Level the Field golf tournament and Jefferson County youth soccer registration

Level the Field tourney July 22

SEQUIM — A golf tournament fundraiser designed to make sure students in financial need have the resources to participate in extracurricular activities is set for The Cedars at Dungeness Golf Course on July 22.

Registration and sponsorships are available for the event, the Sequim Association of Realtors Level the Field Golf Tournament, a four-person scramble format tournament followed by a dinner and auction.

Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start set for 1 p.m.

The entry fee is $100 per person.

Gold, Silver and Bronze-level sponsor packages also are available.

JeffCo recreation soccer

PORT TOWNSEND — Registration for Jefferson County Parks and Recreation’s fall youth soccer leagues is open at tinyurl.com/PDN-RecSoccer22.

Separate divisions exist for players from pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade.

Early-bird registration is $65 per player through July 17, $70 from July 18-Aug. 3 and $75 late registration/waitlist.

The fee covers a team T-shirt, game equipment, field preparation and referees for those in grades three and up.

Scholarships are available for those needing assistance.

Games will be played at HJ Carroll and Irondale parks on Sundays beginning at 1 p.m. Sept. 11. Each team also will play an evening game under the lights at Memorial Field.
