Spartans tally 24 hits across pair of games

The Spartans improved to 5-0 on the young season with the sweep.

In game one, Forks quickly spotted Ilwaco a three-run lead but rallied back with a torrent of runs in the home half of the first and second innings.

Aiden Salazar got things going with a two-run double, Keaton Northcut followed up by doubling home Salazar and Pursely drove home two on an infield single.

Urvina picked up the win on the hill, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks in three innings with a pair of strikeouts.
