This was my first time using any product from QV and I really enjoyed using this oil free moisturiser as part of my twice daily skin care routine. The moisturiser comes in a tube with a cap which is pressed downwards to open the tube so you can then squueze out a small amount of cream. I used the moisturiser morning and night after completing my routine and found it to be a good consistency, neither too thin nor thick and did not notice any scent to the product (my nose however is blocked as currently suffering from a cold!!!). The moisturiser was nourishing and hydrating on the skin and sunk into the skin quickly, leaving the skin with a smooth and matte finish. It was very nice to use and gentle, no irritation at all - exactly what you would expect from a QV product. I look forward to continuing to use this moisturiser.

Packaged in a good sized 200ml pump dispenser, you only need the smallest amount of gel cleanser to leave your skin soft and clean. The packaging itself is attractive and the pump is very simple to use. The oil free gel cleanser easily foams with water and lathers up to gently clean the skin and remove make up. It does take a bit of rinsing to remove the product completely from the skin due to the smallest amount producing so much foaming product. I enjoyed using this oil free gel cleanser from QV, it is going to last a long time.

I was lucky enough to be chosen by beauty heaven to participate in the John Frieda Profiller trial team. The trial involved the use of three products - a shampoo, conditioner and a leave in thickening spray- developed especially for fine hair. The thickening spray was my favourite of these as it was the most unique and I really liked the smell, I found it to be quite a soothing scent. The milky spray is the final step in the Profiller system and is applied to towel dried hair and left in. I did find my hair was thicker overall, in that the volume of my hair seemed to be increased. It was a bit more unruly and frizzy, but it was nice to feel like I had more hair! A great product for those of us with fine hair to try.

I was lucky enough to be chosen by beauty heaven to participate in the trial team for the John Frieda Profiller thickening shampoo, conditioner and leave in spray. This set of products has been especially developed to thicken fine hair and they are certainly lovely products with great packaging which allows for easy dispensing and application whilst showering. I found the conditioner to be nice and thick and did leave Mt hair knot free after using it. Overall, my hair had more volume to it, both when loose and when tied up in a bun. I did find my hair was more frizzy and Fluffy and flyaway did seem a little more pronounced. I look forward to continuing to use these products to see if my hair settles a bit; definitely I feel it is a good product to try for those of who have fine hair.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to participate in the trial team for John Frieda Profiller for fine hair thickening shampoo, conditioner and leave in treatment. I enjoyed using these products and definitely found that my hair was volumised. I didn't notice that my hair was thicker in itself, and it was a little more frizzy and quite fluffy, but i did find that there was an increase in size of my bun when I put my hair up. I would like to see how my hair goes with continuous use, if the frizziness settles down. I found the packaging great for use in the shower, the shampoo and conditioner a nice thick consistency and the spray in particular had a very nice smell. A great new product I am grateful to beauty heaven for allowing me to trial. Definitely something for us fine haired ladies to look into to boost our hair volume.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial La Roche Posay's Cicaplast B5+ repairing balm thanks to beautyheaven. The balm comes in a white tube and has a thick, cream consistency- definitely a thinner consistency than what I would associate with a balm. As stated on the packaging, it is soothing to the skin and I was impressed to see that is suitable for use on children and babies, sensitive skin, as suitable for use after aesthetic procedures. It contains a probiotic complex, madecosside from the centella asiatica plant, panthenol and also zinc and manganese as anti bacterial agents. I found the inclusion of all these in the cream very impressive! The balm spreads easily and absorbs relatively quickly, leaving skin soft, hydrated and smooth. Unfortunately it hasn't helped with my breakouts, but it has felt soothing on my irritated skin and I will give anything hydrating a go! Packaging states that this product is fragrance free, but I can detect a subtle, pleasant scent which I would say is slightly floral. I look forward to continuing to use this product to see if it will improve my skin, I also am keen to try it as a barrier cream to see if it helps prevent irritation from sweat rash.

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to trial the Toni and Guy Strengthplex system by beautyheaven and I am thoroughly impressed! The Strengthplex system consists of three products which are used to restore the hair bonds and claims to repair and strengthen as well as hydrate the hair. There is the shampoo, a conditioner and a hair mask. I love the packaging - the design on the bottles is elegant and gives the product a feeling of luxury. I especially love the flip top cap which makes the shampoo very easy to use in the shower without any water getting into the shampoo and wrecking it. The shampoo lathers easily and has quite a nice scent which is not subtle, but it us definitely not overpowering either. I believe the fragrance is the Kakadu plum which is included in all the products; it's a lovely smell. After lathering the shampoo thoroughly in the hair, it is completely rinsed out and followed by the other two steps (conditioner and hair) in the Strengthplex system. The shampoo did not leave my hair tangled or feeling rough at all, even prior to using the subsequent two products. I have found that using these products has not only strengthened my hair, but tamed it a great deal. It is softer, smoother, more manageable, more hydrated and much less frizzy - so much so that I have even been wearing it out. Usually my hair is frizzy, especially in humid weather that I just tie it back. It now hangs nicely around my face and looks really good - I have even had compliments on how nice it looks! Toni and Guy have tamed the beast! I wasn't aware of other plex systems before this trial team and I must say that the Toni and Guy products are exceptionally good value, I will definitely purchase all of these products and continue to use them. You only need to use a small amount of each product, so they will last a long time. I highly recommend trying the Toni and Guy Strengthplex system. I can not believe that no hair is so manageable now!

I am reviewing this product as part of the trial team for the Toni and Guy Strengthplex system which I was very lucky to be chosen by beautyheaven to take part in. I had only ever tried one hair bond strengthening system and had no idea this one existed! The plex system consists of a shampoo, a conditioner and the hair mask as the final step. It claims to rebuild bonds between hair fibres resulting in stronger, smoother, shinier hair with less breakage. Although the shampoo and conditioner come with a flip top, the hair mask is in a tub. I prefer the flip top lids as they are so easy to use in the shower without letting any water into the product. The hair mask itself is very thick, yet a little goes a long way and it spreads easily through the hair. Once applied, it should be left in the hair for between three and five minutes to allow the product to do its' job before being rinsed out. I couldn't believe how smooth my hair was after using all three products and rinsing out the hair mask - it was amazing! I then ran a comb through I and let it dry naturally. The Toni and Guy Strengthplex system is great value for money and does what it says. My hair was more hydrated, softer, smoother, much more manageable and less frizzy after use. My hair is stronger- I noticed less hair fall and breakage after using the three products together. I'll definitely continue to use this and will repurchase it as I'm so happy with the results and the products last a long time. Would highly recommend anyone to try it.

I was chosen to be part of the Toni and Guy Strengthplex system trial team which I had previously not tried. The system consists of 3 products: a shampoo, a conditioner and a hair mask. The shampoo is used first, followed by the conditioner which should be left on the hair for approximately 2 minutes before it is rinsed out. This is then followed by the hair mask as the final step in the plex system. Strengthplex clas to strengthen hair by rebuilding bonds to reduce breakage and also increase hydration. I love the flip top of the conditioner, so easy to open and control the amount used without letting any water into the product while showering. All the products are moderately strong smelling, but it's a very pleasant smell without being overpowering. The conditioner is pleasant to use, spreading easily through the hair and you only need a small amount as it disperses easily. Upon rinsing out, my hair was smooth and knot free! After the first use, my dry, frizzy hair was more manageable and smoother. It was also more hydrated and I noticed less hair fall and breakage. A great system, fantastic value and the products will last a long time. I'll definitely continue to use and purchase and highly recommend anyone gives this a try. Fantastic results!

I was very happy to be chosen to trial this product as coming out of the winter months my normal to dry skin needs all the hydration it can get! This is the first La Roche Posay product i have tried and I enjoyed using this serum; it is a translucent milky colour and you only need 3-4 drops for your whole face. I applied it daily after cleansing and toning and before any other serums. The serum absorbed quickly into my skin without leaving any residue or tackiness and I did like it, I just don't love it. I didn't notice any positive difference to my skin - I will keep using it of course to see if there are any noticeable changes - and certainly I have nothing negative to say about the serum itself, but I would not be happy to pay $65 for it. What I didn't like was the dropper. It is too wide for the bottle and when you go to put it back into the bottle, any serum on the outside of the dropper transfers over the lip of the bottle resulting in waste. I also found that the dropper itself only drew up a few small amount of serum, meaning I had to go into the bottle 2 to 3 times. I doubt I will purchase this serum unless I see noticeable difference in my skin with continued use. I feel there are much better value serums out there which are more effective. I need more hydration from a serum.
