Winter Golf Series begins Saturday

SkyRidge hosts Fall Scramble on Saturday in Sequim

PORT LUDLOW — Port Ludlow Golf Course will hold the first installment of its six-event Winter Golf Series, a two-player Best Ball tournament, this Saturday.

The event will have tee times start beginning at 9 a.m., barring frost.

Entry fees for each event are $65 for the public, $40 for members and includes GPS cart rental.

Winter Golf Series events are limited to 70 players.

Other Winter Golf Series events are planned for:

Nov. 14: Two-Player Scramble, 9 a.m.

Dec. 31: Four-Player Scramble, 10 a.m. shotgun start.

Jan. 16: Two-Player 6-6-6 (Six holes of Best Ball, Scramble, Alternate Shot), 10 a.m. shotgun.

Feb. 6: Four-Player Best Ball (Two scores count for team), 10 a.m. shotgun.

Feb. 27: Two-Player 9-9 (Nine holes of Scramble, nine holes of Best Ball), 10 a.m. shotgun.

SkyRidge Scramble

SEQUIM — SkyRidge Golf Course will hold its Fall Scramble tournament Saturday.

The 18-hole, two-person scramble format event will have a 10 a.m. shotgun start.

Entries are $60 per team and include green fees, range balls, KPs and a team LP, with a $30 honey pot per team also available.

Gross and net winners will be determined and first-place ties will be broken by sudden death playoff in each division.

Carts are available for $15 per seat.
