ORTING — Nick Gallaway rushed for three touchdowns and 208 yards Friday night and the Port Townsend High School football team beat Orting on the road for the first time in 15 years.
The Redskins totaled 495 rushing yards and stayed unbeaten with a 56-21 Nisqually League victory.
Port Townsend improved to 2-0 in league and 3-0 overall.
Eatonville 26, Sequim 12
EATONVILLE — Sequim grabbed a 6-0 lead on the first possession of the game Friday when Ryan Rutherford caught a 69-yard pass from Kenny Hall.
But the Wolves (1-1 Nisqually League, 1-2 overall) gave up 24 points in a decisive second quarter.
Klahowya 34, Chimacum 0
CHIMACUM — Klahowya racked up 391 rushing yards Friday in a Nisqually League game, sending Chimacum to its third straight defeat to open the season.
