This product is called a serum, but it’s really what I would call an intensive conditioner. I thought it was going to be a leave in product, but it is to be used in the place of your usual conditioner. It comes in a flip top tube and the product is a little runnier than my usual conditioner. It has a pleasant fragrance and applies reasonably easily, although I do feel like I need to use a lot of it because it’s not very thick. I use it instead of my regular conditioner and I find that it does leave my hair feeling lovely and soft, but I haven’t noticed a remarkable difference from when I use my regular conditioner. I will finish the tube off, but I won’t repurchase.

This conditioner is a lovely thick white cream that really clings to my hair as I distribute it though the ends. I don’t need to use very much, it does go a long way and spreads through my hair easily. I can feel how smooth it makes my hair feel immediately after use and as my hair dries I can feel how soft it is. I’ve noticed that I have less knots since I started using it. I love the fresh scent. This brand is a supermarket brand and I will probably repurchase it when it’s on a half price special.

The shampoo is a thick, creamy white liquid. A little goes a long way, it foams up very well, but rinses off cleanly. It has a nice fresh scent, not too overpowering and suitable for men and women. The flip top lid is easy to both open and close. I did find that as the bottle got emptier the thickness of the shampoo made it a little harder to get out. I have fine hair prone to frizz and dryness and after using this for a couple of weeks in conjunction with the matching conditioner and serum, my hair is feeling much softer with less frizz. I will continue to use this product and might even buy it again. It is a supermarket shampoo that is often on half price special, making it an economical option.

This brush is a paddle brush, with firm rounded bristles. The bristles are wide spaced, which I found a bit awkward when trying to use it to pull my hair back into a pony tail. The spaces between the bristles made it hard to get a sleek, smooth finish. The firmness of the bristles makes for a really nice head massage though and it powers through any tangles. I did feel like the handle was a little short. I don’t think my hands are large, yet I found the handle felt too short and I sometimes found it hard to grip securely. This brush is made from maple wood and Lady Jayne says this wood is durable and resistant to bacteria. I found it to be visually appealing and it felt solid, without being heavy.

This is an interesting product – the instructions say to use it on wet hair in circular motions while your shampoo is in your hair. I tried it an found it a bit awkward to use as I felt like it was just knotting my hair up. I tried to use it with conditioner instead, which felt a little better. Lady Jayne also say you can use it on dry hair, so I tried using it before I washed my hair and I preferred using it this way. The silicone tips give a nice massage, they are firmer than I thought they would be. The handle is easy to hold. After using for a few weeks, I have liked the feeling of it, nothing better than a nice scalp massage!

This product claims to remove body hair quickly, easily and painlessly. It essentially buffs away the hair. I didn’t really find it quick, easy or painless. It is designed to reach every part of your body with ease. I found it awkward to use on areas that weren’t flat – any contoured area (knees, ankles etc) was really difficult for me to make enough contact with to remove hair. It was a really time consuming way to remove hair for me. I had to go over the same area repeatedly and honestly, it took way too long to do. Compared to shaving, epilating or waxing, it was a much longer process. I also found that because I had to go over the same areas repeatedly, it did start to make my skin tender. Not painful, as such, but not great. The advantage over other hair removal methods is probably that you can do it on dry skin (no need to jump in the shower) so you can do it at any time. However, the instructions recommend to use on dry skin after a shower, whereas I would prefer to shower afterwards to wash away the removed hair. This concept may not bother other people. The lack of a storage bag bothers me. The instructions say to “store in the packaging provided”. The packaging provided is the box it comes in, with a cardboard insert. I didn’t find it a good way to store it. I would have preferred a better box or a fabric bag.

These gloves are great! They fit well, are easy to get on and stay on while using. They are also easy to rinse clean after use. I used them in conjunction with my favourite body wash and I found that they foamed up well. They are made from 100% recycled polyester and are infused with anti-bacterial and mould resistant fibres, which claim to reduce bacterial spread for better hygiene. I don’t know how scientifically accurate these claims are, but they sound good to me. The gloves are seriously exfoliating, very little pressure is required to get silky smooth skin. As they are gloves, they are super easy to use and get a thorough exfoliation. I will definitely continue to use these and would recommend them to anyone looking for a no nonsense manually exfoliating product.

The sponge side has a piece of fabric to hold your hand in place when using the exfoliating side. This is good for when you are exfoliating, not so practical if you want to use the sponge side. I also found it was a bit rigid to conform to my skin, making exfoliating all my limbs a slow process. It is made from 100% recycled polyester and is infused with antibacterial and mould resistant fibres to reduce bacterial spread. This is a nice feature. I probably wouldn’t purchase this product.
