PAHS tennis camp

PORT ANGELES — There will be a free tennis camp July 8-12 for any high school boys interested in playing on the Port Angeles High School tennis team in the fall.

The camp, hosted by head coach Brian Gunderson, will run from 10 a.m. to noon each day at the Port Angeles High School courts.

For new players thinking about playing in the fall, the focus will be on fundamentals. For returning players, this is an opportunity to come out and get ready for the start of the season. People with questions can email Gundersen at bgundersen@portangelesschools.org.

Soccer registration

PORT ANGELES — Fall registration is open for the Port Angeles Youth Soccer Club.

Registration is for U5/U6 and U7, U8-U15. Games will take place on Saturdays from Sept. 7 to Oct. 26. Fields in Agnew will be open for practice on Aug. 26.

The cost is $65 per player. People can register at www.paysc.com.

The club also needs coaches for all age groups. No soccer experience is necessary. Referees are also in high demand. There is a two-part process for referees.

If people would like to referee this fall season, they can complete the online clinic at WAreferees.org and then attend the field clinic. The field clinic date is still to be determined. For further info, people can email pasoccer@gmail.com.
