I think these NYX Professional Makeup Foil Play Cream Eyeshadows have been discontinued. This cream eyeshadow had a different texture to most cream eyeshadows and had a wet, almost putty-like consistency. There was a time where this texture seemed all the rage but it's basically disappeared. The finish was rich and foiled, it was incredibly metallic and reflective. Unfortunately, I could never get a smooth and opaque application, likely because I didn't have a huge amount of space on my eyelid. Instead, it worked best to tap on a small amount on the centre of my lids or inner corners of my eyes for a really bright spotlight effect.

These NYX Professional Makeup Glitter Goals Liquid Eyeshadows have now been discontinued. I picked up the shade "Polished Pin Up" a while a go and it's a soft light gold. These dry down very quickly and have extremely good staying power. The best part was that I could get the look of glitter without the mess of glitter glue and loose glitter. The formular isn't extremely pigmented but they are packed with glitter. It can be built up to full opacity but you can definitely feel the glitter on your eyelids. I found the best way to use this was to apply it to the back on my hand and pat it on my eyelids with a brush or finger for a more scattered look.

I have generally enjoyed Essano products in the past and picked this micellar water up on a whim at the supermarket while travelling. My curiosity got the better of me and I was sold on the packaging. The cap makes it super easy to use with a cotton round, quickly wetting them for use. It's really gentle and hydrating on the skin but removes makeup fairly effectively. It's not quite strong enough for waterproof mascara but that's not what I expect from micellar water. It left my skin feeling clean but not tight or sticky.

I love a full coverage concealer, especially because I have dark circles. It's difficult to find one that offers coverage without feeling heavy or looking cakey but this one fits the bill! I love that this concealer has full coverage but blends into the skin without looking crepey or conspicuous. It lasts all days without flaking or bunching up in my fine lines. It's also great for spot concealing if you can find the perfect shade. The doe foot applicator is huge and deposits way too much product for me. So I generally use a small brush to pick up product and another to blend.

I love the Burt's Bees lip balms and can never pass up getting a new flavour when they go on special. As usual, the Burt's Bees lip balms glide on without feeling too heavy or greasy. Despite this they have surprisingly long lasting power and keep my lips moisturised. It keeps my lips from feeling dry or chapped and is a quick remedy on the go. The cherry scent is lovely and not too strong, I really enjoyed it. It seems like I always have one of these lip balms on me or within arms reach. I'm really happy to make this addition to the collection.

I really enjoy the Burts Bees lip balms and can't stop myself picking up a new scent, especially if they're on sale. The passionfruit flavour, like all Burts Bees lip balms is deeply moisturising and lasts on the lips to prevent chapped and dry lips. The passionfruit is sweet and fruity without being overpowering and is a hint of summer in the depths of winter. This lip blam is a staple and is ever present in my handbag or strewn around the house. I absolutely love these and don't mind adding another to the collection!

I have dry skin and I'm always on the lookout for a hydrating and moisturising night cream, especially in winter. I really enjoyed using this product, it felt thick and luxurious but sank into my skin quickly without feeling heavy or greasy. Because it's winter and my skin has been particularly dry and sensitive, I followed up with an occlusive layer to lock in the hydration but I don't think this would be necessary in the warmer months. In the morning my skin felt soft and supple. I'll be keeping this night cream in my routine!

I have dry and sensitive skin and use hyaluronic acid every night so it was easy to integrate this into my skin care routine. I really loved using this product. For best results like many hyaluronic acid product, I applied it on damp skin before apply moisturiser and heavier products. The formula is a gel-like serum and was light weight. It glided over damp skin and sank in almost right away leaving my skin looking and feeling dewy and hydrated. It does leave the skin with a slightly tacky finish but it doesn't bother me as I almost immediately layer on a moisturiser and occlusive layer - the joys of having dry skin in winter.

I enjoyed using this product and used it in place of my normal heat protectant. It comes in a cute spray bottle and it really easy to spray directly onto hair without having to fuss with droppers or pump bottles. I find many heat protectants need you to comb the product through the hair to evening distribute them so I was happy to avoid an extra step. The oils left my hair looking sleek and smooth without weighing it down or looking greasy. Admittedly I don't have to deal with much frizz so I can't speak to how effective it was with dealing with humidity. I was happy with this product and will be keeping it in my rotation.

I don't wear false lashes very often because I find them finicky to apply and can tend to look a bit too heavy. I don't have much lid space with slightly hooded eyes and feel like sometimes false eyelashes will take over my whole look. These were really easy to apply and could be trimmed down to the perfect length without looking weird. The band was quite flexible and comfortable on my eyes, lasting all day without lifting or poking. I love that these are reusable and they'll make an appearance the next time I have a special occasion or event.
