This is the first time that I've used a product to scrub my scalp. I use a small soft brush to scrub my scalp when I shampoo but after having used the product, I think it does a deeper and more thorough job. The scrub has a fine exfoliant which gently and effectively cleans the build up on the scalp. It's easy to apply but a little difficult to rinse as there is oil in the product. The directions say to apply a palm size amount of product but I found that I only needed about half that amount to get an effective result. After rinsing my scalp felt very clean and my hair was soft. I used a small amount of shampoo to finish off the cleansing process. I really liked this product but I would prefer much less scent and a scent that smells more natural.

I rarely wear makeup now so I had to look up how to use the Maybelline New York Lifter Stix. I was confused about why I was sent two different shades but a Google search explained that the darker shade (I have no 45) is used to contour, and the lighter shade (no 20) is used to highlight. I will need to practice the art of contouring and highlighting to create a more skilled look. In the meantime I had a practice with applying the darker colour (45) like a bronzer to my cheeks and eye lids and blending it well with my kabuki brush. I used the lighter shade to tone down some pigmentation and cover the dark circles under my eyes. The product is very easy to apply, it looks natural and it feels really nice on my skin. I'm very impressed with the Maybelline Lifter Stixs. There's no fragrance and the range of colours is excellent.

Clinique Moisture Surge Active Glow Serum is helping to my skin to look brighter and feel more hydrated. My skin rapidly absorbs the light, milky texture and there is no stickiness. The lactic acid gently exfoliates my skin without irritation. I was little concerned that the vitamin C might irritate my skin but it hasn't been an issue. I appreciate that the serum is fragrance-free and it doesn't leave a lingering smell on my pillow. After a few days of using this product my skin looks softer, it feels smoother and it looks more radiant. I'm not sure if I would purchase this product but after using it I can see that my skin benefits from the regular use of a serum.

For quite a long time I struggled with very dry hands, soft nails, splitting cuticles and painful hang nails. I tried numerous hand care products. Some products made a small difference while others didn't work. So far the products that have made the best improvement to my hands and nails contain urea and lactic acid. DU'IT Tough Hands contains both of these ingredients. It's non greasy, is instantly absorbed and provides a glove like protective layer to the skin. For the price, it offers value for money and it's an Australian product. Unfortunately the fragrance is far too strong and I find it unpleasant. I also can smell it on whatever I touch or pick up. There is a fragrance free option, and that is the one I would go for if I was to purchase this product in the future. The cream is also very light and doesn't do anything for my dry skin.

I wasn't familiar with this product so I looked it up online. As a Skin-loving serum, blush drops is powered by a Hyaluronic Acid Complex and Sunflower Seed Oil to help hydrate and nourish. Nude by Nature Dewy Serum Blush Drops is make up with skin benefits. Blush is not something that I normally use as I struggle to get it looking even on my cheeks. After a bit of trial and error, I managed to apply the blush so it looked natural. The colour I received is coral pink and it's very intense, so a little goes a long way. If I was to purchase I would go for the pink petal. I found the blush easier to use by squeezing a tiny amount on the back of my hand and then applying to my cheeks with my fingers. It can also be used with a brush. I particularly like that unlike powder, the blush doesn't crease and it felt very natural and comfortable on my dry skin. It's also fragrance free.

This is the first Burt's Bees lip balm that I've tried and I'm impressed. I wouldn't have chosen Red Dahlia but it's a very pretty colour and it suits my skin tone well. The colour is not very intense but it gives my lips a boost of natural looking colour. I could wear the colour with any outfit. The lip balm is easy to apply and it seems to stay on for a decent amount of time. The dryness of my lips has considerably improved since using the balm and the consistency of the balm is not too light or greasy. The fragrance a little hard to describe what it smells like but it's mild and doesn't leave any unpleasant taste in my mouth. The balm provides a pop of colour when I don't feel like wearing lipstick.

I was very pleased that a hair dryer was included in the beauty discovery box as I don't have one anymore. My hair is very fine and it dries quickly so I usually towel dry my hair and let it dry naturally. The problem with that is waiting for my hair to dry when I shower at night and my hair dries flat. Hairy driers have not worked well for my hair in the past resulting in fluffy, static, fly away hair. I had none of these issues with this drier. The drier is very easy to use and it's lightweight so it doesn't cause strain. It has a generous 3m cord and a handy loop to hang it up. The heat and speed settings with LED indicators are helpful the cool shot feature to set your style turns off the heat. I was very pleased with how good my hair looked after using the drier (& attachments) and I didn't even use any product.

I've never used a 2 in 1 air styler before so I was rather nervous about using it and doing a review. There are a couple of helpful videos on the Remington website demonstrating straightening and styling techniques. I had a couple of goes with the air styler and I didn't find it easy to use. However, the settings are very straight forward. Wet mode for use on damp hair and finishing mode for use on dry hair. I didn't do any curls or waves as I'm not up to that yet. As a beginner I went very slowy and I just did a little bit of straightening. The Airvive can be used for drying but it is very slow so the Airvive hair dryer is superior. The main issue for me is that I have short, fine hair and the wide plates don't work for me. If I had longer hair I'm not sure how I would go as the styler is a little heavy and could cause some arm fatigue.

Dermal Overnight Face Repair contains is an impressive range of ingredients and it feels like I'm giving my face a topical nutritional supplement when I apply it to my skin. I could see a positive difference in my skin within a few hours after applying the product. My skin looked significantly more hydrated and it felt smoother and softer. Dermal products are high quality and offer value for money. This product gives good results for a good price. The face cream has a light texture, it gets absorbed quickly and it delivered impressive results to my skin. However, having said how much I like the cream, the fragrance is far too strong. I would prefer far less fragrance, a more natural fragrance or the option to buy this product fragrance free.

My lips tend to become extremely dry to the point of cracking if I don't keep them regularly protected with good quality lip balms. I've tried several brands and some of them are too thin and don't work while others are too greasy. The texture of Dermal Therapy lip balm is non greasy and just right. It provides instant relief against the tight dry lips and offers long lasting hydration. It has a very mild and pleasant scent and the taste is not unpleasant. Application is easy and when applied the balm feels slightly tingly. The lip balm comes in a small tube which is easy to carry in a handbag or makeup purse, it's long lasting and great value for money.
