I was thrilled to be chosen to take part in the trial team for this product and to receive such a large pump bottle. I love the pump bottle – it makes it so much easier to dispense the conditioner. I have used the conditioner with the matching shampoo for great results. I have actually enjoyed this shampoo and conditioner more than I had anticipated. My hair is naturally frizzy and coarse, but this conditioner has made it feel noticeably softer and smoother, and my hair looks shinier and is much more manageable. I think this conditioner is excellent value for money, particularly given the size of the pump bottle. I would definitely recommend this conditioner to anyone hoping for soft, shiny, manageable hair at low cost.

The Olay Regenerist Whip active moisturiser comes in a very stylish silver and red box, with a very elegant silver and red tub inside. The top of the tub has a cool design I have not previously seen. It feels quite luxurious, which matches the price of almost $50 for a 50g tub. I have used this moisturiser both in the morning and at night after cleansing and I love the way it feels. It is the lightest moisturiser I have ever used. You only need to use a very small amount, as the moisturiser glides across the skin so easily and is swiftly absorbed. It feels just like it says on the box - as though it has been whipped like whipped cream! It is weightless and not at all greasy. For this reason, it works really well as a primer under make up, and creates a lovely light, matte look, which lasts quite well. I also like the clean, fresh smell of the moisturiser, which is also quite light. I haven't yet seen the other advertised effects of reduced wrinkles, but I love the feel of the moisturiser so much that I will continue using it and I look forward to seeing the impact on my skin of longer term use.

I love Trilogy as a brand. I like what they stand for and the ingredients they use. And I always love the sound of a firming body lotion! This Firming Body Lotion comes in a convenient pump bottle and has a lovely garden fresh fragrance. The lotion is thick but not overly so. It is not greasy and absorbs well. This moisturiser feels hydrating but I haven't seen a huge difference in the firmness of my skin since using it. I also find that the caffeine in the lotion gives my skin a buzzing sort of feeling, which is not entirely pleasant. My skin is particularly sensitive, so this may not be problematic for others. For this reason, though, I probably won't purchase this lotion again.

I love hydrating mists and I love Jurlique products, so I was over the moon to be included in the trial team for the Jurlique Lavender Hydrating Mist. I am actually surprised not to be scoring it 5 stars, but unfortunately it did not live up to my high expectations. I like the packaging of this product, which is in subdued, pale lavender hues. The box states that it is "a lightweight mist" which can even be used over makeup. The spray bottle itself is also very lovely, with rose gold tints. Although I love the look of it, I do find the gold printing a bit difficult to read. Hydrating mists I have used previously seem to have created a very fine mist across the expanse of my face, which feels really lovely, and means that you don't have to spread it out or rub it in. By contrast, the Jurlique Lavender Hydrating Mist is more of a spray than a mist. It has quite a powerful spray which sprays on to the skin in large droplets, leaving the skin in the area sprayed feeling very wet. I actually need to spray on each side of my face to cover the whole face and then need to spread out the droplets across my face. I found this quite disappointing, as it detracts from the experience of being able to spray a mist on to the face with one pump and also does not permit using the spray over makeup, as it's too strong and washes away the makeup. It is possible that these concerns are the fault of the bottle design itself, which perhaps Jurlique could improve upon. If the spray were more of a lightweight mist, which could be used over makeup for hydration during the course of the day, then I would be more inclined to give this product 4 or 5 stars. The spray does feel hydrating on the skin, but I didn't see any improvement in my skin's overall hydration whilst using it. I also found the scent to be almost overpowering, however it dissipates pretty quickly, and is generally a very soothing lavender fragrance.

I was very pleased to receive my trial Dermaveen Oatmeal Conditioner. I couldn't believe my luck to find that I'd received a huge one litre pump bottle of it!! The design of the conditioner bottle is very minimalist, with a predominantly white and green bottom and a green pump. It is attractive, but subtle and earthy, in keeping with its natural credentials. To be honest, a 1L bottle is actually a bit too big for my bathroom, so I've had to leave the bottle outside the shower, which is a bit inconvenient. A 500 or even 750mL bottle would be preferable for me, with our small shower cubicle. I really like that this conditioner is made from natural oatmeal. This means that it's good for my sensitive scalp, and I also feel comfortable using it on my toddler and knowing that she won't get soap in her eyes. It is largely fragrance free too, as well as being free from other nasties like parabens and alcohol. I generally have flaky, sensitive scalp, particularly at this time of year when the weather is getting colder. This oatmeal conditioner and its accompanying shampoo really soothe my scalp, and my scalp has not been itchy since using them. It is still a bit flaky, but doesn't feel as irritated. Unfortunately, I don't feel as though this conditioner is as nourishing or hydrating as the conditioners I ordinarily use, so my hair has felt and looked a bit brittle, with lots of fly aways, since using it. It is mainly for this reason that I don't think I'd buy this conditioner again. I loved the effect on my scalp, but not on my hair.

I really like the appearance of this body oil, and I loved its promise of firmer, more even-looking skin. I also really like the fragrance of the oil, which I think comes from the lovely avocado and macadamia oils. I had very high hopes, but I wasn't thrilled with this body oil. It is extremely runny, so it runs very quickly out of the container. It should really come in a pump dispenser as it is very difficult to dispense an appropriate amount. I also found the oil to sit on the skin and not absorb very quickly, leaving me feeling a bit greasy until it absorbs. I haven't seen any huge improvements in the firmness of my skin since using this body oil. It does smell and feel nice though!

I recently received a tube of John Plunkett Vita E Oil with my Beautorium order. I've never used a product quite like this before. The oil comes in a 25mL tube with a nozzle and a screw on lid, which makes application very straightforward. The packaging is attractive and very informative. I really appreciate how clearly the packaging outlines the uses to which this oil can be point, while also highlighting its benefits like that it contains no mineral oil or parabens and is fragrance free. I have never used pure vitamin E oil before, so was surprised by how highly concentrated, thick and sticky this oil was. I applied it on my face under my moisturiser for the purposes of protecting and nourishing my skin. However, given its thickness, I found it quite difficult to spread on my face. I also didn't find that the oil was quickly absorbed into my skin - it felt as though it sat on top of my skin. I have noticed that a lot of other reviewers on this page have had success when applying this oil to scars or other blemishes, or when seeking to nourish a particularly dry section of skin. I think I might save my John Plunkett Vita E Oil for use on such occasions for restoring and nourishing my skin when it's really in need.

I have previously used Dermaveen products, so was very pleased to be part of the trial team for this Extra Gentle Soap Free Wash. I have used this cleansing wash for both myself in the shower and for my 11 month old daughter in her baths. I feel confident using this wash for both myself and my daughter due to its soap free composition of natural oatmeal, free of sulphates, lanolin, parabens, artificial dyes, and alcohol. The wash is clear and has no fragrance. It is designed for sensitive skin and really does leave my skin feeling soothed and refreshed. I use the wash all over my body. I don't find it lathers very well, as it is quite runny. My preference would be for a slightly thicker wash. This is particularly so because the bottle has a snap top lid, which means you have to turn the bottle upside down to release the wash, and on numerous occasions, a lot more product has escaped from the snap top lid into my daughter's bath than I had intended! My preference would be a pump bottle, which is easier to use, particularly with runny products. I have used the Dermaveen Extra Gentle Intensive Moisturising Cream in conjunction with this body wash, and felt as though my skin remained soothed and protected all day long.
