I was glad to be accepted into the Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream 50g Trial Team. I have used multiple Olay products in the past but this one is a new one for me. Oily skin and I’m in my early 30s so the regenerist rage is always one ive tended to avoid. Unfortunately since my last baby, my skin has dried out a lot and ive been looking for something a little richer to keep up the hydration. This seemed to be the perfect on the try. The packaging is sleek and clean and I love the luxe feeling of how heavy the jar is. It feels really sturdy. The cream itself has a very subtle scent that is nice and light and gives a fresh zingy kind of feel. It has a light weight feel that reminds me of a mousse that isn’t fully set yet. It’s light on the skin and absorbs incredibly easily. My skin feels hydrated and plump which I am loving. It also doesn’t leave a greasy feel to the skin which I was really concerned about.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Revlon Illuminance brighten and hydrate serum concealer. The concealer is light, brightening and blends really well into the skin. I love the applicator, a elongated doe foot for reaching into the small areas such as under the eyes. I was lucky enough to be given two shades as we just weren’t sure which would be best for my skin tone. I got both the fair and the light colour. The Fair is beautifully brightening and sits well under my eyes and at the high points of my face to brighten and lift. The Light colour is almost exactly my skin tone so is perfect for reducing the appearance of spots, redness and discolouration throughout my skin. I can also use this one on its own without foundation when I just was a smidge of something and don’t need to do a full face. Great concealer and will definitely continue to use.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Lonvitalite Platinum contour roller. I’ve used face rollers and massages before and personally I use don’t really see any significant benefits from them apart from feeling nice. The Lonvitalite platinum contour roller is nice and weighty and sits well in the hand, although I don’t love the point at the end. It leaves a nice cooling effect on the skin and does feel nice when used. I didn’t notice any reduction in puffiness or anything but it does feel nice and my husband enjoys getting a face roller massage every few days. It is very expensive for what it is.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Revlon Illuminance Glow Filter Blur and Smooth Foundation. If you like glowy skin, this is definitely one for you. The foundation gives a very bright glowy finish to the skin. But my goodness is it glowy. When you look at it on the back of your hand, you can almost see an excessive amount of micro glitter throughout the product. obviously on your face, this would provide a extremely glowly look with light bouncing off different parts of the face. Personally I don’t love an extremely glowly look. I have quite oily skin so adding excessive glow makes my skin look really slippery. Other than that, I got the colour Light which is a perfect skin colour match to my face. I also absolutely love this style applicator. It is a chunky doe foot applicator, like a concealer or lipgloss applicator. It makes applying to the skin really easy and although some would say its unhygienic, I don’t see a problem with it when its only for personal use. Personally being more of a matte girl, I wouldn’t repurchase this product, but I will be using it on shorter makeup days that I don’t need something to be long lasting.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Cleansing Oil. I’ve used a number of cleansing oils in the past and my preference is an oil that is water soluble and rises off in the shower. This one somewhat fits into that category. The oil is designed to be used on dry skin which is great. It starts to break down the makeup while being massaged in. once a small amount of water is added, the oil turns into a milky texture giving the skin a beautifully soft feeling. It breaks down even waterproof mascara. Once massaged for a few minutes, you rinse of the oil. Personally, I found this product not as water soluble as I would like, it still left a very oily feeling to my skin that I then needed another cleanser to remove. If I used this over the sink, I used a micellar water to remove the remaining oil. If I used it in the shower, I used a normal cleanser (not exfoliating) to remove the remaining oil. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and will continue to use it on heavier makeup days.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the John Fredia Frizz Ease® Extra Strength Serum. Ohh I was so excited about this product. my hair is quite frizzy and I have a significant amount of fly aways particularly around my face. The bottle is a generous size of 50ml and I find a good amount of product is dispersed in a single push of the pump. I have been using it on wet hair and I have noticed a significant reduction of the amount of frizz and fly away I have throughout my hair. Although this can be used on both wet and dry hair, my preference is definitely wet. I found if I used it on dry hair my hair felt very slippy and sticky. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and will continue to use.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Burts Bees Ultra Conditioning moisturising lip balm. What a beautiful product this is. The rich, hydrating balm is soft and luscious on the lips. It leaves a beautifully slippy feeling on the lips and has a light weight buttery texture to it. The Balm glides on easily and lasts a good amount of time on the lips. I personally like to use this balm at night and it gives a intense boost to my lips over night leaving them soft and subtle in the morning. I have woken up at 2-3 am some nights and I can still feel the buttery softness on my lips. With no fragrance, colour or taste, it is the perfect over night balm. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and will continue to use.

I attended the Beauty Heaven Best in Beauty 2024 marketplace event and was gifted one of the Dr. Wolff’s V-san Intimate Wash Lotion. I’ve used a number of intimate washes before, particularly when I’m on my period. This one is soft, gentle and leaves the area feeling hydrated. I don’t use this every day throughout the year but only 1x per week and then daily when I’m on my period. It cleans the area well and is non irritating. Overall, I’m very happy with the product and will continue to use throughout the year. I can also see this being a great product to use post partum.

Personally its not something that is designed for my hair type, but I did give it a go before passing it off to my mum. It was quite a thin conditioner that really didn’t do much for my hair. It did have a nice soft scent to it but I would have needed half the bottle to hydrate my hair enough for my liking. The applicator on this one was also a little strange but i really don’t know how to explain why. Personally its not a favourite of mine and I wont be repurchasing
