Port Angeles vs. Olympic, suspended
BREMERTON — The Port Angeles girls basketball team may get a victory from its game started with Olympic on Friday night, but it the players will have to wait to claim the “W”.
With Port Angeles ahead 32-23 with 3:35 left in the third quarter, the contest was suspended due to an air vent in the gymnasium leaking water onto the floor. The water on the floor made the surface unplayable, said coach Michael Poindexter.
“The likely plan will be to continue the game when Olympic visits Port Angeles on Jan. 24,” Poindexter said.
