SPORTS SHOTS: Drag racing, mud bogging on the Peninsula

There was drag racing and mud bogging on the Olympic Peninsula this weekend. At left, Joe George, near lane, and Lacey Kennedy, her head barely visible in the far lane, both from Port Townsend, race on the mud track on identical Yamaha Raptor 700 ATVs during the Mud Drag races event of the Jefferson County Fair at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds on Sunday. George won all three of the best of three races.
