PORT TOWNSEND — A documentary on the East Jefferson wrestling program will be shown at Port Townsend High School at 7 p.m. Sept. 19.
Bryce Harbin and Benjamin Green are two recently graduated Port Townsend High School students who complied hundreds of hours of footage to create this 60-minute documentary on the Rivals’ wrestling program and its season. The movie stars athletes Mason Iverson, Grady White and Gracee Liski.
The admission is free at the Port Townsend High School Auditorium at 1500 Van Ness St. in Port Townsend.

PORT ORCHARD — South Kitsap’s Wolves did the Sequim Wolves no favors in a season-opening 25-14, 25-16, 25-15 loss on the road Tuesday.
“One of their girls was hitting clearly over our attackers,” Sequim coach Jennie Webber Heilman said. “They had more firepower than us.”
Freshman Jordyn Julmist had an impressive debut with seven kills and five digs.
Kenzi Berglund led the team at the service line, going 13-of-15 on serves with an ace, 16 assists and four digs.
Rose Gibson had four kills and went 8-for-8 on serves with an ace, three digs and five perfect passes.
Brianna Palenik added a pair of kills and Sophie Greenleaf went 5-of-5 with five digs and three perfect passes.
The Wolves host Kingston at 7 p.m. tonight.
Soccer results
PORT ANGELES — High Energy Metals, Salazar Painting and Lincoln Park Grocery all won in shutouts this weekend in the opening games of the fall Peninsula Soccer League held at Wally Sigmar Field at Peninsula College.
HEM won 6-0 over the Bandidos, getting four goals from Nick Allen. Dustin Walsh and Brandon Wagner each scored a goal.
Salazar Painting won 8-0 over Wilder FC, getting four goals from Pablo Salazar. Rafael Flores scored a pair of goals, while Javier Luna and Christian Cortez each scored a goal.
Lincoln Park Grocery won 1-0.
Joyce 3-on-3 league
JOYCE — A 3-on-3 basketball league is being formed in Joyce this fall.
The games will be played at the Crescent School gym on Sundays in October. The cost is $10 per player. All participants must be in high school during the 2025-26 school year.
People can sign up as a team with a maximum of five players. Or people can sign up as an individual and a team will be found for that person. Co-ed teams are permitted. There will be one high school division for this year with two games each day.
