Sports: Roughriders hang on for 28-26 win; Macomber gallops 317 yards

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles High School football team gutted out a 28-26 win over Olympic in Narrows League competition on Friday at Civic Field.

Adam Macomber had a season-high 317 yards on 40 carries and scored three touchdowns.

“(Macomber’s) just a really talented kid and a hard runner,” Port Angeles head coach Dan Novick said. “He’s definitely a weapon.”
