This particular Katy Perry perfume has to be one of her best. The bottle itself is absolutely gorgeous and looks like the kind of vial a fairy princess would keep her magic potion in! Yes, it is a little inconvenient as it has to lie rather that stand and I keep feeling paranoid about it rolling off my dresser (unlikely but I worry none the less!) The scent itself is distinctive but not distracting. The overall combination of the freesia, pomegranate and sandalwood is quite warm but still light. It is great for during the day, but I like it as a special night out treat.

For the price, these seem like quite an expensive buy, but a little goes a very long way! The ampoules contain a very generous and very rich treatment. The top can be a little fiddly to break off, but the product comes out easily enough, which is great as the tubes are too solid to squeeze. I found that storing them upright meant all the available liquid settled into the base of the ampoule, rather than getting stuck in the snap off lid. My skin is normal combination, but I found that one ampoule contained more than enough for a single use. I found myself soaking my skin with half an ampoule, then coming back 15 minutes later when it had all sunk in to add the rest. The result lasted longer than overnight, so I ended up using this as a twice weekly treatment rather than every night. It meant I had plump, nourished skin for even longer than the anticipated week!

I'm a big fan of most L'Oreal skin care products, and this is no exception! Having already used and loved the Blue Pure Clay mask, I had high expectations of the Charcoal mask. The mask is very easy to apply, though I found I was using a reasonable amount of product each time to cover my face. I'm sure it's no bigger than usual! After 10-15 minutes, the mask has dried and pulls a little on the skin. However, it washes off very easily and importantly doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped of all moisture. I am very prone to whiteheads and have found that using this mask twice a week has helped a lot with controlling the pesky little things. I certainly notice an increase in breakouts if I don't keep up the regular use. All up, a fabulous supermarket buy!

This is my current go to make up remover. There is so much to like about this cleanser, not least that it comes from Neutrogena which generally produce really good products. The number one reason why I keep returning to this little blue bottle is that it really does do what it says on the label. It is one of the deepest cleansing oils I've used to date. The Deep Clean oil easily takes care of everything though, including eye make up and mascara. It also takes off foundation and lip stain, leaving the skin perfectly clean and soft. My only beef with it is that it tastes AWFUL! I often wear a lip stain and need to remove it at the end of the day. While this product does the job without blinking, it really does taste bitter and disgusting. I fully appreciate that it was not made to be taken internally, but there is also an inevitability that some will get into your mouth while doing a thorough clean. Apart from this though, I can't recommend it highly enough

I've been a huge fan of the Estee Lauder brand since year dot, but this product left me wondering just what it was supposed to do. As a moisturiser, it was nicely light weight and didn't leave my skin feeling slimy. The product sunk in very easily, and while I only used it at night, I feel you could wear foundation over it without a problem. I didn't mind the smell (which didn't linger long after application anyway.) But for all the talk of Global Anti-aging Cell Power, I honestly feel it didn't do anything particularly special, and certainly nothing worth justifying the price tag.

I approached this mascara with a certain degree of caution. My previous experience with a Revlon mascara left me with a gazillion little black worms under my eyes as it flaked SO much. Fortunately though, the Volumazing mascara is not like its Revlon colleague. I used this mascara for the maximum 6 months before discarding, and never once had a problem with flaking or smudging. It applied easily with the slightly bulbous brush picking up all of my lashes nicely. There was no issue with clumping and the final effect was subtle but a definite improvement on my normal look. You could certainly build it to a more volume amazing finish, but I was happy with what one swoop could do. All up a good, everyday mascara

The Smoother Perfecting Primer has an immediate impact on the skin, with the smoothing part of the product's name kicking in on application. I can actually see where I have put a stripe of this on my face, and where I haven't. As such, if you were having a good skin day you could easily just use this product with no follow up foundation. I have been using it as a pigeon pair with the EL Double Wear Foundation, but haven't actually found that it has improved the impact of the foundation at all. This is perhaps a comment on how good the foundation is rather than how useless the Primer is. It would be interesting to team it with a 'lesser' foundation to see if it improves that products performance. The product itself is quite clear, with only a small pea sized amount needed to adequately cover my face. There is minimal scent and only a slight siliconey feel to the skin after application. I enjoying using the product, but as yet don't really feel that it is a necessary step when used in combination with a good foundation.

I'm a big fan of BB and CC creams, mainly because I am too lazy to complete a full on beauty routine. The Natio Skin Perfecting BB cream is very much a middle of the road product, which does what it says on the box, but without going too much further. The coverage is light/medium, so it's great for a day at home, or when your skin is behaving itself. Any significant issues to cover up and this is not the one for you. The coverage lasted pretty well all day, and while the SPF 15 is a bonus, it's a comparatively low amount of sun protection. My combination skin generally likes the moisturising side of this cream, with the drier areas of my face faring quite well. It does sit in any rough patches you might have, so a regular scrub of some kind will make this product look much better. My oily forehead can fire up with this BB, so a dusting of powder is a must. For this reason, I find it is a better winter product as well. The scent is slightly chemically rather than floral or all out perfume- not something that hangs around or is in any way a deal breaker. All up, it's just an OK BB!

At $90 this is a product that you really want to work and work well. And for me, it certainly did. While this is on the exxy side, the richness and effectiveness of the product means that a little goes a long way, and you only need to apply it twice a week or so. As an oil-in-serum, it combines nourishing and hydrating your skin all in one go. The smell is truly beautiful- like a bunch of spring flowers! I could smell it all day!! The product itself sinks into the skin just as beautifully. There was a little bit of residual tackiness, but as it's designed to be used at night, this isn't a significant issue. After use, my skin looked amazing with a noticeable glow and with fine lines reduced. My skin looked nourished rather than just treated. It's a lot of money, but if you're wanting a splurge, then this is a product that is a definite treat!

My hair can be quite frizzy, with a lot of fly aways, and bit of natural kick that I have never been able to control. By using this leave in conditioner in combination with other products from the Prescriptive Solutions range, I feel like I've finally found the key to controlling this unruly beast. It is an incredibly lightweight product that doesn't leave your hair feeling or looking greasy or flat. A small amount applied to the ends while the hair is still damp stops any frizziness developing while my hair dries. Suddenly it seems my hair straightener is not an everyday essential and my natural hair is not the out of control beast I was always thought it was!
