SPORTS BRIEF: Golf tournament to benefit Captain Joseph House

PORT ANGELES — The Cedars at Dungeness second annual charity golf tournament to benefit the Captain Joseph House Foundation on June 27.

Tee times are from 9 a.m. to noon with a scramble format.

There is nearly $25,000 in prizes. The hole-in-one prize is a 2020 Chevy Spark donated by Ruddell Auto Mall. Golfers can also win a four-day package to Tubac Golf Resort and Spa in Arizona with $300 included for air fare.

Golf course fees are usually $100 but have been discounted to $90 for this year’s event and includes green fees, cart, range balls and a boxed lunch. Golfers are asked to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before tee time.

Golfers should register early to reserve a spot. People can register at the Cedars at Dungeness Pro Shop or call 360-683-6344 or 800-447-6826.

Sponsorship opportunities include discount Covid-19 fees. The Diamond Level is $1,000/$919 for four players, Platinum Level $500/$419 for two players, $250/$219 for tee box or green and $100/$81 for Joe’s Gold Club. To purchase sponsorships, contact Betsy
