FOOTBALL: Five Spartans make All-Evergreen League first team

FORKS — The Spartans’ Tristan Pisani, Brett Moody, Luke Dahlgren, Colby Demorest and Keith Thompson all made the Evergreen 1A League All-League football team.

Pisani was named as a running back, Moody as a tight end, Demorest as a linebacker and Thompson as a defensive back. Dahlgren was named on the first-team offense as an offensive lineman and on the first-team defense as a defensive lineman. Only three players in the entire Evergreen 1A League made both the all-defense and all-offense first teams.

Making the honorable mention offensive team were Spartans Iziah Morton, Eden Cisneros, Caleb Peters and Gabe Terrones and making the honorable mention defensive team were Hayden Baker and Tony Flores.

Offensive line —Robert Marti, Tenino; Luke Dahlgren, Forks; Jacob Garcia, Elma; Alejandro Hernandez, Elma; Caleb Larson, Hoquiam; Kai Olson, SR, Montesano.

First team defense

Defensive line — Kai Olson, Montesano; Alejandro Hernandez, Elma; Luke Dahlgren, Forks; Taitum Brumfield, Elma.

Linebackers — Paxton Russell, Tenino; Colby Demorest, Forks; Brady Cummings, Hoquiam; Brent Hollatz, Montesano; Ben Sowers, Elma.
