I was excited to try the JUSTICE Professional Marine Beauty Scalp Scrub as part of the Best in Beauty awards event, as I like the idea of exfoliating the scalp. However, I found the consistency of this product so dehydrating on my scalp and hair. This was just not a good fit for me. I used it as directed, but found this was difficult to wash out. My hair is highlighted and quite dry and this product further dehydrated my stressed strands. I felt this product would serve my dry hair better if there were more oil added to the product. As this was so drying to my hair and scalp, I will not use this again.

I was so uncertain about the Maybelline New York Lifter Stix. I am usually a huge fan of a multitasking product, but this just did not work for me. I loved the wind-up packaging as it would be a reliable tube for travel. I also really loved the creamy consistency of the product, which I am sure is the impact of the cranberry seed oil. However, I just could not get this to sit on my skin in a way I was happy with. I tried to use this as a highlighter, as a contour and I even mixed this with moisturiser to create a hydrated foundation. This one was just not for me.

I was not expecting to fall in love with this serum. As someone with highly dehydrated skin, I have tried so many different serums and find that they always seem to be tacky or gooey or they just sit on my skin. But I was so impressed to try Clinique's moisture surge active glow serum as part of the Best in Beauty event. I have tried Clinique's eye cream and Moisture Surge Face Cream, but this was a great opportunity to trial the Serum. My skin just drank up this serum, and I feel my skin condition definitely brightened up. I use two pumps for my face and declotage, and this felt so hydrated on contact. I will purchase this again.

This is a great find. I love that the packaging is so simple. My Dad would buy this due to being able to see it is for tough hands. I was so surprised by how effective this hand cream was at soothing my hands and cuticles. I do have dry hands that are dehydrated and in need of thirst-quenching. I slathered the rich hand cream on my hands and forearms at night and let the repair cream work its wonder on my skin overnight. I will continue to do this as part of my bedtime routine. This tube is never-ending. It is such great value for its size. Money well spent with visible results.

I am so in love with this packaging. Small, compact and lightweight with a tight lid for travel safety. I received this Nude by Nature dewy serum blush drops at the Best in Beauty Awards. I played around with building the colour of the 01 Petal Pink that I received. I am quite pale, so I was not sure if this would suit my skin tone, but with buildability, I found I could control the depth of colour. As I have very dry skin, this liquid was most suitable. I thought my skin would drink this up and it would vanish; however, I feel the sunflower seed oil hydrated my cheek area and sat nicely on my skin without disappearing and leaving a cheeky little blush glow.

Everything Burts Bees touches turns to gold in my opinion, and this tinted lip balm does not disappoint. With all Burt's Bees lip balms, the shea butter and botanical waxes get to work quickly. Lips are hydrated and softened in no time, calming flakes and settling scuffing. The natural tint colour of the Red Dahlia is soft and mild. While the balm in the tube does look darker, the coloured tints glide on to provide a sweep of colour that hydrates and calms sensitive and dry lips. I now keep this one in my handbag, ready for a soothing swipe when needed.

This is such a sleek design, lightweight weight and stylish. This powerful motor pumps out a good flow of air to quickly dry the hair without feeling like you are blowing away. There are so many heat and speed combinations as advertised that you are sure to find your favourite setting. My hair is quite thick, and it usually takes some time to dry my hair to the root, yet the Remington AIRvive™ Digital Hair Dryer got to work in no time. I love that I have such control over the temperature. I found the drying effect did not disappoint on a cooler setting either. Remington, you have not disappointed.

What a great styling wand. I am so impressed that I have the power to control if I want to use this on wet or dry hair...... And I tried it on both. I actually have very straight hair, but this air styler just allows for that polished finish. I am impressed that I just need a small amount of heat protection product. I prefer to use it on wet hair as I find it tames my smaller, finer hairs that like to bounce around. I am able to calm the strays and have them behave. These styling plates gently dry and control the flyaways. I also love the safety features of the extra-long cord and the safety switch-off. Impressed!

How on earth did I not know about this miracle night cream earlier? I am so pleased this nighttime face repair was created to complement the daytime face cream. This is just a Godsend. I am so impressed that this nighttime face cream is not greasy; rather, it glides on and just soaks in. I was a little worried about the fragrance, and while I prefer unfragranced face creams, this does disperse quickly. I have no idea how a favce cream can exfoliate and hydrate at the same time, but this dermal night cream is my new nighttime friend- who doesn't love a hard-working multitasker? As advertised, this is a hardworking little night cream that packs a punch for hydration.

This is the OG and the best. With nothing but caring, hydrating ingredients, this will be both your winter and summer go-to for your frazzled lips. The tapered design of the tube allows for easy storage in your bag, glove box or desk. The cap securely tightens and loosens, and the applicator slant makes for easy lip application. This balm is smooth in texture, not waxy like most balms. It glides across the lips and has good lasting power to hydrate lips, no need for sudden application. You will not go back after trying this lip balm. The unfragranced, uncoloured balm is every girl's must-have.
