My hair had been coloured too many times; then I tried permanent straightening. To be sure, the damage seemed irreversible. Redken was out of my price range. So when I saw this shampoo in the US at a terrific price, I decided to give it a try. The difference was instantaneous. My hair became softer and more manageable, it looked good after being in a straw like condition for so long. My teenage daughter decided to pamper herself with Mum’s products and was amazed at the results on her hair.

This product lives up to it's claims. I have not used a leave in conditioner prior to this and bought this after seeing it on half price at Priceline. I had been to purchase the hair masque in the same brand, but ( as is almost always the case) , that product was sold out, and saw this product and decided to give it a try. Well, that was a good decision. It moisturises and nourishes the hair, making it soft and manageable. I have used it on wet hair and it tamed my frizz and dry hair. It might be too heavy for fine hair though. I also used it on dry hair and left it on for about 15 minutes prior to showering. The results were most effective and pleasing. It is a vegan brand and I highly recommend it.

The product did not warm in 15 seconds as required, it actually took over a minute for the full pot to melt. The theory is great and sounds simple, the process anything but!!! It was thick, did not spread on thinly , and was terribly time consuming to use. The plastic applicator is impractical and messy! Pulled off most of my leg hair but not the face hair. It’s only redeeming quality is that it’s water soluble, so wiped off easily with a wet face washer. I bought this to take on my travels as my hair grows very quickly. But as it was not effective and practical to use, did not bother packing it.

I have tough, thick hair that grows quicker than you can say ‘Jack!’ It’s a bother and great expense to visit the salon as frequently as I require, and I find it way too time consuming to wax my legs. I love travelling, and so I have a big problem trying to keep smooth, while travelling and not having the time to wax or being able to carry a wax heater abroad. My daughter gave me this product to try and I was very sceptical as no other wax strips had ever worked for me. This one does and is now a must have in my travel kit. The exfoliating side is pointless though, as other reviewers indicated. It serves no purpose, and is a major irritant when trying to warm the strips between the palms. I am not aware if facial size is available, and just cut off small strips to use on my upper lip; chin etc. I haven’t been able to find it recently though, and hope it’s not been discontinued.

I received this as sample from Beauty Heaven. I have difficulty in finding suitable day moisturisers as my skin gets too oily in Summer & too dry in winter, so I usually have different products. I have used this during Winter & find that it makes my skin feel soft and moisturised without a heavy , greasy feeling. I was not impressed with the scent though, it smells as though it's past the expiry date, though I have no way of knowing as the product did not have an expiry date. I went on holiday to the Northern hemisphere [Summer time there] and was not happy with the product's performance in the heat.
