Klahhane registration opens Aug. 20

PORT ANGELES — Klahhane Gymnastics registration for fall gymnastics and ninja classes opens Monday, Aug. 20, with classes beginning on Sept. 10.

Registration is from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. August 20-22, from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 25 and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 27, 29, 30 and 31.

Phone inquires are welcome, but in-person registration is required. There is no online registration system. The cost is $40 for yearly Klahhane membership, which is in effect from September 2018 to August 2019.

Membership covers secondary medical insurance, discounts on birthday parties and a free T-shirt and admission for family members at the spring gymnastics demonstrations and ninja celebration. Monthly tuition varies with the type and length of the class.

There are two enrollment options. The first option is traditional rolling monthly enrollment with automatic re-enrollment paid by cash or check only. No debit cards will be accepted. Another option is a discount three-month trimester contract plan with credit card auto-payment. This option is offered at the beginning of September, December and March only.

Gymnastics classes are available at various times Monday through Thursday and Saturday for age 3½ to grade 8. A toddler time class for age 2-3½ is available Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Ninja classes are Friday only for both boys and girls age 4-13. Parents are urged to register early.
