I love using the Lady Jane paddle brush. It fits so comfortably in my hand and glides so effortlessly though my hair. The brush helps to detangle my long hair whilst being so soft, soothing and gentle on my skull. I have an injury to the back of my scalp (under my hair), where the skin has become thin and sensitive, and so it is important to me that my brushes not cause me pain whilst I am brushing my hair. My hair looks so soft, shiny and smooth after using this brush. The Lady Jane Pro Rechargeable 2 in 1 styler is an extremely convenient and versatile tool that is easy to use and handy to carry around without worrying about any cords. The styling tool features floating ceramic plates and curved barrels, allowing me to effortlessly either straighten my hair or to achieve bouncy curls. I prefer to straighten my hair most days, which is the purpose that I use this styler for the most. There are 3 heat seatings to choose from depending on your hair type. The three settings are suited for delicate (160°C), fine (180°C), and normal (200°C) hair types. I used the normal setting the most to help straighten my hair. The styler takes about 3 hours to charge the first time, so it does take a while before you can start to use it to style your hair. After every use, it is advisable to fully charge the styler to ensure it is always ready for on-the-go styling. This way the styler will only need to take up to 5 minutes to preheat, so that there is no need to wait long. The styler comes with a USB-C charging cable. The styler has a flat base making it convenient to sit upright, when it is not on charge. This makes it convenient to grab and style your hair and not have to worry about getting tangled up in any messy cords getting in your way. The USB cable also plugs into this flat base, which is the only feature that I wasn’t too fond of. I would have preferred if the USB charging port was on the side of the styler base, near the bottom, instead of the charging port being located on the flat base. Having the charging port on the flat base prevents me from being able to keep the hair styler upright, and on the flat base, whilst it is charging. This would have been more convenient and could have helped to save space. This small detail is the only reason why I took one star off, as I really would have loved to be able to keep the hair styling tool upright whilst charging. Otherwise I would have given this styler 5 stars. Other than that one slight concern, I found this cordless hair styler easy to use and works really well. The styler comes with a velvet pouch making it convenient to protect the styling tool when it is not in use, and handy to just grab and go when traveling.

I thoroughly enjoyed trialling the DermaVeen Daily Nourish Sun Sensitive SPF50+ with Body Moisturiser. This sunscreen is fragrance free, free from other common irritants and dermatologically tested, so it is ideal for sensitive skin like mine. This sunscreen can be applied to both your face and your body. I findd the texture of the cream to be lightweight, non-greasy and absorbs easily into my skin without leaving any white streaks, like other sunscreens can. The white, soft, creamy texture makes it a pleasure to apply as it leaves my skin feeling soft, silky smooth and feeling pampered. After applying the cream, my skin feels nicely hydrated and moisturised. I don’t leave my home without applying a sunscreen, so with the added bonus of spf50+ uva and uvb sun protection, I find the Dermaveen Daily Nourish Body Moisturiser SPF50+ to be the perfect sunscreen/ moisturiser for me to use daily. It has become a staple in my daily routine and I recommend it to all my family and friends.

The BOOST LAB 2-D Hyaluronic Acid Hydro BOOST serum comes packaged in a white box, which contains a glass bottle with a dropper in the lid that lets you apply the serum onto your skin, easily and hygienically. The serum is quite concentrated so only a few drops are needed, as a little goes a long way. The serum feels silky smooth when applying it, and absorbs quickly penetrating deeply into the skin like a dream. I absolutely love this serum as it gives very quick results. I apply this serum every morning after cleansing my face, and before applying my sunscreen and usual daily routine. After a few days I can definitely see much improvement to the deep set lines around my mouth and eyes, as they are now so much shallower and much less pronounced. Over all my skin looks far healthier and more radiant and this serum has done wonders to plump out the lines on my face, making my skin look smoother and younger.

The Glow Lab Rosehip Oil Plus, comes packaged in a white box, which contains a glass bottle with a dropper in the lid that lets you apply the oil onto your skin, easily and hygienically. Being an oil means only a small amount, only two to three drops is needed, as a little goes a long way. I have combination skin so my skin can look both really dry and oily at the same time, so I love applying this oil at night time to deeply absorb into my skin and hydrate it to look healthier and more nourished, come time to wake up in the morning. While the oil absorbs into the skin quickly, my combination skin means any oil can leave the T zone on my face looking a bit too ‘shiny’ and oily looking, so I prefer to wear this oil only at night time. After a few weeks I can definitely see much improvement to the deep set lines around my mouth and eyes as they are now shallower and much less pronounced. Over all my skin looks far healthier and radiant and this oil has done wonders to plump out the lines on my skin making it look smoother and younger.

The OGX Extra Strength Hydrate & Repair Argan Oil of Morocco Hydrate Mask comes in a cylindrical light blue tub with a twist top lid which makes the packaging easy and convenient. When you open the lid, you are greeted with the heavenly aroma of a luxuriously thick cream that is easy to apply. The thick consistency which makes it easier for the mask, to stay on my hair for a few minutes until I wash it off. A little bit of the product goes a long way, so there is no need to plod a lot of the mask on your hair, to get good coverage. Since having my dark hair coloured blonde my hair has been rather dry and frizzy, so this mask has been a god send as it hydrates my hair, making it feel smoother and silkier without weighing it down. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone that has dry or frizzy hair and in need of hydration.

Nature’s Way Rosehip Collagen Gummies come in a clear plastic tub with a twist top lid which makes the packaging easy and convenient. The gummies are sugar free and look and taste like yummy little raspberry lollies. It is recommended you chew two gummies a day, and so it is hard to resist having any more than this, but also a good exercise in portion control! Each yummy gummy contains rosehip plus hydrolysed collagen with the plant-based botanical acerola that is rich in vitamin C for healthy glowing skin. I prefer the gummies to regular vitamins as its more fun to eat a gummy than to just swallow a whole tablet with a glass of water. After a few weeks I have definitely noticed that my skin is looking a lot healthier in both colour and texture. My skin looks and feels better which makes me feel much more confident in myself.

The Eimele Metabolism Plus Coffee comes in an luxuriously exquisite dark blue and bronze box with the lid sliding open to reveal 30 individual coffee sachets inside. I try to limit my coffee to just the one cup of coffee in the morning and so I find this pack lasts me a whole month. I love the ease and convenience of individual sachets as it allows me to pop enough a sachet into my handbag when I’m on the go. I also like the hygienic implications of the sachets, mean I do not have to contaminate the whole jar with water, or sugar, or anything else, every time I dip my spoon in to make a cup of coffee. I like the added bonus that the coffee has added vitamin to boost your metabolism, which is what makes me happy to replace my usual cappuccino sachets with this coffee, to help kick start my day.

I absolutely love, love, love this product. The Schwarzkopf Hair Mascara comes in a round cylindrical tube, like most of your regular eye mascaras, except this tube is quite fat and bigger than most of my mascaras, making it easy for me to pick it out quickly from my regular beauty tools, and distinguish it from my eye mascaras. I have naturally dark hair that I have been having professionally coloured blonde, so I trialled the Dark Blonde shade. The aim of the hair mascara is to disguise any grey hair, not to try to disguise any dark hair regrowth, and I have found it does a great job with this. My hair is turning very grey, so I went blonde as it is easier to blend the dark and grey peppery hair regrowth into a blonde colour, than it was to recolour my roots with a (naturally homogenous) dark colour, to cover those pesky greys. I’m not a huge fan of the grey hair root retoucher colour sprays, as they colour my skin also and tend to cover the hair in ‘block’ type patterns that end up looking like you have rather ‘fake’ and painted on hair. What I love most about this hair mascara is that I can easily control which hairs or sections of hair are coated with the mascara wand, and how lightly or heavily I can apply it so as to not let it look clumpy. The wand lets me control a result that gives me a natural and blended look which not only covers my grey regrowths, but it also blends in with the rest of my coloured hair. While I wish there was a slightly lighter blonde colour available for the hair mascara, I find even though it is a little on the dark side, being a wand where I can control coating each hair or section of hair separately, gives me the great ability to blend it in ideally with the rest of the hair colour. The only down side of the wand, is that sometimes individual hairs will wrap around the wand whilst applying it, however it is easy to just remove those individual hair before returning the wand inside the tube.

Harmony My Beauty Marine Collagen powder comes exquisitely packaged in a large, white 80g cylindrical tub with a gold lid. When you open the tub you are greeted with a fine dusty pink coloured oral powder. Despite the product containing Marine Collagen, the smell isn’t offensive and has a mildly earthy scent. The powder is dairy free, gluten and wheat free and contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The instructions are to mix 4g (1 tea spoon) into a hot or cold beverage of your choice, so first thing every morning I would place a teaspoon of the powder into my tea. At first, I wasn't too crazy about the taste as it is a little too strong a flavour a bit overpowering when mixed in with my usual tea, but I grew accustomed to the earthy – though slightly fishy taste and it became a part of my regular breakfast routine. After a few weeks of regular use, I noticed that my nails are looking stronger and healthier and there are no white or any other marks on them. My hair is also looking healthier and shinier and I have noticed new growth of terminal hair growing near my temple. My skin also looks healthier and more radiant. I have incorporated this powder into my regular breakfast routing, so it is something that I will continue using.
