I’m always sceptical when using products that claim to ‘brighten’ skin. My first thoughts always turn to skin bleaching which puts me off completely especially if it’s something I’m going to be applying to my face. I tend to lean towards more natural products that are gentle on your skin but still pack a punch with collagen renewal or exfoliation or even just plain locking in moisture. I wonder if the description of this had me on guard from the get go. I did still try it though and on first impression was impressed with the packaging. I’m a sucker for a pump bottl. I feel their far more hygienic. This bottle however is opaque so I’m not sure how accurate the size of it depicts product amount. The product comes out in a clear gel form which spreads super easily and generously over the skin covering large areas fluidly. It leaves an immediate silky finish on skin with a slightly tight feeling. Now the smell is weird. Not a sorbolene plain smell but a little plastic smelling. Not nice and at all. This doesn’t disappear as soon as the product is absorbed though. As to its claims of refining pores and reducing lines I didn’t see any of that. It didn’t break me out either though which I’m grateful for. I wouldn’t recommend this as I didn’t really notice a difference to my skin texture or appearance of the trial period.

Great moisturiser, no fuss no frills just does it’s job. Large generously sized pump bottle which is great to share with the family ensuring kids don’t waste any. Great consistency allowing easy generous coverage over large areas. One pump covers my entire leg easily with leftovers for my hands and elbows. No fragrance added which is great for sensitive skin types. It absorbs quickly not leaving any residue on your skin. I do prefer my skin to look slightly shiny or polished after I moisturised though and this doesn’t do that at all. It leaves a very natural finished and just removed any ashiness to the skin only. Great for before bed or lounging around at home. As I said nothing fancy but definitely does what it claims and leaves skin moisturised and not irritated at all. Not as great on dryer areas like heels, I still needed an extra balm to moisturise those areas. But all over body was fine.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to brushes and this just slightly falls short of what I look for personally. I will say however it FEELS great on the scalp before hair wash day. I tend to wear my hair up often before it’s time to wash so letting out and using this brush on my scalp felt amazing. Like a mini massage scrub before I wash it. My only issues with the brush are keeping to clean. I like waterproof brushes that I can scrub down and leave to drip dry. Brushes where I can get any dandruff or hair out easily to ensure the brush is kept clean is essential for me. With the way this brush is made I wouldn’t want to wash it under running water as a lot of that would get trapped inside the brush which grosses me out. If that doesn’t bother you or washing your brushes isn’t a part of your routine then this would be great.

Holy moly, I’ve found my new go to! Simple underwhelming packaging really. But boy the product itself is GREAT! The tube application is fine however I can see I’ll be needing to cut it open to get the final product out at the end. And even then I’m it sure I’ll get all of it with the end being hard plastic and at weird angles. Comes out thick like a petroleum jelly and is a creamy white colour that is transparent once on lips. The big kicker about this product though is the BUTTERY FEEL on your lips. It instantly has your lips feeling so smooth and buttery, I’ve never used another product like it. It’s just such a luxurious gorgeous feeling. Has a very slight shine on lips or more of a satin finish and lasts for a couple of hours before you need to reapply. I’ve used this everyday since receiving it and have recommended it to all my girlfriends after the first day of trying it lol. No fragrance that I can detect and other than the packaging it ticks all the boxes for me. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

Have been using these pore strips for years now and I don’t think I’ve ever found a product that beats it. Great easy to use single sachet packets ensuring that the rest of your stash is kept safe which is great when in a bathroom or wet area. The instructions on the packaging are easy to follow in the simplicity. The time it takes to use the product is also fairly quick with the oh so satisfying part of peeling the patch off not taking forever. My favourite pet is always peeling it off to see what it gets out of my skin that looks as though there’s nothing there. I love how deep it clears my pores. I will say you do need to keep note when applying to press it into corners by your nose securely before it dries as it needs a good solid hold for it to work effectively. It does leave my skins. Little dry after use but a quick facial moisturiser resolves that immediately,

Was a bit sceptical starting use of this as most bronzer products tend to leave my skin looking fake tanned and not what is go for at all. However this was a nice surprise to use leaving just a subtle wash of colour on my skin. Comes in a generous sized tube that stands on its lid, great for getting all the product out easily. On first use the fragrance is the first thing I noticed giving me a tropical coconut vibe which is nice but slightly too sweet for my personal preference. It wasn’t overwhelming though and disappears after a few minutes. My favourite thing about this product was prep. With most bronzers the prep work is extensive however this didn’t bite into my normal routine at all. Just a quick exfoliation beforehand and it worked fine not looking patchy or streaky in any areas. It spread on the skin easily which is great for larger areas. I used this on my legs which haven’t seen the sun in eons so when the color started coming through I was elated. Giving my skin color definitely did prove its claims of ‘reduce the appearance of cellulite’ as it did exactly that on my thigh area. It really was great. I do use a exfoliating cloth everyday when I shower however so this didn’t last very long at all. What I did like though was it didn’t come off patchy either so I was able to just let it wear away on its own. Great product.

Absolutely love this product. Have re-purchased it many times for husband as he is in construction, however my favourite way to use this is on my FEET! It is a great heel balm that soaks into the skin quickly not leaving oily footprints everywhere you step. Packaging is practical being a tube that sits on its lid ensuring you get most if not all of the product out by the end. It’s also generously sized for its price and tends to last me months even when using it daily. It comes out in a very thick consistency which reminds me a bit of petroleum jelly with its transparent yellowish colour and on application does look a little shiny but this disappears quickly once it has absorbed fully. I had terribly cracked heels even with a monthly pedicure and this resolved that issue after 1-2 uses leaving my skin looking baby soft. Even after a few days of NOT using it after it resolved my heel issue, my feet are still looking smooth. I seriously love this stuff.

I’m a big fan of glow skincare and have a few products from their range in my collection so was extremely excited to see this in our best in beauty box! In typical Glow fashion the packaging was cute yet simple and practical, nothing too over the top just a plain squeeze tube that stands on its lid ensuring that you get as much product as possible. On first use I noticed the consistency to be quite fluid for a facial moisturiser, reminded me more of a body moisturiser. There was no fragrance added which gave it the plain sorbolene smell. On application the product spreads generously due to its consistency covering the face easily with a small amount. It soaked into my skin after a minute or 2 leaving it feeling slightly tacky which was promising for makeup application however not something I would personally use on its own. Under a light makeup it held well, my concealer didn’t slip over a 6-8hr wear day and my blush and bronzer blended quite well over it (I tend to conceal under eyes and problem areas only and bronze and blush on a light day). I also set makeup with a setting spray only and no powder which is great, and after everyday use my skin did not breakout at all or have any reaction to the moisturiser. I didn’t see any improvement or change in my skin either so for me it only acted as a good primer for my makeup, I will say I didn’t notice that areas of my skin that often are dry and flaky were not noticeable when using this which is amazing as I find it difficult to cover those areas especially with a concealer so this was great.

Simple packaging, again like the cleanser I would prefer a more sustainable approach to packaging. This would sell me on whether I repurchased the product or not. I quite liked the scent of this one, didn’t find it offensive at all. Most night creams I’ve used have fragrance in them and it’s just too much when your trying to relax into your bedtime routine. This products scent wasn’t calming butting kind of slipped pleasantly into the background and wasn’t noticed at all. The moisture level on this cream was great! Absorbed into my skin quickly and was greasy or tacky at all which again I find most night creams are. This left my skin feeling well moisturised and smooth. It is really nice, I found myself rubbing it into my arms as well it moisturised that well. I would definitely recommend this product in conjunction with the cleanser. Neither product broke me out or agitated my skin at all. It was a pleasant experience overall.

Nice simple packaging, I wish more sustainable products for packaging were being used. I’m at a stage in life where sustainability and conscious effort towards a smaller footprint is a big selling point for myself. Great cleanser overall though that doesn’t strip the skin at all. However it also doesn’t leave your skin feeling moisturised so you look forward to the next step of skin care. It took minimum 2 washes to get all my makeup off although I found the first wash did clean MORE makeup than other more expensive cleansers I’ve used. Fragrance wasn’t over bearing or offensive which is a big no for me. Skin felt good after use, didn’t break me out at all over the trial period. I even got it in my eye at one stage and it wasn’t too bad in the stink department lol. I will definitely be using this until I finish it which is a big thing for me.
