SPORTS BRIEF: Port Townsend Drizzle seeks senior women’s basketball teams for competition

Drizzle seeks basketball teams for senior games

The Port Townsend Drizzle Women’s Basketball Team is looking for competition at the Washington State Senior Games this July in Olympia.

For the last two years the women have not had any opponents. The players were forced to divide into two teams and play against each other. So, the Drizzle is putting out a call for women 50 and over to come mix it up in 3-on-3 basketball.

If you enjoy basketball, put together a team and force the Drizzle to work for its medals.

The Washington State Senior Games features 24 sports and nearly 2,000 athletes.

“We eagerly look forward to finding teams to give the PT Drizzle some competition. Contact me if you have any questions,” said Jack Kiley, director of the senior games. For more information, go to http://www.washingtonstate seniorgames.com.
