This is a master brush that works well for many uses. Firstly, in it packaging, it is beautifully presented but and looks well packaged but you don't get to see how gorgeous - yes gorgeous - the brush actually is! More than this - once you do get to take it out of the box, the brush has several lovely features. The colour to begin with a very classy white wood, maple wood, in fact and is light on the hand, and the square design and rounded square handle is tastefully done, even with the brand name on it handle. The wood certainly makes you feel you are using a natural product and one that will last a lifetime. Similarly the bristles have been well done, and are perfect for thick hair (like mine!), and gently 'stimulate' but also and I think importantly, help detangle, which is always a good thing when you wear your hair down. The bristles are the exact same colour of the brush and are rounded but firm and widely spaced. A classy, stylish brush, this piece will look elegant on any dressing table and could even work as a rushed, drying hair brush or straightening paddle brush, and while the hair will fall through the bristles quickly,with a bit of product, it might just do the job. No doubt hair will dry very quickly with this brush, when brushing it with a hair dryer, but it is no doubt a glorious brush, perfect for a post-shower brush or when you need to treat your hair gently and one that I will use for years. Flawless really.

For someone that doesn't spoil themselves much, this brush, which I got in a trial test, was great and an unexpected relaxation tool, worth enjoying. Especially for those moments after a stressful day at work, having a shower, and washing your hair can really be too much, but this funny looking brush is actually much better than you can imagine and is equivalent with one of those metal scalp massagers. I really enjoyed shampooing with it and it feels great. The strong wooden handle has a great feel and it clearly is a premium product. Unfortunately, outside of the shower, and outside of it's purpose, this brush is not for normal brushing but that doesn't matter, as for what it is- it is a very good scalp brush. Definitely worth trying out.

I got this lipstick because it looked like a nice colour and I had some extra points to use in the rewards room and I must say- I am not disappointed! While the 'Sunset love' colour is more orange than I expected, and glides on well, it is a little TOO light and sheer. The lipstick itself has quite a creamy consistency but also has a bit of a strong smell which I found a little unpleasant initially you get use of it. It still is slightly matt but perhaps a little too sheer and comes off very easily and so needs reapplying regularly. It does thicken with a bit of powder and looks really lovely with olive skin so I still feel it is a colour I will continue to use well into the future. Will be a great colour in summer and easy to use and apply - very easy makeup indeed!

If, like me, you've had a hard time finding sunscreens that are well-made and that don't cost a fortune, you'll be delighted to discover the new Body Moisturiser SPF 50+ sunscreen by Dermaveen. This product seems to cover all the bases for a great sunscreen, being attractive and well packaged (tick), glides on well (feeling smooth and nourishing) and yet, is still thick enough to give good sun production to be a SPF 50+. It is even light enough to put on your face though I would recommend having your skin freshly washed so it gets absorbed straight away and doesn't feel greasy. Importantly as a sunscreen however it covers for both UVA and UVB rays (which if you are feeling like you are ageing will be concerned about covering up your face properly from damaging sunrays and sunburn). Interestingly, this cream does not feel in the least greasy yet somehow manages to still have the thick broad spectrum white film cover of a good sunscreen, while being soothing when applied. Luckily this product avoids having a lot of the nasty ingredients like parabens, artificial colours and dyes and alcohol (tho personally I don't mind a little fragrance or lanolin) and isn't tested on animals. Overall, the new Dermaveen sunscreen is a great find for anyone wanting a solid body (and even facial) sunscreen moisturiser that will work and cover all bases (and skins) for the summer season. Highly recommended.

I had been hearing about the build up of product residue on hair for a few years, and so I was curious as to what a true 'cleansing' shampoo hair might be like. I have thick, curly/wavy hair that is regularly dyed, so I thought using a cleansing shampoo might be beneficial to strip away any build-up that my hair might have. So it happened that I saw the Klorane Anti-pollution shampoo in the Reward Room and so without hesitation I chose to get it and see what this product is like - well its definitely one-of-a-kind! The first thing you notice about this shampoo is the intoxicating, sweet mint smell that goes everywhere with the shampoo. The smell is wonderful on your hair after the wash too. The shampoo itself lathers lightly and has a strong, cleansing, even stripping sensation on the hair, where it feels like it has been cleaned of everything. For me it felt a bit too stripping, almost brittle, on the hair. I wasn't really expecting the shampoo to have this sensation on my hair, as my hair is generally on the dry side anyway, but after the wash I definitely seeked out a rich conditioner. Just to put a bit of moisture back. It did clean the hair, squeaky clean tho and I don't worry about product build up anymore (at least).

There is a gentleness about this eye cream and I think it has something to do with its smell. It's a unique smell, something between lightly woody and smoky but it does makes this eye cream different from others, along with the slightly different packaging too. This eye cream has probably the best packaging you can get in an eye cream, coming in a stand alone pump package. Here the design lets gravity bring all the product to you, and one small pump gets you one perfectly measured dose in every use. Very practical and fuss-free, this packaging is great for the handbag and small clutches, though you will need two hands, one to take the lid off and the other to pump it onto your hand or face. As a cream however, it is moisturising and gently firming, which you notice a couple of minutes after applying it. It does seem to fill out fine lines and moisturises well. The eye area does feel nicely replenished after use and did seemed to soften the dark circles I have under my eyes nowadays. Filled with 'potent Australian plants' including Kahai oil, Lilly pilly and meadow foam seed oil, this eye cream has a rich, moisturising texture almost having the feel of a night cream. While it is a little richer than I would normally use during the day, this eye cream is perfect for anyone with normal to dry skin and the gentle formulation should suit all skin types. Very nice product perfect for everyday use.

Everyone should have a few lip tints or lipsticks you like in the handbag for special occasions and this is one such product! I bought this product discounted as a twin set with the lip balm, and while for moisturising purposes the balm may be thicker and better for lips, this is a good standby to colour and protect! Effectively, this is a great, easy to use, everyday product. Smelling wonderfully of mint, runny consistency and gliding on like a dream, this is one lightly coloured, 'Nearly nude' colour that seems to hydrate well and the mix of colour is pink enough for me to make me feel it is almost a light lipstick. I have olive skin tho and some fair girls might find it too brown for them. Nonetheless it is filled with lots of natural ingredients, and is small enough to fit in the smallest of clutches. It also has a good lid that isn't hard to take off but won't fly off on its own either. While not amazing, this is a great everyday product, that will layer well with a bit of powder, give good colour and moisture well. Good to have on hand.
