COLLEGE SOCCER: Peninsula men have no trouble with Skagit Valley

In college soccer, the No. 1–ranked Peninsula men blanked No. 9 Skagit Valley 7–0. Edwin Diaz led the Pirates with two goals and an assist, while Jeremie Kuelo, Jeremy Obah, Austin Collins and Ezrah Ochoa also netted goals.

Goalkeeper Max Woithe made one save in goal to earn the shutout.

Peninsula hosts a Saturday doubleheader against Edmonds.
