ATHLETES OF THE WEEK: Miriam Wonderly, Hannah Olson, Athletes of the Week

Clallam Bay’s Miriam Wonderly and Hannah Olson had pair of spectacular North Olympic League meets last week, combining to win 10 individual and relay events.

Wonderly won the 100- and 200-meter runs in the NOL championships on May 3 and the NOL Sub-District on May 10. She added a 400-meter first-place in the NOL championships on May 3.

Olson won the 100-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles at the NOL championships on May 3, and won the javelin at the NOL championships and the NOL subdistricts.

Wonderly and Olson were also part of Clallam Bay’s 4×100 and 4×200 winning relay teams at subdistricts and with Kaylin Signor and Kendra Anderson. The Bruins’ 4×100 and 4×200 have top 10 times in both events in the entire state at the 1B level.
