Olay retinol eye cream is a good eye cream for reduction of fine lines. I have noticed a reduction in my crows feet after regular use of this eye cream nightly. This eye cream comes housed in a cute little pot. The cream is fragrance free and has a light creamy texture. I use this along with retinol night cream from Olay. A little goes a long way. I use tiny dabs and gently pat this eye cream under my eyes. It is mild and gentle. Doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. I get watery eyes easily with other products but this eye cream is great because it don’t cause any irritation at all. After regular use, my under eye area looks very hydrated and plump. My crows feet is almost gone. I can see a huge difference because I don’t need to use as much concealer during the day. One big plus is that my makeup or concealer didn’t settle into my fine lines when I use this cream the night before. I have used this cream for a few weeks now and I am going to keep using it to see how it fares with my dark circles. I haven’t seen a huge difference with reducing dark circles yet (Although the causes of my dark circles are genetics + lack of sleep). I would recommend this anyone who wishes improve their fine lines around the eyes. It’s super gentle and effective!

One of the best retinol formulations on the market with affordable price. The cream is very effective and very gentle. It has all the benefits of retinol yet doesn’t irritate the skin or cause dryness. I’m 38 with dry skin and have been using retinol in the past year. Every formula I have used has caused dryness and irritation except this. This night cream is very gentle and very effective. It makes my skin smooth, plump and bright. The cream comes in a jar that is easy to open screw cap. There lid inside the jar was too hard to lift and close, hence I have gotten rid of it. This retinol night cream has a smooth and creamy texture. It is easy to spread on the skin. It is fragrance free as well. Initially the product caused a bit of piling due to which I stated using less quantity of the product. When used as a thin layer on cleaned skin, it doesn’t cause any piling. It absorbs well into the skin. It makes my skin feel soft immediately. It doesn’t feel heavy or oily. It just feels light but creamy. I use this on alternate nights as a sole night cream. When using other retinol formulations, I had to use another moisturiser on top of retinol to prevent dryness. This night cream alone does the job! I have really dry skin and I don’t need any other moisturiser other than this! I have sunburnt while using retinol before in spite of using spf 50. But not with this! I always use a good sunscreen and regular use of Olay retinol night cream didn’t cause sunburn, irritation or dryness. I have been using the product for a few weeks now and I can say that my skin feels refined, clear and smooth. I wake up with great skin! I will surely continue to use it to see how my skin looks and feels. I’m confident it will reduce my sunspots and fine lines. I would definitely recommend Olay retinol night cream to anyone who wants a retinol with all the benefits minus the side effects.

Thanks BHTT for allowing me to trial this product! I love this lip balm! It feels so good on my lips and makes my lips smooth and soft! The lip balm comes in a rose gold tube with a transparent lid. It’s pocket sized, so it is easy to carry. The colour I choose is 04 Berry. It is the darkest of the shades. It’s a gorgeous colour. It suits my skin tone very well. It gives a sheer wash of colour and makes my lips look very beautiful and smooth. It is incredibly nourishing. It is full of good ingredients which makes feels like a treatment on my lips. It is not oily. It just feels like a balm. It really moisturises my lips and makes all the dryness go away. It makes my lips look plump and naturally smooth. All my dry flakes on the lips disappear instantly. It is perfect for on the go. I love to reapply this often. On regular use, I can see my lips improving in dryness. I would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a nourishing lip balm.

Very glad to be reviewing this as a part of BHTT. Thanks! My lips are dry as it is winter now and some lipsticks can make things worse. So I was really happy to try this primer. It comes in a nice sleek tube. Looks just like a lip balm. It is white in colour in the tube. It has a transparent lid which makes it easy to pick it up form a pile of my lip products. It applies smoothly. It does not feel oily or balmy . It feels moisturising on my lips. However, it exaggerated my dry flaky lips. It looked white on my lips! If you have dry lips, I highly recommend exfoliating before applying the primer. But it did make a good base for lipstick. It made the lipstick glide smoother and have an even finish. The whiteness disappears on application of the lipstick and doesn’t interfere with the colour. It made my lipstick last slightly longer. I don’t usually wear matte lipsticks. Most of my lipsticks are either satin/smooth/natural finish ones. Usually a lipstick that lasts 2 to 3 hours can be prolonged to about 4 hours with this primer. Doesn’t really withstand eating and drinking. It is a good product with good ingredients. Feels nice on the lips. But lip prep with exfoliation is a must before applying this product.

Liquid lipstick So glad to get the opportunity to try this beautiful lipstick through BHTT! It is such a beautiful product. I really love how moisturizing it feels on lips in spite of it being a fully pigmented lipstick. It comes housed in nice packaging with rose gold cap. The sponge top applicator is very easy to use and spreads the product evenly on the lips. The colour I got is Terracota which is a gorgeous muted brick red that suits my complexion very well. The pigment is amazing. One swipe and my lips look saturated with colour, even with a thin coat. The consistency of liquid lipstick is creamy and smooth. Really feels soft on my lips. Ot actually feels light and feels like a balm. It has a sweet sugary fragrance that disappears quickly. It is quite pleasant actually. Once applies, it sets to a semi matte, satiny finish. It is not completely matte which I really like about this product. It does have a smooth satin like finish that I love. It lasts for quite a long time (2 to 3 hours without primer, slightly longer with primer). However it is not super long lasting. It needs reapplication after eating and drinking. I don’t mind this at all, as reapplication is quite easy. What I love about this is how comfortable it feels on the lips. It is really nourishing. It doesn’t make my dry lips drier. It makes all the lines and dryness disappear on application to give a smooth finish. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a semi matte moisturizing lipstick.

Maybelline is my trusted drugstore brand for foundations (or any type of makeup!) and Dream Satin Liquid doesn't disappoint. Thank you, BH for allowing me to trail this. The foundation comes in a glass bottle with an airless pump that cleanly and hygienically dispenses the foundation. The texture of the foundation is soft and creamy. A little goes a long way. I dot the foundation all over my face and use my fingers to blend it in. I use a flat top kabuki or my new Hourglass Vashish Seamless blending brush to buff it in. I also top it with some translucent powder to set it and make it last longer. Shade: the shade 'Golden Beige' which matches my undertone perfectly. It is a tad lighter in shade for me but I can get away with it. For reference, I am NW30 in MAC, 30 in Dior, 6 in Giorgio Armani. Coverage and finish: It feels quite luxurious on the skin. The finish is satin like and very smooth. One layer gives a medium coverage which I prefer. I like to show my real skin as skin and this foundation gives me a gorgeous finish that looks like skin. It covers a few odd spots of pigmentation. It makes the skin under my eyes brighter. It is soft and hydrating. It does have a mild smoothing effect on the skin and makes my skin look plumped and hydrated. It doesn't cling on to dry spots. Overall finish is natural with medium coverage. This foundation is long lasting. It lasts until the end of the day but starts wearing off evenly. I still look fresh even when it is wearing off. I really like Dream Satin Liquid Foundation, the shade, finish, texture, everything. I would recommend this for anybody with dry skin who wants a good foundation.

Jurlique cleansing oil is an efficient cleanser that cleans dirt, makeup gently and leaves my skin soft and nourished. The oil comes in a pump bottle. It dispenses the oil easily without making a mess. The oil is a light oil, not heavy at all. The viscosity of the oil is low and doesn't feel like facial oils. It has a mild lavender like herbal smell to it. It emulsifies easily with water making a white emulsion. I pump the oil a few times on to my hands and then gently massage into the face. Then I add a few drops of warm water to my face and then rinse off. It rinses off completely and doesn't leave any residue behind. As nightly cleanser, I use this as the first step of double cleanse. It gently and washes away all of the makeup. On the eye area, it is very gentle. Doesn't irritate my eyes at all. I use waterproof eyeliner and mascara and this removes most of it. I have to use a low foaming cleanser following this cleansing oil in order to remove all of the eye makeup. As a morning time cleanser, I use this alone. I don't have to use anything else. It leaves my face soft, clean and nourised. It is very gentle. It doesn't irritate my skin or eyes. It is easy to wash off with warm water. All these factors make this a great cleanser for me.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery serum is a beautiful moisturising serum that not only nourishes the skin but also is full of botanical ingredients that is beneficial for the skin. The serum comes housed in the iconic Jurlique glass bottle. It has a nice red to pink ombre colour and the bottle sits beautifully on my vanity. The pump dispenser hygienically dispenses the right amount of product. The serum itself is gel like in texture. It is water based and free from silicones (I avoid silicones because I don't like the slip). It has a faint herbal smell, that disappears as soon as I apply. I need 2-3 pumps for cover my entire face. I dispense the serum onto my finger tips and lightly and gently press it on my skin. Because of its light, water based gel texture, it absorbs into the skin fully in a couple of minutes. It feels very moisturising as soon as it absorbs. It is super hydrating. It doesn't leave any residue. My skin feels fresh, hydrated and really soft. During my morning routine, I immediately apply my sunscreen and makeup. It prepares a good canvas for makeup and doesn't cause any balling and doesn't interfere with makeup. At night, I follow it with night cream. I have been using this serum for a few weeks now and I have seen a surge in my hydration. I have very dry and dehydrated skin, which exacerbates in winter. This serum has helped with keeping my skin moist. It adds a natural glow. Fine lines of dehydration on my forehead appear plumped. I am sure on long term use, the good antioxidants and botanicals will help my skin with signs of ageing and dehydration. I would recommend this serum for dry skin and to fight the signs of ageing. Great ingredients, great light water based texture makes this a winner for me!

This double ended contour/highlight stick is a great way to achieve the much coveted contoured look. It is a very handy product for someone like me who is not an expert in contouring. If you are a beginner and after a subtle contour and a good highlighter, this product is for you! Both the highlight and contour are in separate twist up tubes. The applicator end of each is slanted, like a lipstick, which makes application very easy. You can draw the contour and highlight lines directly on the skin and then blend away. This type of applicator gives precision. The formula is simply beautiful. Very creamy and blends very well. It doesn't leave any streaks or lines that are tell tale signs of a bad contour. The two shades compliment each other well and look good together once blended. I got the shade 'Light' which is a bit too light for contouring. The highlight shade can be described as a champagne shade that is not too cool or too warm. It would be perfect for someone with lighter skin tones. On my skin tone which is medium dark, it looks good. Once blended, it catches the light very well and gives a polished look. It is not too glittery or frosty. It gives a nice metallic sheen effect The contour shade has warm undertones which actually perfectly matches my skin tone without much contrast. It would be hard to get the illusion of depth with this kind of shade. I guess we need something that is darker and cool grey based that looks like the shadow cast by high cheek bones. That effect is not very obvious with this contour shade. The effect I get is a subtle one. Too subtle perhaps. It is good for practising contouring for beginners. This can actually be worn and blended well and will never look over the top. It is reasonably priced too and will make a great product to practise contouring.

I got this as a part of BH trial team and very happy to report that this is a beautiful highlighter! The shade 'Light Iridescent 100' is just too pretty! It gives a cool toned pinkish sheen (think Mother-Of-Pearl!) to the top of my cheek bones. On my medium-dark complexion, it looks very natural. It is mildly shimmery (but not glittery) and it looks glow-y which is how I love my highlighters. It gives a nice dimension to the cheek bones, without looking over the top. It looks good both in daylight and under artificial lights (and the strobe of my flash!). It imparts a very natural looking healthy glow that brightens the whole face. The product itself comes in a twist up tube with a flat end. I like to use it directly on the skin over foundation. I prefer to blend it with fingers or a blush brush. The consistency is so smooth and creamy. It melts on the skin and blends beautifully. It doesn't have any roughness or grittiness to it. Once blended, it sits beautifully and lasts almost the whole day. It doesn't look oily or patchy at the end of the day and wears off uniformly. I really love this highlighter. It gives a really beautiful healthy glow to my complexion. The pink sheen is just too pretty!
