For the girls, Lacey Bishop shot a 60, just four shots off the top score, while Delana Horner shot a 66.
The boys finish the season with a record of 3-6. The Cowboys next play at the Higgins Memorial Tournament today at Kitsap Golf and Country Club and then the Duke Streeter Invitational at the Peninsula Golf Club in Port Angeles at 1 p.m. Friday.
Sequim 168, North Mason 208
ALLYN — The Wolves carded the three lowest four scores of the day, finishing an undefeated season in Olympic League play, cruising to a win and a league title 168-208 over the Bulldogs at Lakeland Village Golf Course.
Paul Jacobsen led all golfers with a 40 for Sequim, while teammates Andrew Vanderberg shot a 42 and Blake Wiker and Josiah Carter each carded a 43. North Mason’s top golfer, Eric Jones, posted a 48.
Sequim, 9-0 in Olympic League play, will defend its Higgins Memorial Tournament title today at Kitsap Golf and Country Club.
Port Angeles 197, Bremerton 208
BREMERTON — The Roughriders edged the Knights to earn an Olympic League win and to end league play with a winning record.
Port Angeles won by a score of 197-208 as the Riders’ third and fourth golfers easily outpaced Bremerton’s.
Logan Kovalenko fired a 43 for the Riders, tied for the best round of the day with Bremerton’s Bryce Kahle.
Cameron Fouts shot a 50 and Royce Duncan and Carson Wilder each shot a 52 for Port Angeles. Duncan and Wilder combined to beat the Knights’ third and fourth golfers by nine strokes.

Boys Soccer Port Angeles 3, Olympic 2
BREMERTON — The Roughriders got off to a fast start with three goals in the first 14 minutes, then held on for a 3-2 win to jump into a tie for third place in the Olympic League 2A Division.
Port Angeles got a goal in just one minute from Andrew St. George, who was assisted by Ben Schneider. In the 13th minute, a cross by Grayson Peet was headed by Stuart Methner, then deflected off an Olympic player for a goal.
Kenny Soule scored an unassisted goal just a minute later on a long shot from Methner. Soule cleaned up after the rebound and tapped the ball in to give the Riders a commanding 3-0 lead.
Olympic’s two goals were at the very end of the first half (38th minute) and the very end of regulation (79th minute).
Coach Chris Saari said his team lost some of their intensity in the second half, but that it was a much-needed three points for the team.
“[We] took [our] foot off the gas pedal and let Olympic back into the game. Olympic’s second goal came with almost no time left on a scramble in front of the Rider net that led to a close range tap-in goal. The final whistle blew immediately after the ensuing kick off and Port Angeles escaped with the needed three league points on the road,” Saari said.
The win was crucial to the Riders’ playoff run. Port Angeles is now 5-4 in league (8-5 overall), tied for third with Sequim, with Bremerton lurking 1 1/2 games back. This sets up a match with playoff implications Friday at 6:45 p.m. at Sequim.
North Kitsap 6, Sequim 0
POULSBO — The Wolves went up against the undefeated and likely league champion Vikings and lost 6-0 on the road.
“We got hammered,” said coach Dave Brasher. “They’re solid, [but] we didn’t play that well.
“Everything they touched turned to gold and everything we touched turned to lead,” Brasher said.
North Kitsap got off to a fast start with two goals in the first 12 minutes and got up 4-0 by the end of the first half. Brasher said the Wolves played a lot better in the second half, holding the Vikings to just a pair of goals in the final 40 minutes.
The loss sets up a critical game at 6:45 p.m. Friday in Sequim versus rival Port Angeles. The Wolves and Riders are tied for third place with identical 5-4 records (and identical points) in the Olympic League 2A Division, though Port Angeles has a slight edge because the Riders beat the Wolves earlier this season at Civic Field.
