Sports: Port Angeles loses to Gig Harbor

GIG HARBOR — The Port Angeles High School football team lost 35-7 to Gig Harbor in Narrows League play Friday night.

Adam Macomber had the only touchdown for the Roughriders, and rushed 31 times for 164 yards.

Gig Harbor took a 7-0 lead early on an 86-yard kickoff return; and Port Angeles was down 14-0 early in the first half.

“We didn”t show up ready to play,” said Port Angeles coach Dan Novick.
