I have been gifted this product as a part of a trial team. I have long thick curly hair and have used bed head products in the past with great success. On hair wash day I was very happy with the product, it was easy to apply and once dry I had defined curls that looked hydrated and healthy. My curls didn’t fall or frizz during the first day either which was great. However on subsequent days I wasn’t as pleased which has left me torn. My hair needs to be brushed everyday or my hair goes wild and knotty, but I also cannot dry brush or my hair will frizz up. I would usually use a spray bottle to lightly dampen, brush, and then recurl with my fingers however using this method makes the product go sticky like a hair gel or hair spray and it doesn’t quite set properly again leaving the curls kind of sticky, and yet somehow also kind of hard and crunchy. I’ve tried applying less the next time I washed my hair, and even with very minimal product still happened the following days until washed out. Overall, if I had an event to go to or something I wanted to look good for on the day, I would definitely reach for this product. But it’s not something I would use all the time as an everyday product because I want everyday to be a good hair day, not just wash day.

I was lucky enough to receive this product to trial, I was initially very excited for this moisturiser because I’ve used some great La Roche Posay products in the past, however I wasn’t prepared for how impressed I would be with this product. I have very sensitive skin which is also prone to hormonal acne, being almost 30 years old and still breaking out when my period comes is unfortunate to say the least, most acne products aren’t suitable as they aggravate my skin. This moisturiser has little to no scent and didn’t aggravate my sensitive skin at all. It was super refreshing and moisturising on my skin, leaving the skin feeling very soft and refreshed. It worked great under makeup and also made for a great primer- it wasn’t greasy at all. Most importantly, after using for a few weeks my skin is so clear! Pimples that have dared to surface have cleared up much faster than usual, and I’ve had less pimples overall. My skin is looking flawless and clear, while it also feels super soft and comfortable. I am excited to continue to use this product after the trial, as it really has done everything promised and I am left very happy with the results. I do recommend this product to anyone who needs a moisturiser that is suitable for sensitive skin, and works wonders on reducing acne.

I have been using this stretch mark oil to prevent and reduce the appearance of stretch marks since the beginning of my pregnancy, twice daily in the morning and at night. I have found the oil has a lovely subtle smell which is really natural, and the oil absorbs into the skin really nicely. I haven’t had any worries about pesky itchy skin that many pregnant women complain of, and I feel like my skin has stayed really nicely hydrated. Unfortunately though, even with regular use and a few bottles of oil down I have been still plagued with nasty red stripes on my stomach and sides. It definitely isn’t a miracle oil, and unfortunately hasn’t prevented or reduced the appearance of my stretch marks, but I do still feel like this oil has been helpful in keeping my tummy hydrated and I will continue to use it to see if it will help fade these marks over time once bub is delivered.

I bought this massage oil to help massage and stretch my perineal area before labour, in hope to reduce tearing. Contrary to a previous review i did find there was a scent to this oil, but it was a natural and very subtle smell very similar to the stretch mark body oil. Massaging the area can be a bit uncomfortable and this was a nice thing to have to make it a bit easier. Unfortunately I won’t know if it’s worked or not as in the final stages of my pregnancy I have been now recommended to have a cesarean.

I must admit I ummed and ahhed about this purchase at the time about whether or not I should buy it. The price point is very high compared to a lot of other equally lovely candle companies- especially with the already insane cost of living. But this was like a little Christmas present to myself and it is lovely. The packaging is so cute and festive. Don’t even get me started on the gingerbread smell, it’s the perfect punch of gingerbread without being too strong. The smell just reminds me of Christmas. Overall I love this candle and would recommend.

I use Rimmel lasting finish fix and go setting spray, so far a bottle has lasted me over 6 months so you definitely get a good amount of product in the bottle. The spray itself is a fine mist which doesn’t smudge makeup, and has minimal smell which is perfect. I love that it feels cool and refreshing on my skin and makes me feel finished and ready to tackle the day. Giving three stars though because honestly, there has been no difference between how my makeup lasts when i use it and when I don’t. I don’t think this is a necessary item, and don’t know if it even works. However it’s nice to have, and does feel nice and refreshing.

Firstly I really like the package of this product. It’s bright and bubbly and environmentally friendly! The soft plastic squeeze pack is much better for the environment then a hard plastic tube package, using less plastic and causing less waste (also it looks like a squeeze yoghurt package). The mask was a nice consistency, only needed to be on the skin for a short 3-5 minutes and gave the skin a slight tingling sensation so you know it’s working. The whole package has a fair 4-5 applications inside the package which I do like so your product doesn’t go out of date by the time you get to use it all. As much as I do enjoy a good clay mask I didn’t notice any improvement to the texture or feel of my skin when using this product, on the upside my skin didn’t have any sensitivity problems when using this mask as it did for some of the other products in Biores new range. I did quite enjoy this product, however I would have liked to see some kind of improvement to my skin such as the texture, feel or look of the skin after using it.

The Biore exfoliator came in super cute, bright and happy packaging which really catches the eye. It’s a really nice gentle scrub and is not overly harsh on the skin, providing a gentle exfoliation. I did feel like I needed this product to help rinse off the film left behind by the cleanser. I did enjoy this product, it had a gentle scent and a gentle exfoliation, however after using the biore range for a few days (with no other change to my skincare routine or diet) my face broke out in little tiny bumps, after stopping using the biore products my skin went back to normal within a few days. I am unsure exactly whether it was the cleanser, the exfoliator or both that caused this reaction however unfortunately due to the reaction I cannot continue to use the product. However I do recognise that not everyone’s skin is like mine, and other people may not have this same experience with this product nor react in the same way that mine did to this product.

The Biore Yuzu lemon and ginseng brightening jelly cleanser on first impressions is super cute, I loved the bright and happy packaging and the easy squeeze tube with lid perfect for travelling and on the go. Upon using the cleanser however the jelly cleanser doesn’t foam and almost feels quite thick and goopy on the skin, it didn’t leave my skin feeling refreshed and clean at all. A few days after using this product my whole face broke out in little tiny bumps, the only thing that had changed in my skincare routine and diet was the biore range. Since stopping using this product my skin has returned to being clear and soft. As much as I liked the packaging I didn’t like the consistency of the product, how it left my skin feeling after cleansing or the reaction that my skin had to the product so unfortunately I cannot keep using this product, and wouldn’t purchase it for myself. However not everyone will have the same reaction that I had and I acknowledge that other people may have a much better experience with this product then myself.
