enjoyed trialling it. The fragrance is a beautiful fruity smell that lasts throughout the day. The consistency of the product is like a gel cream. It is thick enough that it adheres to your hair quite easily and only needs about 3 to 5 minutes to soak in sufficiently. The product rinses out quite well and does not leave a heavy residue, despite this it is quite hydrating and didn’t leave my hair feeling dry or undernourished. When using this product after blow drying my hair looked silky smooth and shiny. I did have a haircut while I was trialling this product, but I felt it helped maintain the ends of my hair after the haircut. I really like the smell, consistency and results I received from this product and would recommend it to other people who are looking for light hydration and a nice smelling conditioner.

If you like fruity smelling shampoos that create a thick lather then you will love this shampoo. The shampoo is a thick gel like consistency that lathered up into a thick white foam. Even when my hair was quite dirty and oily, I only needed to do a double cleanse to get it clean. It did take a little bit longer to rinse out the shampoo, but it left my hair feeling clean without leaving it feeling squeaky or stripped. Despite taking a little bit longer to rinse it was not a heavy shampoo that weighed down my hair it still left it quite light and voluminous and shiny. For me, one of the biggest pluses about the shampoo was the fragrance, it is quite strong so if you don’t like strong smelling shampoos, you might not enjoy it as much but for me it left my hair with a fruity scent for hours after I shampooed if not for the whole day. I really enjoyed this product and would recommend trying it if you are looking for soft,hydrated, smooth hair.

I have used this brand before and was pleasantly surprised with this particular product in their range. I have used one of their light conditioners before and felt it was too light not effectively softening my hair and leaving it still a bit knotty upon rinsing. But this conditioner was really good. It was light, but very effective. I only needed to use the smallest amount and it covered my hair easily, coating it nicely. I left it on for about 3-5 minutes and it rinsed out really well. It didn’t leave a heavy residue, but left my hair feeling soft- with no knots! After a blow dry there was no need to straighten my hair because it was already so soft, silky and there was no frizziness. Because the conditioner is so light I was still able to achieve some nice natural volume and I was able to get about a day and a half wear out of my style before it became noticeably oily at the roots (I usually only get one day wear). Additionally it has a nice light fragrance that sits in your hair without being too overwhelming.

A nice, softly fragranced shampoo suited to fine, oily hair. The product produces a lather that is lighter than other shampoos I have used, but that rinses out easily not leaving a heavy residue. Equally, it is not so harsh that it feels like your hair is completely stripped. After blow drying my hair it felt noticeably soft and smooth with no frizziness. My hair is considerably oily at the roots and usually only lasts one day, but I was able to go about a day and a half before becoming noticeably oily. Overall this seems like a nice, light shampoo suited to fine, oily hair, producing a thorough clean and above average longevity.

My review on the Aveeno ACV shampoo details my crusade for shiny hair, but in short, I have been on the hunt for hair products for the past year with varying degrees of success. The Aveeno ACV conditioner is definitely one of the products I would recommend if shiny hair is one of your goals. The texture of the conditioner is surprisingly light (compared to the shampoo which is quite a thick gel), I like this for a couple of reasons, firstly because it is easy to get the product out of the bottle. There is nothing I hate more than when you need to endlessly shake and bang a bottle in the shower to get to the contents. I also like the light consistency because it didn’t weigh down my hair and was easy to rinse out. It also smells surprisingly nice. The scent is a fresh apple smell, it doesn’t smell synthetic and I can smell the scent in my hair for most of the day. Best of all the results are fantastic. After I have blow dried and straightened my hair it is so shiny. It looks healthy and nourished, but isn’t weighed down with oils or residue. I 100% recommend the Aveeno ACV shampoo and conditioner if you are like me and are on a quest to have the shiniest hair in the world!!!!!

I have been on the hunt for hair products to make my hair super shiny since I rewatched Friends during lockdown and became preoccupied with the impossibly sleek and shiny look of Jennifer Aniston’s hair. I have been trying serums and treatments and masks, but never thought to start with the basics of shampoo and conditioner (I know, crazy). When the opportunity came up to try the Aveeno ACV shampoo it was a match made in heaven. Jen Aniston was an ambassador for Aveeno!! I do like Aveeno products anyway, I feel they are less harsh. The ACV shampoo was no different, it did not leave my hair feeling stripped or squeaky clean, it felt freshly cleaned. I am a double cleanser when it comes to my face and my hair and it was no different with this product. The consistency of the shampoo was quite a thick gel, which is surprising as I assumed it would be more runny. But the thick consistency provided a good lather even in the first cleanse, which I loved. It rinsed out fairly easily, like I mentioned it didn’t make my hair feel like it had been stripped clean when I rinsed. The smell of the shampoo was a surprise too, it didn’t have the harsh acidic smell of vinegar, but a subtle golden delicious apple smell. I didn’t mind the scent at all, it didn’t smell fake and synthetic, it smelled natural and fresh. The best part is the results. After blow drying and straightening my freshly cleaned hair it was so beautifully shiny, it is the best result I have had so far since embarking on my quest for shiny hair. I am so happy with the results I am thinking I will be a repurchaser of this product. It’s definitely cheaper than the serums and masks I have been buying and it does exactly what it says it will.

I bought this as soon as it was released along with the cannabis sativa cleanser. I have slightly sensitive skin (it is getting better as I get older) and was told that improving your skin’s lipid barrier helps to decrease sensitivity, which I believe this product does. It’s quite an oily consistency and if you use a small amount it absorbs pretty well, but if you do a couple of drops too many, your skin will be pretty oily the rest of the day. Also, a couple of drops is a little bit herbaceous smelling, but if you go overboard the scent of cannabis is quite pungent. That’s great if you like that smell, people even buy that Maison Margela festival fragrance because they like it so much, but for me it is not quite to my taste. It’s a pretty good product though. It makes my skin feel more resilient, it doesn’t cause any sensitivity, or redness, it definitely doesn’t dry it out. I like the product, it’s not the face oil I reach for regularly, but when I do use it, I think, I should use this more often. It is probably slightly more suited with someone with a dry / combination skin type versus my oily / combination skin type, but most oils are, so I don’t mind it… despite the earthy smell!

This is a very mild toner. If you have sensitive skin, this is probably a good product for you to try. The product is a dark yellow, amber colour and it has flakes of what I assume is calendula floating in the solution. I always shake the solution before I use it to better disperse the ‘bits’. I like to use a lot of the solution, I drench a cotton pad and the consistency is slightly more viscous than water. It is quite a hydrating formula, my skin does not feel dry or tight after using the product. It seems to do the job, but honestly I prefer a more ‘astringent-y’ formula. One where after it is applied you skin feels really clean and purged of dirt. This is nice and it feels clean, but it doesn’t give me that feeling of being prepped for my serum or moisturising steps. So overall, this is a good toner, it’s not drying, it does the job and doesn’t inflame my skin, but I’m not blown away.

This is a nice cleanser. It is a light textured, clear gel which is easily dispensed from an easy to use pump. I like to use a lot of product so I use two or three pumps, but you can easily use one or two pumps and get an effective clean. I also wear quite a lot of makeup and found this cleanser to be effective at removing makeup after a double cleanse. What I liked the most about the Nude by Nature Energising Cleanser was that it effectively removed makeup, dirt and oil without leaving my skin feeling stripped or dry. Without a doubt this is a nice cleanser and it comes in a nicely presented white pump dispenser which looks nice in your bathroom, however there are a couple of things that I didn’t love. Firstly, the scent is very strong. It is a mixture of a herbaceous, natural scent and citrus, which isn’t horrible, but is very strong. Perhaps the strong herbal scent is what makes it energising, but it was a little bit too strong for me. Secondly, I like a nice fluffy, creamy lather and although this cleanser produces a lather it is thinner than I usually like. Of course these two things that I have mentioned are personal preferences and don’t reduce the effectiveness of the cleanser.

I bought this online from the Clinique website when it was first released and I bought the uneven skin tone cartridge in the hydrating jelly base. I am at an age now where I want to address multiple skin concerns in my skincare routine. With the serum dispensed in the moisturiser it gives that step of my routine an extra oomph. I chose hydrating jelly formula before I had tried it and it was not a texture I was particularly keen on so I used the product for a little while and then stopped. One day my partner was asking me to buy him more moisturiser and I told him to use this one as I wasn’t using it anyone and he absolutely loved it. He is now on his second bottle this time with the fatigue cartridge. In terms of results I experienced hydrated skin with a slight increase in clarity, but not really enough to want to keep on using the product. My partner however loved the hydration he experienced in the light weight formula. He doesn’t like heavy or oily textures and this was just right for him. He didn’t experience any irritation. In terms of the cartridges he seems to prefer the uneven skin tone more that the fatigue one, I think the first one had more of a brightening effect which he liked. I gave the moisturiser 4 stars because my partner liked it so much, but I’d probably only give it three stars. I might need to try it in a different base formula?
