A decent basic hydrating serum suitable for everyday use. While I found it absorbed nicely into the skin, I felt it was a bit too early to notice any substantial difference. I did not notice any change in the appearance of my pores, nor did I see any improvement in my complexion. That being said, it did provide hydration throughout the day, and mixes easily with my moisturiser. I like the fact that it’s unscented, and did not cause any sensitivity or allergy. Reasonable price point, so I’d probably consider it as an everyday serum. What I also like is that the formula doesn’t seem to cram in unnecessary ingredients or go overboard with “actives”.

This is a new staple in my makeup bag! I bought one in Acai a few years ago, found them on special at Priceline a while ago and bought one in Pink Grapefruit. My lips are definitely a lot more hydrated and chap a lot less. Both flavors I've tried are divine - fresh and fruity, not this yucky aftertaste that comes along with other brands. I especially like the fact that there are no harmful chemicals added as recently I've switched to more natural brands. Definitely worth keeping a few of these around!

Decided to purchase this to use as an alternative to bright and more intense lipstick I normally wear. I'm quite pleased with it's matte finish and how hydrating it is. The only fault I could find was that perhaps the coverage isn't as intense as I'd like, although I could just use a different shades in the range. Glides on easily, simple to use. Definitely a convert to the Burt's Bees range!

As part of the trial team, I was given the opportunity to trial Schick Hydro Silk...having been a longtime Gilette girl and having a bad experience with Schick in the past, I was a little hesitant but I was very surprised as to how smooth my legs were and how little discomfort there was while using this! Firstly, I found it comfortable to grip and I was happy that a replacement head was supplied. It's quite easy to simply change razor heads and pop them back in. With the 5 blades, I noticed a much smoother shave not as much irritation to the skin (having razor cuts in the past on a few occasions). I've been a little naughty and skimped on the shaving cream, but the moisture provided by the razor ensures that there is effective hair removal I've experienced no allergies or reactions (given that this has been enhanced with a moisturiser) and my legs stayed relatively smooth for quite a few days after shaving. I'm quite likely to purchase this in the future - I'm really glad to see Schick coming out with a 5 blade razor.

The first foundation from MAC I've ever bought. I'm quite pleased with how easily the foundation glides on, a little goes a long way and it's great for layering. Not too thick and gluggy either.
I use two shades for the summer and winter months. Because I have dry-combination skin, I have found the Studio Fix range to provide the best coverage for my skin and the perfect shade too.

My mum decided to try out Nads, seeing as we were after an easy to use water washable wax. We are both quite satisfied as it is more gentle than other commercial waxes.
Having said that, it DID take us a while to get used to using it - I'm used to heating up wax and the application of the gel was a bit painful. We have found that gentle heating and getting it to a smooth consistency has helped make the gel work a little better.

I've finally got around to purchasing Batiste Dry Shampoo. I have not had too many hassles with it as of yet. I guess what put me off the most was the dry, powdery feeling that came along with it, but that's easily fixed by leaving it in then brushing it out thoroughly.
The smell isn't too bad either, quite pleasant and tropical. Definitely cheaper than another dry shampoo I have used and more effective, seeing as I did not get much residual powder or any unpleasant dryness/greasiness. Definitely NOT a substitute for washing your hair but definitely a time saver when you need clean hair on the run!

Decided to try this out as my hair gets oily often...not entirely happy with it. I had to use quite a lot of product to get a clean feeling and I need to brush it out, other wise it looks like a have a huge patch of dust that settled on my hair. It doesn't last long at all, because I can recall my hair feeling very dirty not long after. Definitely not going to use this again, might try another brand of dry shampoo.

With a name like 'Falsies' of course I had to try this mascara out! It's good for day to day wear although I have found it to clump rather easily. Clumping can be solved by removing excess mascara from the wand. Definitely an improvement to my lashes, making them longer and a bit fuller, but it's not a product I'm likely to use again.

I have found that you only need to use a small amount of cleanser and it cleans very well. My skin always feel fresh after using this. I made the mistake of using a little too much when I first started using this, which consequently dried my skin out a little, but overall, I'm very happy with it, now that I know to use a small amount!
