PREP FOOTBALL UPDATE: Sequim has chance late in loss to North Kitsap

Forks, Baker run over Port Townsend; Kingston tops Port Angeles; Chimacum falls to La Conner

POULSBO — Sequim had a shot late to potentially tie its important Olympic League clash with the North Kitsap Vikings but couldn’t cash in on a first-and-goal from the Vikings’ 5-yard line and fell 16-8 Friday night.

The loss puts pressure on the Wolves (0-1, 2-1) for the remainder of league play as just three squads will make the district playoffs.
