Sequim’s Adrienne Haggerty was recently named the Most Valuable Player of the Olympic League 2A Division Volleyball League.

Haggerty, a middle hitter, helped lead the Wolves to a highly successful season — a 16-5 record, a second-place finish in the Olympic League with a league record of 10-2, a State 2A Tournament berth and a win at the state tourney.

Haggerty had an impressive year statistically, with 221 kills (10.5 kills per match), 80 blocks, 51 aces, 279 digs, 163 perfect serve receive passes and 269 successful serves out of 310 (an 86.7 percent success rate).
