I have used Aveda hair care products for about 30 years. No chemical parfum stink, and no more burning eyes when I went to put my contacts in after the shower (from shampoo/conditioner) residue. So, Ive been through quite a few different products over that time and this is my latest conditioner switch. I have fine hair, shoulder length. Coloured blonde from dark/greying.I DO need to use a few products togive some body and hold and not weigh my hair down. I was using the Sap Moss conditioner which was gloriously weightless like nothing I'd tried before. But then I started to need a little extra care and repair. The Botanical Repair conditioner certainly fit the bill there, but became too much. Hair became too soft and limp. Also the Sap Moss scent after a couple years was too much for me, needed a change. Invati conditioner is my new favourite, as it sits between the two in terms of being weightless while giving enough repair and care. I also love the scent which is not overwhelming.Perfect. I can't attribute "thickening" to this conditioner as I'm never without some styling products, also Aveda. Im using the Invati Styling foam now and also VERY happy with that.

I was very sorry to have only just missed the cut off for the competition to win this pack. I purchased the Synergie Skin Lumibalance oil with my rewards points, and find it truly outstanding. I mix it with my usual moisturiser day and night to give better hydration and protection from moisture loss . Have noticed my skin looks better overall and no development of "ageing" signs since using it for many months. Gives a beautiful glow. I am 61. Lumibalance is very nice to use. A faint scent from plant based ingredients, no parfum. This is just what I needed. I am considering getting a pack of sample sizes to try the other products, as I do have concerns with possible sensitivity to certain ingredients. Best to try before buying full sizes. As this pack was offered as a prize, I was hoping to see it reviewed by now.

I am 100% happy with my Rewards Room purchase of Synergie Skin Lumibalance multi active facial oil! I hadn't heard of this brand before. Took my time browsing and waiting for THE right skin care product to get. I was hoping for a serum to blend day and night with my usual basic moisturiser (can I say, usually it's Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser). Being intolerant to parfum, citrus oils, hemp oil and rosehip oil in facial skincare, that box was ticked straight away. No problem. There is a very faint herbal scent, not sure of what, but only if I sniff directly at the bottle.No parfum! Fantastic! This oil is so easily absorbed, once added to moisturiser. I'm not into separate layers! Blending is the way to go! How many drops, depends on how dry you are, for day or night care, winter, airconditioning/heating, and how much of a glow you want! NO pharma chemical ingredients, but still LOTS of active botanical skin improvers. Tick! The dark translucent glass dropper bottle is perfect. Appropriate to the "earthy" ingredients, and elegant to display in the bathroom, or bedside. Easy to handle, but hygeinic. You can use 1, 2, 3 drops as needed without any double dipping. Having used it for maybe a couple of weeks, it's too early to say whether there are any profound differences in fine (Frown or concentration? Concentration on my case!) or deeper lines (from corners of mouth). I am very happy with this beautiful hydrating protecting oil with botanical serum ingredients. Would definitely purchase further, and I'm very interested now also in the rest of the range Thank you Beautyheaven, for introducing me via the Rewards Room. This was worth the wait!

"Fragrance free", actually no, it does have the very subtle almond/vanilla scent, but it's gentle. Not overpowering or irritating. Aveeno Intense Relief hand cream comes in a flip top tube. You could call it a barrier cream, as it's waterproof and lasts through hand washing. However, it is never thick or sticky or waxy on the skin. "Ingredients derived from nature" refers to the soothing oat flour. However, there are plenty of chemical ingredients including petrolatum. I hesitate to revert to a product with petrolatum. I no longer have severe eczema I had earlier on, but I still need to remember to protect my hands from washing, irritants and just a long term tendency to dryness. The cream feels good. It is protective, and hydrating by it's quality of preventing moisture loss. Not sure about using a product with petrolatum, aluminium etc long term. My expectations of skin care have changed.

I have used Aveeno lotion and wash in the past when I had eczema (100% clear now), but not this Skin Relief variety. I still need a hand and body wash which 1. contains zero parfum, 2. doesn't have a strong concentration of citrus oils. Ok. This one is "Fragrance free". Aveeno Skin Relief Body wash comes in a flip top easy to grab and hold plastic bottle. A pump would be better whether for the shower or as a hand wash (especially in the kitchen, and also with all the contamination anxiety of the moment). Oat complex for soothing is welcome! Petrolatum less so. I know it's a common ingredient for dry cracking skin (which I no longer have)but it put me off, having used products in recent years which don't contain this. I felt like the packaging colours relate to these main ingredients. Beige for the oats, blue for the petroleum derivatives. Having said that, it is very gentle and soothing. As a body wash, I'd expect a larger size than 354 mls, and a pump dispenser. The wash itself is a pleasant milky translucent gel/lotion consistency. Not "soapy", barely foaming. Nice.

I started using Aveda when they first opened in Melbourne, and havent looked back. No more stinging eyes, or spots on scalp. No horrible overpowering synthetic parfum. The scent of the Blue Malva shampoo is not noticeable to me. All products are scented with essential oil blends. Ive been using this for so long now, Im unsure how much difference it makes to colour. Pretty certain it used to be brassy! Not so now!

I was hesitant to buy these self tanning drops online, worried that there may be parfum added, as many Clarins skin care products have. No cause for concern! I'm able to use my favourite fragrance free moisturisers, and just add a drop or three as needed in the palm of my hand. Blend the two for about four seconds, and apply to the face and throat. Never, ever streaky or stinky (as many self tans are!) A very natural "healthy colour", to combat indoor workers paleface problems! Attracts compliments for beautiful natural no makeup skin!

I have fine coloured hair, and I have used several Aveda styling products for many years. After applying the Phomollient foam, I use a small amount of the Smooth Infusion Nourishing Styling Creme worked through my hair, especially over the top layer. This reduces frizz and fly away and helps to hold in place with a very natural feel. No stickiness or stiffness at all, totally non greasy! It doesnt weigh my hair down which is very important to me. The faint botanical scent doesnt linger perceptibly.. only my daughter says "Mum you smell beautiful". We love all of the Aveda botanical scents, only from essential oils and plant extracts. This is a huge factor in my choices, but the styling products are the best I have used. I have to say also, that since I started using Aveda products, there was no more stinging and burning when I went to put contact lenses in. The other (not Aveda) hair products, especially shampoos had this effect.

Just as I was thinking I really should start using a hand cream daily, I received Du'it Tough Hands For Her. My hands had been getting a bit rough and dry, with some redness over the knuckles. Normally I look after the rest of myself very well, but I was letting myself down in the hands department. Tough hands comes in a 75g tube, which looks small at first, but you only need a little, and it is very well priced. It has a very soft scent, not the botanical scent or completely fragrance free I'd prefer, but really, I think it would suit the vast majority. "Tough hands" is maybe a bit misleading, as its not a waterproof barrier cream, but rather a very silky translucent readily absorbed cream. Not runny, thick or waxy, but just as it should be. Easy to apply, absorb, and get on with things. So, I found a difference VERY soon, with my hands softer, hydrated, and the redness dissipated. What's more, the good effects lasted when I wasn't using it. I was happy that it washes away easily, as I wear contact lenses, and the perfume was not overpowering. Excellent value!

I don't normally use pharmacy and supermarket brands, but I was intrigued by the Swisse Hyaluro-Natural range.
The Moisturising Facial Serum comes in a brown glass bottle with a pump dispenser. It looks small, but 30mls is pretty standard for a concentrated serum. Expensive brands often look larger as the external packaging holds a smaller vial inside. No such trickery here.
I have a basic moisturiser I love, which I like to mix and match with serums and oils, so I was excited about this one.
My first priority is no synthetic perfume added! This serum has a light natural botanical scent which doesnt irritate or overpower. Excellent.
I was curious about the "natural botanical alternative to hyaluronic acid" for fine lines and wrinkles. This turns out to be from senna (cassia) pods. I had a look online, and it's apparently more effective in the long run than synthetic hyaluronic acid.
Good texture. A fine lotion rather than a liquid or loose gel. NONE of the sticky tacky feeling of some very expensive similar serums Ive tested!
After using it for a week or two, family members noted that my skin colour was more even, and my face has a "lifted" appearance. I agree!
