I love Burt’s Bees balms, so I often try different scents and varieties when they’re on sale. I was excited to try a tinted version since I hadn’t before. The Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Rose gives a lovely, natural flush of colour that’s subtle but deepens my lip colour beautifully. It feels creamy (maybe slightly oily?) and moisturising thanks to ingredients like shea butter and jojoba oil, and has a fresh, subtle scent that’s really pleasant. It does smudge a little, so I like to prep my lips with one of their scrubs beforehand to help it absorb better or to blot it after application to remove any excess.

I’ve been loving the Burt’s Bees Mocha Lip Scrub. It smells delicious and almost good enough to eat. I tend to learn towards fruit lip products but the chocolate and coffee feels like a treat. The scrub is nice and gritty without being harsh or damaging. The product gently buffs away dry skin and leaves my lips feeling super soft and smooth. The natural ingredients, including brown sugar and cocoa seed butter, make it nourishing too. The only downside is that with my long acrylic nails, it’s a bit tricky to scoop out without it getting stuck under them. Still, it’s a lovely product I keep reaching for and gift often in self-care hampers.

I tried the Burt’s Bees Passion Fruit Lip Balm and like most of their products, I absolutely love it. It smells amazing. It's fresh and fruity without being sickly sweet. It glides over the lips with ease, without being overly oily or shiny. It feels instantly nourishing, thanks to its 100% natural formula made with beeswax, shea butter and vitamin E. I find that it does help keep lips soft, smooth and hydrated. I always keep it in my bag for those cold winter days, windy afternoons or when the air con is blasting at work and my lips need a quick moisture boost. Great value too.

I blind bought Trésor Midnight Rose after seeing it on sale and liking the sound of its notes. I just adore floral and fruity fragrances so like to add them to my collection often. Safe to say that I loved this fragrance instantly. It is truely unique, upon first spray I noticed a sweet raspberry and blackcurrant scent with a subtle a zing of pink pepper. As the fragrance began to settle the powdery rose takes over but is quickly softened by the peony and jasmine, giving it a fresh, feminine touch. Vanilla, musk and cedar can also be subtly noted adding a little warmth to the fragrance. A truly complex mix that just works! Just a few sprays lasts most the day without being overpowering or sickly, which is great. Overall, a beautiful flirty and elegant fragrance that matches the beauty of its bottle.

I recently received a Lancôme mini fragrance set as a gift, and La Vie Est Belle Florale quickly became my favourite, so much so I just HAD to buy a full sized bottle. It’s a stunning floral scent that exudes elegance, evoking the kind of scent you’d imagine drifting through a chic dressing room in a wealthy French woman’s home. While it’s undeniably floral with a subtle powdery touch, it never feels old-fashioned or “grandma-like.” Instead, it’s a modern, sophisticated floral with a hint of fruitiness from the osmanthus, which lends an apricot-like aroma with soft leather and suede undertones. The staying power is excellent as it lasts all day without becoming overpowering or sickly.

I am quite partial to a zesty citrus based fragrance, but it is often hard to fine one that champions the citrus notes without smelling like a kitchen cleaner! This Jardiniere Mint and Mimosa Eau de Parfum however, seems to nail this! The citrus notes are prominent, offering a fresh invigorating zing, but they are also subtly balanced out with the musk, which sort of lightens the whole vibe and takes away that cleaner vibe. The staying power isn't massive for this product, but given the affordable price I am happy to top off throughout the day. This would be the perfect summer fragrance. It's light, refreshing and just feels clean and inviting! I love the simple bottle too.

This is my go-to designer brand dupe! The brush is fantastic, it separates my fine but long lashes really well and pumps up the volume to the next level. The formula does not sting my eyes either which is a plus! I find that this formula is easy to remove without a lot of rubbing, but also doesn't smudge super easily and it lasts all day, even out on the hot sun. My lashes are naturally blonde so the darkness this adds is perfect for me. A great value product too considering the quality and the beauty of the packaging. I recommend this.

Essie is my go to brand for at home nail polish and nail care. I prefer quick, easy routines, so their multi use Nail Polish Base Coat and Top Coat is perfect for me. Since using it, my nails feel stronger and look so much healthier. I like that it creates a smooth base that helps my Essie colours apply more evenly and last even longer. As a top coat its great too, it adds a very shiny, protective finish that enhances the polish’s colour and reduces the risks of chipping. This product combines care and convenience perfectly, saving me time while keeping my nails beautiful and healthy and that's why I really love it.

I love Essie polishes. In fact I have a pretty big collection of nail polishes and 95% of them are Essie! Just like their reds and oranges, their deeps are fab and are such great quality especially for such reasonable pricing. Their Licorice is my go-to black polish. It applies easily, with their quality brush, which has never frayed on me and lasts ages. The Licorice black rarely chips even with rough use, which is unusual for such a dark shade and sets pretty quickly too. It smells quite nice, definitely not headache inducing.

I work in the kitchen and garden a lot so my hands tend to dry our pretty easily. I use hand and barrier creams regularly but even so I find that my cuticles needs a little attention, and boy it can be painful when they dry out and tear! I was recommended this Cuticle treatment by my nail tech and have seen such good result since I started applying it. My cuticles are less dry, they tear rarely and they are easier to gently push back when painting or cleaning. The product itself smells great and is an excellent value as a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts ages.
