Chimacum at Lynden Christian

■ Time: Tonight at 6.

■ Last meeting: Unknown.

■ Records: Lynden Christian 0-4 in 1A Northwest Conf., 1-8 overall; Chimacum 2-5 in 1A Nisqually, 2-7 overall.

■ At stake: The Cowboys look to close out the season on a two-game win streak following last week’s 30-0 win over Port Townsend.

They will take on a Lynden Christian team that was forced to suffer through a brutal schedule that included two losses to fourth-ranked Meridian, two to perennial power Nooksack Valley and one to 2A No. 7 Lakewood.

The nonleague crossover pits the Nisqually League’s sixth-place team against the Northwest District’s No. 5 team.

Neah Bay at Clallam Bay

■ Time: Tonight at 7.

■ Last meeting: Neah Bay 68-20 win in Neah Bay, Nov. 5, 2010.

■ Records: Clallam Bay 4-3 in Northwest Football League, 4-4 overall; Neah Bay 6-1, 6-2.

■ At stake: The Red Devils are pretty much locked in to the Northwest Football League’s No. 3 playoff seed after falling to top-ranked Lummi last Friday.

They will face a desperate Clallam Bay squad tonight, with the Bruins needing a win and a Quilcene upset of Crescent to keep their season alive.

Neah Bay has won five straight against its archrivals dating back to 2008. The last three have come by 45 points or more.

Forks at Toledo

■ Time: Tonight at 7.

■ Last meeting: Forks 30-12 win in Forks, Oct. 10, 2008.

■ Records: Toledo 6-1 in Trico, 8-1 overall; Forks 3-4 in Evergreen, 3-6 overall.

■ At stake: The Spartans are looking to clinch their first 1A state playoff bid in three years when they take on the Indians tonight.

The winner claims the Southwest Washington District’s No. 2 seed and gets a date with Nooksack Valley or Cedar Park Christian next weekend in the first round of the 1A playoffs.

Quilcene at Crescent

■ Time: Saturday at 1 p.m.

■ Last meeting: Quilcene 60-14 win in Quilcene, Nov. 6, 2010.

■ Records: Crescent 4-3 in Northwest Football League, 5-3 overall; Quilcene 3-4, 4-4.

■ At stake: If Neah Bay knocks off rival Clallam Bay on Friday night, the Rangers and Loggers will be playing for a 1B playoff spot when they meet in Joyce on Saturday.

The Loggers are guaranteed a playoff spot with a win regardless of what happens, while the Rangers need a Clallam Bay loss and a win to move on.

Whoever happens to advance gets the unenviable task of facing top-ranked Lummi in a loser-out, winner-to-state playoff next weekend.

Sequim vs. Eatonville

(at Poulsbo)

■ Time: Saturday at 6 p.m. at North Kitsap High School.

■ Last meeting: Sequim 41-6 win in Sequim, Oct. 23, 2009.

■ Records: Sequim 6-1 in Olympic, 8-1 overall; Eatonville 3-4 in 2A SPSL, 4-5 overall.

■ At stake: The Wolves are going for their sixth straight trip to the 2A state tournament.

They face the SPSL’s No. 4 team at North Kitsap High School, with the winner moving on to 2A state to play the Southwest Washington District’s third seed in the first round.

Port Angeles at Franklin Pierce

■ Time: Saturday at 7 p.m.

■ Last meeting: Unknown.

■ Records: Franklin Pierce 6-1 in 2A SPSL, 7-2 overall; Port Angeles 4-3 in Olympic, 7-3 overall.

■ At stake: Port Angeles is trying to become the first football team in school history to reach state two years in a row.

If the Riders are to pull that off, they will have to do so the hard way with a win against 2A SPSL champion Franklin Pierce on its own turf.

Whoever moves on will face the winner of Friday night’s White River-Interlake game in the first round of the 2A state playoffs.
