I have been blown away by how much I have loved using the L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Midnight Serum. I have seen great results using this serum over the past month! It is so lovely to apply and with actual results I would get excited to use the product morning and night. Let’s start with the look of the bottle - it is chic, luxe and very elegant. The minimalist bottle makes this product look luxe! However, it would have been nice to have the how to use instructions on the bottle making it easier to remember how to use. Beauty Heaven shows the price of the serum at $60 a bottle, which personally I cannot justify the cost. However, I have seen it in Priceline for $36.00 for the serum which I think is a very reasonable price for this product. The squeeze dropper makes it easy to pick up the serum into the dropper and then to squeeze onto your hand. The serum texture is thicker than most serums, but don’t let that fool how lovely it absorbs into your skin when applying. I have sensitive skin and I find a lot of serums will aggravate my skin especially after having a shower. The midnight serum didn’t irritate or cause any flare ups at all. It actually felt soothing to apply. My skin has felt more hydrated and has been less dry since using the serum. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. It absorbs nicely into my skin. The serum boasts an Antioxidant Recovery Complex to stimulate intense skin cell regeneration and I do believe that I saw and felt the results.

I am always on the lookout for good conditioners that help with growing my hair long and keeping it the healthiest condition that it can be. I was very impressed by this amazing conditioner. The conditioner comes in a very nice coral coloured bottle and the lid is at the bottom of the bottle which means it makes dispensing the conditioner very easy. The texture of this conditioner is very thick without being too heavy. The scent of the conditioner is divine it is sweet and fresh. And the best part about this conditioner is that it truly leaves my hair without any knots. My hair becomes extremely knotty after I wash it. And I could not believe that every time after I used this conditioner and I went to comb my hair the comb glided through my hair and there were no knots! It truly detangles your hair and it is fantastic.

I have naturally curly hair and although I wash my hair every day, I only use shampoo once a week. I tried this shampoo twice, once using it leaving my hair curly and the second time I used it I straightened my hair. The shampoo bottle is so cute and the colour of the bottle is a lovely coral colour and makes me so happy every time I see it in the shower. The scent of this shampoo is divine; it is sweet and very fresh. The texture of the shampoo is very nice not too thick or runny. The shampoo lathers very nicely and you don’t need a lot. I did find that for me it was too drying for my hair and I felt like it was stripping my hair of its natural oils. My hair is quite fussy when it comes to shampoo so it might work better for other hair types. The shampoo is enriched with Keratin, Vitamins and Castor Oil, which are to protect against breakage and reduce split ends.

I have fallen in love with the Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream! I cannot recommend it enough to people who are looking for an amazing leave in hair treatment. I use it daily on my long hair. I am always looking for products to help promote healthy hair and I am always trying to avoid having my hair cut. I love the cute bottle this cream comes in with a very handy nozzle to easily dispense the cream into my hand. The cream has a very nice creamy texture and it easily disperses through my long locks. The scent of the cream is lovely, not too sweet and has a clean fresh fragrance without being too intense. My hair definitely feels a lot healthier and smoother since using Elvive Dream Lengths No Haircut Cream. This product has so many great features; it protects hair on heat of up to 180°C, it hydrates your hair, reduces frizz and adds shine to long lengths.

I was lucky enough to be selected to be on the Beauty Heaven trial team for the Nude by Nature Complexion Essentials Starter Kit. I have been wanting for a long time to try the Nude by Nature products and just talked myself out of it because I thought it would be too difficult to use powdered based products. A colleague of mine swears by Nude by Nature and her makeup always looks amazing! The Nude by Nature Complexion Essentials Starter Kit is a really nice option when you want to try mineral makeup products. The kit comes in a gorgeous black cosmetics bag which is very practical and looks very chique. I believe the Complexion Essentials Starter Kit is great for when you want a “barely” there makeup look or natural makeup style. Perfecting Primer: Overall I wasn’t that impressed with this primer, I felt like you needed a lot to cover the face as is didn’t blend well and was slightly sticky. It didn’t feel like it was smoothing out to prime my face ready to apply the powders. Perfecting Concealer: this concealer is pretty awesome at covering the dark circles. It is quite a cream liquid concealer that covers dark circles very nicely, it also is crease free and provides hydrating and antioxidant benefits. It blended very well and had a nice texture to it. Radiant Loose Powder Foundation: the thing to remember about the powder foundation is that it is a buildable coverage, so you can have a very slight coverage to an almost full coverage look. I wouldn’t say you can get an over the top full coverage, which is why I mentioned earlier it’s a more natural makeup style. Natural Glow Loose Bronzer: I learnt the hard way that less is more with the bronzer. The first time I tried to use this I applied too much bronzer to my brush and didn’t shake off the excess before applying. Once used correctly this bronzer offers a very nice subtle bronze look and has good lasting Translucent Loose Finishing Powder: the finishing powder is an absolute must! It is a very soft powder that helps create a satin finish and keep your makeup look last the whole day. The Brush is really super soft and created a very flawless finish.

I was fortunate enough to be selected on the Beauty Heaven trial team to review The Nude By Nature Defining Lip Pencil. Let me start by saying: what a fantastic lip pencil, finding the right lip pencil that works perfectly is hard! The Nude by Nature Defining Lip Pencil is brilliant I was very happy with the results and the ease of using it. The colour of the lip pencil is an attractive shade and suited my skin tone extremely well. I found it to be a creamy and pigmented texture that glided over nicely outlining and perfectly contouring my lips which stopped the lipstick from smudging out over my lips. I found that it did great lasting a long time and stayed strong for most of the day. The pencil sharpened easily. The best part about the Nude By Nature Defining Lip Pencil is how amazing it is for your lips! It contains the best active natural ingredients including Australian Macadamia Oil, Vitamin E and Shea butter. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a new lip pencil.

On initial application the lipstick is a medium cream and is quite smooth. It has a moderate pigmentation and a very nice clean colour. Unfortunately, this lipstick shade did not suit my skin tone and my Husband commented that it made me look 20 years older. The lipstick sits on lips and moderately moisturising on the lips. It’s a matte, with a soft colour tone, which is totally perfect for a day look. Comfortable on the lips, however I found it slightly drying and it did show up cracks on my lips. The Nude by Nature Creamy Matte Lipstick lasted around 3 hours with light drinking. Re-application made lips feel dry; you would need to apply a lip balm in between. Unfortunately it fades more quickly on my lips than other lipsticks that I use. Moderate transfer, by the end of evening it has smudged to the side of lip and above lip.
