I was so happy to be included in this trial. I love the effect of false lashes but have always found them difficult and finicky to use. The glue is a struggle to apply and get right without messing up your eye-liner in the process. This seemed like it would be the perfect solution to the issues I've had in the past with false lashes, especially since it is incorporated into the eye-liner pen. I used the product as instructed, which was to shake the product well before application and line the area 2 or 3 times to ensure that there's plenty of glue and it doesn't dry up. I found the black liner itself not too bad, it was a little "inky" and it did bleed slightly but really not a big deal especially once you put the lashes on its not noticeable. Did this work well as a lash glue? Well, it did make it easier to apply the glue and I loved that it also lined my eye at the same time. The lashes did stick, but a few hours after application I felt like they had lifted slightly in the corners. Even with going over the area several times it doesn't feel like you can truly control how much glue comes out, I felt like I needed a bit more but couldn't get it out. I guess I'm just used the applying a thick glue instead of a thin liner. It was also incredibly difficult to remove even with the oil cleanser I used (it was the garnier micellar with oil - I suggest using the L'Oréal waterproof makeup cleanser with oil instead) Overall it is a great idea but I'm not entirely convinced that it works as well as it could. I will try it with different lashes - perhaps it will have better results. I do think its worth a try though, its the only thing I've come across in the market like this and it is far easier to use than the traditional glue pots that come with false lashes.

First up, as a trial team member, I will say its probably quite difficult to choose out false lashes to give as a trial. There are so many preferences people have about how they like their lashes in regards to length, thickness and style. Unfortunately for me the fake mink ones I was sent did not fit any of my preferences. I knew straight away they were too "big" for my eyes/face. They were very long and fairly thick. They are not the style I would have bought if given a choice. I'm sure there are people who would absolutely love the ones I was sent so I feel a bit guilty for scoring them so low however I need to give an honest reflection of my personal opinion of these lashes. This was not my only issue with them either. I found these lashes to be very uncomfortable. After a few hours it felt as if they had lifted and were digging/poking into the corner of my eye and I couldn't get rid of this feeling. This is a common problem for me with false lashes, perhaps it is user error and I'm not applying them correctly but I'm really not sure. I was hoping that the liner/glue would fix this issue for me which is why I was so excited to try this combination out but it didn't work for me.

I was part of the trial team for the marzena large wax strips. Having used wax strips in the past of the same brand I have found them effective and efficient for hair removal, especially as I do not use a microwave at home so cannot heat wax up in the traditional way. The wax itself was an aqua blue colour and the strips were on clear plastic so you can see through them. The directions say to warm the wipe between your hands until the wax is soft. This proved difficult during a cold Melbourne winter, it took far longer than I expected and still seemed to tacky when I pulled the strips apart. Perhaps the strips are more suitable to use during warmer parts of the year. I used the strips on my legs. There was no advice given about how long the hair should be, whereas other parts of the body were addressed on the pack/information leaflet. Applying the strip to my legs was pretty easy, just smooth it down in the direction of the hair. Removal was simple although a few small areas still had wax remaining on my skin which was a bit annoying. Overall not the best waxing strips I've ever used but would try them again in the warmer months.

I was lucky enough to be part of the trial team for the water wipes. At a glance, they seem awesome as they are made naturally with water. It's great to be able to think about using a product that is really close to its natural state, it feels like it would have heaps of benefits for your skin and not cause any issues or problems. To be able to remove makeup effectively alongside that is fantastic. Unfortunately the water wipes fell short of my expectations. I wear mascara, eyeliner and eyebrow pencil every day and often wear foundation/blush also. They wipes were able to remove my mascara from my eyelashes if I rubbed them with the eyelashes in between my fingers but when I used a finger to wipe over the skin/lashes nothing seemed to come off even if I was still removing mascara with the other technique. My eyebrows also didn't seem to clean up easily and I struggled to get the pencil off. Makeup came off okay from my skin. My least favorite thing about the water wipes was how my skin felt afterwards, it literally felt like I had used water only to clean my face so the skin was dry/squeaky. The wipes themselves don't smooth gently over the skin either, there's a little bit of tugging involved.

I had been really happy to try out the magic retouch dark roots, as I do leave a fair amount of regrowth in between salon visits. As a natural blonde I can get away with it - you can still tell that I have regrowth but it doesn't look unsightly. I thought maybe this product could just touch up the regrowth to blend seamlessly with my blonde foils, but boy was I wrong. I was uncertain whether to get the "light blonde" shade or the "dark blonde". I chose light blonde, assuming it would give the best effect. The first time I used it I felt that it actually had no effect at all on my hair. I thought that perhaps it was because my hair was due for a wash so after my next wash and dry/style I tried it out again adding more product than the time before. Again, nothing changed except I did notice a slight yellowish tinge to my regrowth. That was it, no magic retouching, no hidden regrowth and now I've used about two thirds of the bottle (the rest will go in the bin). I did find that the product transferred to my nails/fingers if I scratched or rubbed my head and it felt cold to apply - different to a hairspray or dry shampoo (and honestly a dry shampoo has a better lightening effect on my regrowth than this did). I cannot recommend this product as it did not work as advertised. I do not think it's worth trying out.

This mask comes in an eye catching package which is black and aqua. Charcoal seems to be a hyped up product at the moment and I was interested to try it out in this mask. I thought maybe the serum would have charcoal in it but it was the cloth mask itself- it was black. Opening the package was no problem but pulling out the mask it was pretty sloppy and wet (and cold!) The instructions were easy to read and follow on the back of the package. Unfortunately there was no plastic sheeting behind the material mask so you have to unfold it yourself before placing it on your face (you do need to cleanse your face first also) there was plenty of serum on the mask itself and it didn't dry out at all in any places, it stayed moist and hydrating even after 20 minutes of use. When I was finished I took the mask off and rubbed the remaining serum into my face which felt a little sticky at first but seemed to absorb quickly. I noticed no "purifying" effects from this mask in the days following but it was okay for hydration. Overall the mask was average - not fabulous but not awful either.

I was part of the trial team for this moisturiser. I used it daily after a shower, sometimes twice daily (morning and night) and applied it to my entire body. Due to the name "oil infused lotion" I expected a somewhat oily feel to the lotion as it spread and absorbed but it felt entirely normal like a regular lotion, very thin and light to apply. I actually wish it was a bit thicker and creamier, or more of an oil. I didn't mind the smell, it wasn't overpowering but I prefer something fresher and fruitier. This was a bit of a more mature ladies scent. The performance of the product was good, I am pregnant and still prefer palmers products to slather on my bump but this lotion definitely helped to keep my skin hydrated all day, and my skin can be quite dry. It didn't assist in smoothing out the keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin) on my upper arms although the only moisturiser to do this has been one with AHAs/BHAs in it. Overall this didn't wow me and I really wanted to love this more than I did. In my opinion it was a pretty average lotion.

Having never used a eyelash/brow accelerator I was excited to try this. My lashes are blonde as are my eyebrows - my brows are quite sparse in areas. I dye my lashes and brows approximately each month. The lash accelerator is a clear serum and comes in a clear tube with shiny green writing on it - it was quite difficult to read the instructions but after much squinting I was pleased to read that the serum could be used under mascara (which I wear daily) or as an overnight "treatment". I had the eyelash accelerator for over a month and used the serum in both ways - as an overnight treatment 1-2 times a week and underneath my mascara/usual makeup about 5-6 times a week. I was pleased to see a small difference in approximately a week in the thickness of my brows and the length of my lashes.. my brows still have sparse areas but I do think this serum encourages growth particularly where growth is already established. After this initial growth period I did not see further improvement or growth in my lashes/brows. I was not pleased with the way this performed under my makeup - mascara. If I left the serum to dry before application then my lashes would be stuck together in clumps when I added mascara. If I added mascara before it dried my mascara did not perform as usual (my lashes did not look as thick, full or long due to adding the serum) and after half a day of wear the mascara was underneath my eyes panda style.. which is not what happens with my mascara usually. The benefits are that your lashes/brows may grow a little.. whether others notice this I don't know. I had no comments. However if you always wear mascara then it will be somewhat of a pain to incorporate into your daily routine, and it will affect the application of the mascara you regularly use. If you only want to try it as an overnight treatment I'm not certain how effective it will be. Best effects were when I used it daily under mascara and as a treatment a few times a week.

I've never considered a toning conditioner to be necessary after a toning/purple shampoo so had never tried one. I'm very happy to have been able to try the fudge clean blonde damage rewind conditioner out and to be able to review it. The packaging was simple to open - a flip top lid and no seal to remove before that. The tube was squeezable so the conditioner was easily dispensed to the desired quantity and like the shampoo and you do not need loads of it for it to be effective. It is light purple as you would expect and it immediately feels like it is smoothing out your hair while its wet and you can easily run any tangles out with your fingers, not that the shampoo left my hair feeling tangled. My hair is long and I only needed about half a golf ball sized amount to cover my hair. After rinsing and styling I was fairly happy with the condition and feel of my hair. It doesn't feel like it has miraculously repaired all the split ends or anything like that but it is in good condition, it feels smooth and easy to style. Overall a good combination with the shampoo.

The Fudge clean blonde damage rewind shampoo really packs a punch! I have always sworn by de lorenzo silver shampoo and I still rate it but I have always been impressed with fudge products and was excited to give these a try and to review them. The packaging was a bit annoying to open, the shampoo had a twist top to remove a seal, then it all poured into my hand in the shower when I tried to put the lid back on so I ended up with more than I would have liked/some wasted. Once I had it in my hair though I realized I should have listened to the warning about wearing gloves in case of staining! My hands were blueish! Luckily it did wash off with a few soap washes in shower - I was impressed though knowing it would likely work well in my hair. I left the shampoo in for about 5 minutes (my normal time with a toning shampoo) and was incredibly impressed with how my hair felt after rinsing. Usually my hair feels really dry/straw like after a toning shampoo but this one did not have that effect #winning! My hair felt smooth. After the wash then drying/straightening I was happy with the results from one wash alone! I feel like I may have left it just a bit too long plus as it was quite ashy plus a little goes a long way - you do not need additional applications the foam stays blue and you know your whole hair unis getting a great treatment. I did use it twice over the trial period and would recommend this shampoo not for every day use maybe once a week maximum for best effects.
