I love Manicare products! I have so many of them. When I saw this in the Rewards room Beautorium, I leaped at the chance to try it. However it has been a disappointing experience. Firstly I was attracted to the colour shown in the photo, a soft lavender hue, however I received a black one. Secondly it was very loose and would not stay on my head for even enough time for me to fall asleep. Thirdly I could not detect any lavender scent. The turban appears to be well sewn together, and the fabric is soft, yet thinner than I expected. I still much appreciate having had the chance to try the product.

For my skin type I prefer a gentle foaming cleanser product suited to dry skin. I always like products that contain natural products, and in particular Colloidal Oatmeal, as my skin tends to be prone to itchiness, eczema and dermatitis. For my needs the Dermaveen Foaming Facial Cleanser definitely ticks all the boxes! The appearance of the tube has changed from when I have seen it in store previously, I think both the previous packaging and the new one are acceptable. However I prefer the previous Dermaveen packaging. Also the tube used to contain 150ml and now contains 125ml. The product itself is faultless... it is transparent, foams up very easily and has a pleasant mild oat scent. It washes off easily and leaves my skin feeling moisturised, not dry. It is very effective at removing makeup without irritation. The cleanser left my skin feeling nourished and fresh.

I was originally attracted to the label on the bottle which I have seen instore, and then saw again when selecting my rewards in the beautorium. I loved the colour of the shampoo and the simplicity of the cut yellow mango. When I received the product from Beautyheaven, I noticed immediately a change in the appearance of the product; the label has a different image, and the shampoo appeared to be a darker hue. I was disappointed. Yes this is a first world problem, however it's often the small things which affect our choices when shopping, and this goes to show how much appearance of packaging counts. The shampoo foams up very luxuriously, however it did not possess quite the same delicious mango scent I recall from a small sample bottle I once received. I would agree that it is a very nourishing shampoo, as my hair was left soft and silky, and shiny too. My husband said my hair smelled nice! My hair felt nourished without being left feeling weighed down by any oily residue. It's good to know that the product contains 86% natural origin ingredients. Despite the unwanted change of appearance, the bottle still looks quite pleasant in my bathroom, and was pleasant to use.

I really love John Plunkett's products, they never fail to impress and deliver with great results to my skin. I was wondering if it could still do that with a moisturiser designed to reduce pigmentation, but I have not been disappointed. I chose this moisturiser when using my rewards room points, and I am glad I did. I have been using it since receiving it last year 2021 and have definitely seen a change in my skin, my brown age spots are much lighter and not only that, my skin looks luminous. The only reason I did not give five stars is because I think the packaging is somewhat wasteful and deceptive. It appears at first glance at the package, to be a large amount of moisturiser, however once the lid is removed there is a second container inside the outside container. Although I can see from the box it came in that it contains 50g of product, it does appear wasteful to the environment, to make the packaging excessively and unnecessarily big.

I love the fact that the the Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Night Cream is natural, and not tested on animals. That's a major plus. However this night cream leaves me feeling a bit underwhelmed, it is watery and more like a runny lotion. It does have a pleasant scent which I enjoy, however after applying to my face at night, my hands are left with a sticky feeling which I am not keen on.

I bought a pair of Manicare X Aje Mini Tweezers quite some while ago, and still use them very regularly, definitely a great investment! There's nothing worse, (well not an ideal scenario anyway) when you're out in the car or washing your hands in a public toilet then looking the mirror notice a prominent hair on your chin... what is that thing doing there, eek! Thank goodness I sigh with relief I always carry my Manicare X Aje Mini Tweezers! Unlike certain tweezers, these ones always work well at grabbing a hair. They are tiny enough to take with you, without being ineffectual.

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist is definitely a refreshing burst of beautifully scented rosewater, pleasant to use during hot weather or when your skin is feeling a little dry or tired. I have previously bought this product when it came in a different bottle and I must say the mist was much finer from that one. I am not sure if I got a faulty nozzle on my new bottle but the mist was more of a spray which made my face quite wet, which I hadn't expected.

I bought a Plunkett's Hi-Potency Aloe Vera Facial Mask as a treat for myself when I needed a pick me up, both my skin and also mentally needing relaxation. It was a good choice for both, as the experience is as soothing and hydrating as one would expect from a Plunkett's product, easy to apply and is more enjoyable when resting for 15 minutes. The organic Aloe leaf juice is extremely cooling and comforting. I love how quickly it works, convenient and effective self care within my reach at home, I will be buying more.

Shea Moisture Purple Rice Water with Wild Orchid and Sweet Violet Extract Strength + Color Care Masque, is more than a mouthful to say, but so easy to use! It comes in an appealing attractive tub with a purple and gold label which looks nice in my bathroom. The lid is easy to open. The scent is a surprise... I expected it may smell quite strong, but it has a sweet and delicate scent. It was easy to apply to my wet hair in the shower, and then rinse out. My hair was left feeling silky smooth. I noticed when my hair was dry, it definitely looked so much better, quite radiant, and my husband actually asked if I had been to the hairdresser! As I have blonde hair I sometimes experience a brassy look from the colour I use, but this masque seems to have balanced the colour, brightened my hair, and left it leaving it looking so healthy and soft. I was also so pleased to read that the sale of this product also helps disadvantaged women.

Dermaveen Extra Hydration Intensive Moisturising Lotion, is definitely another high performing Dermaveen product. I am a long time fan of many of Dermaveen's products including moisturisers and body washes. In terms of quality and ease of use, this product is no exception. It is packaged in a pump pack. It did take a fair bit of pumping before something came out, but it was worth the wait and once it starts working it is then easy to dispense the lotion. The lotion is the colour of oatmeal and a good consistency, not too liquidy as I have found with some body lotions I've tried. The lotion has a creamy feel and although quite thick, absorbs readily into my skin. Being absorbed quickly, there is no need to keep rubbing it in which sometimes happens with body moisturisers. The oatmeal gives the lotion a pleasing earthy scent. It is very comforting once applied. The oatmeal is a welcome addition in this lotion being extremely soothing. .It definitely reduces the dryness and itchiness which I tend to experience especially in cooler weather. I have noticed a huge improvement to my itchiest skin areas in the relatively short period of time I have been using this lotion regularly.  Since using this body lotion my skin has been noticeably softer, smoother and calmer. I have had a problem with contact dermatitis on my hands which flared up recently due to stress. After using this lotion on my hands, it quickly got the flare up under control.
