I know vitamin E is so important for skin so I was so excited to try Nude by Nature's restoring night cream enriched with vitamin E. With dehydrated skin, my face needs day and night moisturiser to get through the cold and dry winters so the timing of this trial was perfect. At first I thought the pump style of packaging was a little weird, but after using it every night I fell in love with its unique pump design. I leave the lid off permanently and gently press the top for a small amount of cream to come out that is the perfect amount for my face. It's not like other pumps that give out an excessive amount. One pump is all you need, a small amount of cream has great coverage. The feel is NOT oily and it spreads well. The Shea Butter smell is relaxing and calming BUT not overpowering which is perfect before sleep. Lastly, I was also super impressed that the product was sourced and made in Australia. I love supporting local products where I can and didn't realise this brand was Australian. Good to know. After using the cream morning and night throughout winter I am happy with how soft my skin is and am enjoying using the cream.

In true honesty, this isn't a product I would normally buy off the shelf. It looks so natural and eco friendly that I wouldn't have thought it would actually do a good job in hydrating my skin, especially on my sensitive skin that seems to react to fragrances and stimulating ingredients. I am a classic QV girl who pretty much only uses watered down sorbelene products everywhere to keep my dehydrated skin looking decent. I have used this product every night for a week and can say that not only is my skin feeling hydrated and soft, surprisingly not reacting to the raft of natural ingrediants in it, but I also REALLY ENJOY using this product so much that I never forget to use it. The smell is amazing. Circling the cream on my face at the end of a stressful, tiring day definitely feels luxurious and relaxing. A lovely way to end my day. The fragrance helps me breath deeper, and puts me to sleep in a good mood. The packaging is also makes this cream easy to use and apply.

I really enjoyed using the perfect finish on my bikini area and eyebrows. I like the trimmer - It's a good size to maneuver which great for hard to reach areas and is also really easy to clean with the removable cap and brush. Although you can use the bikini trimmer on wet skin, I found it hard to use in the shower...much better performance when its dry. My eyebrows grow long so I also enjoyed using a powered eyebrow trimmer for the first time. I definitely think this is something I will keep using. As for the facial hair attachment, I didn't have any facial hair that I wanted to remove. I have a regular eyebrow / upper lip waxing schedule so won't need to use it unless it is an emergency, but I can see how this feature would be valuable and it might come in handy one day. I'm a little worried that I am going to lose some of the attachments so I am glad there is a beauty bag included.

I'm a big fan of mist. I love a little boost during the day at my desk to keep my skin hydrated, especially when I am wearing makeup. I was a little hesitant when I saw the brand OLAY as it reminds me of what my mum used to use when I lived at home, but now that I am well into my thirties I am probably getting closer to the target audience and am looking for the hydrating and firming qualities OLAY is known for so I was keen to give it a try. Definite pros for the mist is the spray functionality. I currently use Jurlique and the spray really hits you in the face. OLAY have the perfect spray distribution and strength. I really found the application easy and enjoyable. My only objection would be the scent. It is very fruity which is not my preferred style. BUT the smell is energizing as it promises and moves on quite quickly. As I said I really enjoyed using the product and any extra hydration my skin can get is a bonus.

I have no issue with the super pad size product performance itself except it felt too big to wear all day. Yes it is really thin but the length of the product is really long. I don't tend to need such large coverage throughout the day. In saying this though I loved using this product overnight because this is when this type of coverage saves me from unwanted mess. Other than the size I do love how thin and absorbent this product is. Made of Aussie cotton, the pad is soft to touch and doesn't irritate. The fact that this product has no chlorine, fragrance or dyes is a big selling point for me as well because I really enjoy using natural products.

Really enjoyed my experience of using Lovekins pads. Wearing sports tights all day means I really don't enjoy using thick nappy-like protection - I'm always worried you can tell I am wearing pads normally, but the thin and flexible Lovekins pad put my mind at ease. It absorbs well and has great coverage to stop any leakage. I really like the idea of it being made of Aussie cotton. It is soft and doesn't irritate. The fact that this product has no chlorine, fragrance or dyes is a big selling point for me because I really enjoy using natural products. I'm making the switch to Lovekins!

This was probably my least favourite part of the 3 step system from Elvive. My hair is definitely stronger with less breakage and smoother because of religiously using this system for over a month. But this step in the system made it difficult to style my hair as the product made my hair heavy, a little oily and challenging to straighten. If you are happy to sacrifice the style of your hair for a few weeks in an effort to improve the strength and health of your hair I would say go for it. If you are using the shampoo and conditioner it is not essential that you use this part of the system all of the time. Unless you have a serious problem with hair breakage like I did you could probably get away with just using this product when you are not too worried about the style of your hair for the week.

I want to preface this post with that I've gone from using a natural shampoo and conditioner to using the Loreal Elvive 3 step system so the improvements I'm comparing are not really apples with apples. The differences I have seen in how healthy and strong my hair is has been significant. It feels like my hair has had a deep clean and the smell is AMAZING - I definitely enjoy using this conditioner. The biggest improvement for me is that my hair has been breaking significantly less. I love having long hair and always choose hydrating masks and conditioners, but this system has had a great impact on reducing breakage which will help me keep my long hair looking healthy for longer. I just worry about the long term effects of using chemicals in my hair which is why I have rated it 4 starts, but other than that I am happy with it's performance.

I don't normally go for supermarket shampoos because I worry the chemicals will dehydrate my hair. What attracts me mostly to the Elvive Dream Lengths shampoo is that I have grown my hair long and the breakage I was getting was really thinning out the ends of my hair. There is only so much my natural shampoo seems to be hydrating. I can say after the first few weeks after using this shampoo I am definitely seeing less breakage and hair floating around which I am grateful for. My hair does feel softer. What I loved most is the smell. It feels so luxurious to use this product I fear I won't go back to my natural chemical free option after using it. I do worry about the chemicals used though. I'm not sure how I feel about putting Keratin and Castor Oil in my hair which I understand to be quite powerful chemicals.

I use Vaseline on my lips everyday, multiple times a day. I have really dry skin, but never chapped lips. The tub lasts me for years. My partner knows where I keep it and he uses it too. It has the perfect amount of shine and keeps my lips soft and smooth. I also run early in the morning and it protection my lips from the freezing cold air. I don't really use it anywhere else, but after reading other reviews where the use it on their feet - I'm eager to give that a try as well!
