FOOTBALL: Port Townsend, Chimacum players make Nisqually/Olympic All-League team

CHIMACUM — Chimacum junior Jacob Williamson is a two-way first-team All-Nisqually/Olympic League football selection along the offensive and defensive lines, headlining a crop of Cowboys and Port Townsend Redhawks honored in recent voting by league coaches.

Williamson was joined on the first-team defense by senior teammate Logan Storm, a defensive utility selection. Storm also was a second-team selection at running back.

Chimacum seniors Ben Preston and Isaac Purser were second-team picks along the defensive line and at punter, respectively.

Port Townsend senior Chase Campbell was picked to the first-team offensive line and Redhawks junior Dylan Tracer was a first-teamer at linebacker. Junior Noa Apker-Montoya was a first-team pick at defensive back and punter.

Tracer also earned a second-team nod at running back and Apker-Montoya also was picked as the second team quarterback.

Other second-teamers for Port Townsend are junior defensive lineman Wes Blue and defensive utility pick Nico Winegar, a senior.

Cascade Christian junior Conner Zetterberg was voted Nisqually/Olympic MVP and junior teammate Parker Johnson is the Offensive Player of the Year.

Klahowya sophomore Hunter Wallis was voted Defensive Player of the Year.

Bellevue Christian’s Todd Green was selected Coach of the Year.
